A brilliant evening! We went for the 7 course tasting menu. Each dish was artistically prepared and amazing!

Went with my wife and some colleagues for dinner on June 10th 2021. We had the 7 course tasting menu. Food and service was excellent.

A truly world class restaurant serving well thought out and elegant food with some serous flavour, with service matching the class of the food.
From start to finish our lunch was simply as good as it gets, amazing work from the entire team at Binghams. Make sure to keep that chef as he is incredibly talented and food is on point.

What a special place in the most beautiful riverside setting. We were completely blown away by dinner today — every course of the tasting menu was exceptional and every wine pairing perfectly selected. Service was the perfect balance of warm, welcoming and professional. The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you!

The Bingham Riverhouse is one of our favourite places to visit and also our Wedding Venue so will always hold a special place in our hearts. The hotel is just beautiful and the staff are just amazing! We can’t wait to come back and enjoy a few cocktails and relive the memories of our special day.

We had an amazing experience here, the food was beautiful along with some great wines on the list. This was all topped off with outstanding service from well trained staff.

I had difficulties contacting the Hotel and fired off a poor review of their communication skills. No sooner was it posted than I received an immediate reply saying that their telephone lines were down and apologising for the problem. Their concern and speed of response was impressive and demonstrated that I should have been more patient. Well done Bingham. I apologise.

I've been in England 20 years and this was one of the best restaurant I've eaten at. Superb food, impeccable service, lovely room, gorgeous location. The portions are tiny, which is a pity but also what you'd expect from such a posh restaurant. Not cheap but worth it.

Fantastic venue with all the charm and elan you would expect from an out of the way place in Richmond. A very well stocked bar, with liqueurs you've probably never heard of nestling in with old favourites. The service was second to none for food and drinks and the decor exemplary. Well done all!

One of the prettiest gardens set in the most beautiful locations The Bingham is 5 star. It’s staff are the friendliness and most helpful and the barbecue was unquestionably the best we’ve ever had. From start to finish my wedding was flawless. An unforgettable time! Thank You!

Really nice professional staff. We had a lovely stay in a very comfy room. The river views are outstanding but the real star is the food. Bag a nice terrace table if you can and enjoy the dishes. We had the 3 courses even though we were stuffed! Nice selection of wines and drinks. Parking is a bonus. The river-walk is a bonus. All in all it feels a million miles from London. We will be back.

Stayed here for two nights with my family. Had my morning tea in the garden watching an otter swim by and the oarsmen working hard. Sat in the Cooper tub, with my daughter in our Large River Room, drinking milk and feeling blessed. In this hotel they EXCEED expectations. They make it happen! An evening cigar for my husband or VIP treatment for my three year old. This place is pure bliss! Thank you all! Caroline Lempert, Copenhagen.

£21 for a three course lunch of this quality is an absolute steal. Had the fortune of being here for two of the sunniest afternoons of the year, sitting on the terrace watching the world go by with a bottle of rose and delicious food is a real privilege! Special mention to the Portuguese maitre d' (Ricardo? apologies, didn't catch the name! ) who is charm personified and incredibly helpful…

Arrived at 21.00. My case was brought up for me by a very welcoming receptionist. The room was described as "cosy', but was really adequate. Beautiful views from room. Facilities superb.

I'm afraid living near Bingham is not a nice experience. A haven for weddings. (being woken up by their fireworks in a residential area not so nice). Had their customers parking on our parking space (opp our living room) and almost undeniable lack of responsibility from their management to deny waking up their customers to move their car out of our property makes this place an unforgivable mismanaged hotel. Good location. Nightmare next door neighbours.

Just amazing, I enjoyed the very good and tasty breakfast and good Italian espresso. Very cosy rooms and lovely landscape.

When not busy the Bingham is superb and well worth the price. Absolutely avoid when busy, especially when they are hosting weddings. I'm sure the weddings there are lovely but the impact on other guests is too high.

Disappointing. Room was fine but over reception so noise started at 6.30 from staff and never stopped. Food wasn't good, I couldn't eat most of it and got given out to by a waiter when I mentioned I had a diary requirement. All in all a very disappointing experience and I won't be staying again.

I attended a special event there today. It is a very nice hotel with a lovely riverside terrace. I found all the Staff really helpful & welcoming. Will definitely visit again.

Stunning hotel in a beautiful setting. We had our Christmas party in the function room downstairs which I couldn't recommend enough, the staff are so helpful too. Only word of warning is drinks in the bar are incredibly expensive, double G&T was £22!

Quaint, traditional building with good service and good food. It's well-located by the river Thames and has lovely views at the rear gardens. Parking is tricky here as they have very limited spaces so be warned and plan ahead if travelling by car.

Excellent venue. Well trained staff, great manager, superb food and drink. Cannot fault it, and have eaten there on several occasions.

