Location is great however the hotel needs sprucing up. Furniture is old, very dark wood, couldn’t have curtains open as over looked by an office block.

Stayed one night prior to a course held there. Lovely room. Bathroom bit of a squeeze round the door but otherwise good. Lovely comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were all very polite and friendly and helpful. Course room was good and the food provided was also good. Great handy location a short walk from Green Park tube station.

First class accommodations all through our stay. We arrived late and my kids are hungry. They kept the restaurant open for us to order. On our second night, they even gave us a free meal on top of our orders. Highly recommended.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My breakfasts left a lot to be desired — porridge took an age to be provided and then wasn't very palatable. Room was clean and it was good to have a fridge for our own items. Ideal location for a tourist!

This had to be one of the best located hotels in London for tourists. Convenient access to two small grocery stores and the tube and busses. The only small issues I had were that it's located near a casino so it's loud at night if you have a street view room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Nothing wrong with it. But for a 4* rating. I don't see it. It's great location. Can't argue that. And I would stay again. But wasn't blown away for comparing a stay at a TRUE 4* in another part of england. Maybe just the way London grades hotel? I cant say… can't compare. But I'm concerned if every going below a 4* in London upon returning.

I often go there to have a drink with friends or colleagues. Good selection of beers, at content, considering the area.

I got a room very quickly and very easily. The room itself was of very high standards as well. It was a rather hot day when I booked into my room, and the staff took this into consideration by turning the air conditioner so I was greeted by a lovely cool breeze.

Friendly, well located, a place to come back.

A convenient property for anyone needing or wanting quick access to the kinetics of Mayfair. An older structure with an eclectic range of room types, but always clean and meeting IHG codes. The lobby/ reception area is very dated but functional and geared to accept its high traffic. I've visited this property more than six times and quite pleased with all it has to offer. Suggestion: if you want to experience a piece of British Royalty and Luxury, have an early breakfast at The Ritz, just a few quick steps from the Mayfair H. I. I recommend it highly!

Very nice hotel, I attended a couple of training courses here recently. Very good facilities, the good in the restaurant was lovely. Excellent location, a couple of minutes walk from Green Park tube station.

An interesting place, but in a hotel it would be possible and more modern situation to make.

The atmosphere within the place was warm and welcoming. The rooms were small and too busy with furnitures but the towels were soft. I could not decided if have a carpet or not, I personally don't like the carpet and it was everywhere, in the corridors too. The entrance was with two doors big enough but the bathroom door was not easy to close.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Mayfair. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel could use some renovation, the bathrooms in particular. If you catch a good price then it is a good deal.

Always a pleasure to stay here. It is my favourite hotel in London the best of everything is right at your door and the service is outstanding. Close to Buckingham palace. All the parks, buses, underground and walking distance to everything of interest.

Great hotel with friendly staff and good sized room. Close to tube station and bus stops so really easy to get around. 10 minute walk to Piccadilly and 10 minute walk to Buckingham palace in the opposite direction. Highly recommended.

The rooms look as if they need an update but the decor whilst a bit old fashioned is not too tatty if you don't look too closely. Breakfast quite good, dinner menu uninspiring but if you want decent food there is the Ritz on the other side of the road. Staff and service some of the best experienced in a Holiday Inn.

Dirty, run down, poor facilities. Nice staff though. Obviously great location on street opposite Ritz and near Green Park tube station. Loads of flash cars around and great to wonder down Piccadilly. However, stay somewhere else. Disgusting toilets downstairs, unpleasant lobby, unwelcoming entrance, staff ok on front desk and bar. Management keen to help when you run into them, but can't get away from broken hotel image.

Right in the centre of London, at a price not exorbitant. Atmosphere a bit retro, but kindness and courtesy of all the staff.

An ideal and central place. Next to a subway station and 5 minutes from everything.

Excellent hotel. Very well taken care of. I received Edith, one of the receptionist, who is Spanish, and is excellent her treatment and professionalism. Thanks especially to her and the whole team. Highly recommended to stay at this hotel, which is also located in a strategic location. I would return without hesitation.

Very comfortable, clean hotel. Staff seemed friendly. Only stayed one night as was on a work trip. Would say that my room was looking well worn and in need of a revamp. Also the service in the bar was a little slow but overall not a bad hotel at all.

