Review of Claridge's 5*

From the moment we arrived at Claridges we were greeted with what can only be described as the friendliest, most professional and most special level of service I have ever experienced. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make it a once in a lifetime experience. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade on the room and it was just breathtaking, my wife held it together just long enough for the staff to leave before bursting into the best kind of tears! The suite was just amazing, the bed the comfiest and biggest we have ever seen let alone slept in and the bathroom was a fully marbled masterpiece. Every member of staff welcomed us by name with a smile and a congratulations. The food in Fera was exciting and delicious — thanks Christian for squeezing us in, and Afternoon tea was such a fun, a gut busting tea and treats journey that I have no doubt we will return for sooner rather than later. Special mention has to go to Joanna our host for this, she was such a laugh and made us feel completely at ease, also special mention to the manager of the restaurant/drawing room I'm sorry we both have forgotten his name but he greeted us every time we saw him by name, was friendly and efficient and clearly lead an excellent team throughout breakfast/lunch (which was also a delight! ). I really meant what I said in the title, I cannot recommend everything about this hotel more highly, its just wonderful, thank you so much to everyone at Claridges for making our Honeymoon such a special memory — we both absolutely loved it!