Very disappointed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nothing like the images or feel portrayed on the website. The actual menu is completely different and misleading to the menu presented on the website. This just isn't acceptable. The staff were at least very helpful and made us feel very welcome despite everything.

Yesterday I attended a wedding at the Bingham. What a beautiful setting for a wedding right beside the river there. The staff were excellent very attentive. The food for the wedding breakfast was superb. I had the vegetarian option (as a none meat eater), I have no idea what it was but I've never tasted anything like it before! It's possible it was quinoa and I think it was a pea purée but whatever it was it was very tasty, with various other veg in one plate it was excellent. The dessert was strawberry parfait and strawberry sorbet with honeycomb pieces … absolutely fabulous. I couldn't fault it. What a perfect day.

My partner arranged an evening in the restaurant for an anniversary. Bingham is located by the River Thames and it's location is ideal for a romantic meal and/ or drinks. The hotel/bar/restaurant is styled in a 20's manner as such is very elegant. My partner and I bother opted for a set menu which was fairly cost efficient and the presentation of the food was great and the food quality very high. Service was excellent and we felt that we were looked after well. Highly recommended!

Great location and views, especially when dining on the balcony on a warm summer evening. Food was nothing to write home about. My advice would be to stick to drinks.

Service was 10/10. Very attentive staff, very friendly, didn't rush us like some places do for there quick turnaround. Sitting outside for drinks after was a little bit windy so staff double checked we where ok. Defiantly worth every penny we paid.

I stayed there for a wedding recently. Positives — great spot by the river, service was good, staff very friendly, chef was excellent. All meals were fantastic. Rooms were tastefully done. Things to improve — breakfast finished too early at 10am. This is a non business hotel and breakfast should go to 11 especially at weekends, variety for breakfast buffet could be better, bathrooms too small but given an old house not much they can do. A bit pricey given level of rooms e. G. Stayed at apex London wall hotel straight after and for the same price in room, it was several notches better. Overall would recommend this place for a weekend outside central London.

The Bingham were fantastic last night. Best food ever, superb service, amazing wine and beautiful view of river and garden during a rainy but balmy evening. Loved dining on the balcony. They excelled with a special touch of giving us pieces of delicious homemade fudge for our anniversary. And there was a wedding going on below treating us to the best of the 90's tunes! The bride and groom must be our age!

My wife bought me an afternoon tea here. Lovely staff beautiful setting. It looked to me like they had overbooked on afternoon teas. It wasn't the relaxing experience in a gorgeous setting I'd expected. There was also a wedding on so we probably had the B team. Nice place… Wrong day. Don't forget if you want to park you leave your car in the Poppy factory's car park and they charge you a fiver once you get into the restaurant.

Great service. Wonderful staff. Food was superb. They also served my wife a birthday dessert plate which I thought was very nice of them. Will definitely go back.

My local favourite. Great service, excellent location and tasty, well presented food. While I can see why they lost their Michelin star, it's still excellent. A real bargain at lunch, I wish I had time to go more often.

I took my wife here for her birthday treat. We always like Mr and Mrs Smith recommended hotels/restaurants and this did not let us down. The 3 course set menu was excellent value for £25 and the food was excellent. We were also served bread and two aperitifs for no extra charge during the meal. The view of the river and gardens was beautiful and the hotel had character and was to an excellent standard. Service was also excellent. We could not fault. I'd recommend parking in River Lane, Petersham and walking along the river to get there as parking and traffic in Richmond not easy.

Lovely cocktails and great service — we came here for our wedding night and also for our one year anniversary. We felt the atmosphere was very relaxing and we loved being by the river — we would highly recommend.

I think they are too focused on status and less about the experience for the customer.

My Husband booked the Bingham for my Christmas present including room with river view, dinner and breakfast and we eventually managed to find a Saturday in July when they could accomodate us. We we told to arrive around 11pm to assure a parking space but on arrival were told the room was not ready until 1pm. We thought of having a relaxing drink downstairs overlooking the river while we waited but were told we could not use any of the downstairs facilities as there was a wedding party (we were not told this when we booked). We had to walk around Richmond until 1pm then returned and were then told the room would not be ready now until 3pm! We were offered a voucher to spend on drinks at the bar — not much of a consolation as we could not use any of the facilities we were looking forward to! We were then told we had to have dinner at 6.30pm due to the dining area being booked later on but when we arrived at the restaurant there was a staff meeting being held so we were told to get a drink at the bar (which was packed with the wedding party) while waiting. The food was good but the room was noisy due to the wedding party carrying on outside our window. On checking out the following morning we were presented with a large bill which I questioned and they lowered the price but there was no itemisation of any drinks we had so we ended up using the voucher plus a lot more! All in all, a romantic weekend away turned into a complete farce and we felt completely ripped off.