I was upgraded to an executive room which was amazing. The food at breakfast was nice but I had to leave early so didn't eat a lot. Nice bar.

This was the perfect location for seeing London. Around the corner from the tube so perfect for all directions. Comfortable family room. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The kind of hotel you don't want to take your shoes off in the room because of the filthy carpet. A strong smell of cheep cleaning products. Worried there might be bedbugs. No slippers or bath robe, small awful smelling shampoo and soup, and nothing else; towels thin and crispy. Minibar compleatly empty. Dingy at best. Although the hotel staff are friendly, it's the kind of place not worth more than £90 a night but they charge twice that. As an update to this review; please note the staff at this hotel are very helpful and doing their best with the given condition of the place.

Had a great time here. The hotel is a bit dated but given its brilliant location we could not be happier. Staff were excellent and tended to a few very minor issues very quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I had a lovely afternoon tea here. This is a modern place without traditional China, and they stray away from boring finger sandwiches. I had such a light, fluffy lemon scone with vanilla marscapone. The tea selection was not particularly exciting, but they kept it coming. Definitely a lovely place for a non-traditional afternoon tea.

The Holliday Inn London Mayfair is an okay hotel that feels a little tired, especially for the price. Facilities are perfectly fine and the staff are helpful and respectful. Breakfast was pretty good with a wide selection on offer.

Overall OK but I found little things that should be changed. Of the type: It is not written clear the sheet to make the order of the breakfast in the room. For the rest it is convenient because in the center.

Very central location. A short walk to Piccadilly Circus. Only about a hundred meters to Big Bus and City Tour stop. The hotel is small but the staff are very friendly. Nightingales offers greats meals and a cozy bar. Overall a great value for Mayfair.

The Hotel was fine and the accommodations meant my expectations for Holiday Inn. Short version: Make sure the incompetent young man behind the desk actually checks to see if your reservation could be under your name twice. Long version: Here is the rub, one of the front desk clerks was rather curt with my wife and I. We had a two night stay confirmed prior to our arrival. When we arrived we where informed that despite the email correspondence stating we had two nights stay, he claimed they were all booked. We asked if the additional day could be under our name and a separate reservation, continuing in a curt fashion, he informed us that he checked, and no. The next morning while checking out a competent and polite employee, informed my wife and I that our reservation was under our name twice. If you decide to stay at the Holiday Inn Mayfair and the desk clerk is rude, ask to speak to anyone but him and you will enjoy your stay.

Nice hotel in the heart of London. The first thing that is needed to know is that the location of this hotel is simply amazing, you can go through all the main attractions in town walking. The rooms are a bit old, it's noticeable, but they are all clean, with AC and with no functional flaws. The breakfast fits well my personal taste and probably everyone's since it got plenty of choices. The staff is friendly and offers to help understanding the city. Not much knowledgeable about other hotels in London, but this one was great.

Central… accurate. Modern… you collect valuable points with more stays and upgrades is always assured. Breakfast is good.

Everything as good as your typical high end holiday inns, but rooms are showing signs of wear. Very clean and tidy though. 2 small elevators are not enough for the breakfast rush though.

Very conveniently located hotel, clean rooms, good service. Restaurant is fine for a hotel and should you want more — vast choice of caffes, restaurants around the corner and in Soho (7-10 minutes walk).

Too good! Take the underground from Heathrow to Green Park, across the street to the hotel. Attractions, walk more than 10 minutes. To Chinatown for 15 minutes. Inside 3+ about Star, but clean and comfortable, eating place nearby lots.

Two weeks ago we, the Morton family were fortunate enough to stay in the Holiday Inn Mayfair, London. Even though it was a short stay, we were treated extremely well by all levels of staff we met. They could not be any more courteous, well mannered and helpful, if they tried. The accommodation we were afforded was wonderful and so comfortable to the point of my daughter wanting to keep her pillows. (However, we did NOT keep said pillows). This was really a home from home relaxing stay. We would also like to recommend their restaurant. The food was superb. We slept like logs and ate like kings. We could not fault anything. Thank you to all at the Holiday Inn Mayfair, London.

Excellent service and location but too outdated hotel. Well bed, cold room, bathroom more cold, lukewarm to cold shower and little water in it.

Hotel has the best years behind them, what can be seen in the facilities and their wear and tear. The situation is however unbeatable and the staff was also very friendly.

Holiday Inn London Mayfair is located in a prime location in the middle of London. From here you can reach all attractions on foot. The rooms are relatively expensive and no breakfast is included.

We, 2 persons, checked in on saturday 26/09/2015 around 9 p. M. In the Holliday Inn London — Mayfair, 3 Berkely Street in room 302 (see invoice 442814) and left the next day at 8 o'clock. We payed for the two of us: 359, 00 British Pound for just one night without breakfast. We live in Bruges (Belgium) and that one night costs us around 540, 00 €. UNBELIEVABLE! Room 302 is a standard room. And the view is on a dead-end street full of ligger! Thank you Holiday Inn. We often stayed in one of your hotels, BUT THIS TIME IT WAS THE LAST TIME! We booked via internet from Saint-Pancras, where the Eurostar arrives. Due to maintenance work in the subway on saturday, (as a tourist you don't have that knowledge) we missed our last Eurostar to Brussels. No problem for Eurostar: we got free tickets for the next day.

Location location location! Good hotel in an excellent location. The hotel itself feels a little rundown but if you want an ok hotel for a good price in a prime location then look no further.

I had a lovely two night stay in an elegant room which was beautifully quiet. The staff were first class and hugely helpful. The mini bar was, however, a mystery as it was not full when I arrived and when I mentioned this it became totally empty. The coffee jug has a tiny chord so it was perplexing to use as I needed to prop it up to reach the plug. The drains are sluggish. I pointed these things out to the staff and they welcomed knowing. I will stay again whenever I am in London. Thank you everyone.

The Holiday Inn is located in a Prime location in the heart of London. From here you can walk to all attractions. The rooms are relatively expensive and there is no Breakfast included.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the size of the rooms (by European standards). Situated a short 5 minute walk from Buckingham and equally close to the very chic Belgravia neighborhood in London, you`re also within walking distance to famous Piccadilli Circle. This is a very well constructed building as you will not hear a sound from your room and get a good night`s rest. The lobby is tiny and the staff are adequate, but it is a Holiday Inn and it is a familiar name in Europe. Breakfast at the hotel is pricey by North American standards, but does provide a good selection of foods and makes the morning run smoothly If European flavor is what you're looking for, this isn't for you, but if budget conscience in a very good area, with nearby sites and nearby access to the tube is your thing, you could do a lot worse.

Good hotel with very good service, a perfect base. At the level of location, is not your hotel if you're going to spend a weekend or have a quick trip to London: it is too far from everything and is not well connected with public transport.

Great staff, service was great. Great large room, bathrooms are a little outdated but still fine in comparison to most other hotels in London. Location is great for walking around and close to a tube stop, not the best for driving though when it's peak hour or during the lunchtime rush.

Hotel renewed, closer to Piccadilly Circus and equipped with a wide choice of rooms. I got to try a beautiful Executive Room during my stay in London. Refined, modern and tastefully furnished. The restroom was clean and there was a wide selection of products for personal hygiene. Soft and scented King Size Bed. Friendly, professional and highly qualified personnel. Sincere thanks to their extreme courtesy, kindness and attention to customers. Overall, it was a really great experience.

I cannot say enough about the graciousness of the hotel staff. All were accomadating kind, and friendly. The room was spotless, The breakfast was delicious, and the location was close to everything!. I was there only 5 days, but have lovely memories of London. The Holiday Inn, Mayfair, helped make my stay even more memorable.

My wife and I had our wedding here on NYE 2013. Where do I begin, after some initial teething problems with head office, the staff at HI Mayfair bent over backwards to give us our perfect day full of wonderful memories. Both suites (Stratton and Buckingham), once fully decorated, looked amazing and that is largely due to the current events manager Louise who sat patiently with us through many meetings whilst we made up our mind. The wider staff were very friendly and helpful and at the end of the night a couple of them even joined us on the dance floor! The hotel has only recently started doing weddings but a combination of professionalism and experience from their conference/meeting background ensured a polished, confident approach to everything and they were truly a delight. The head chef even returned from annual leave as a special measure for us and the food was delicious. Thank you all so much for your help, I will be sure to point many friends and family in your direction over the coming years! Jon and Karen.
