Hotel room was clean, a very very long walk to our room. The pub was only selling whole bottles of alcohol at 9:30pm and there was no cider, we had to pay for bottled water. It’s ok if your staying for a couple of hours/1 night and not for many days. Very cheap.

Cosy and quiet. Fairly priced. Ideal place to lay your head down after a night out in London!

Very good hotel for the price, friendly staff and free breakfast. Wish they did an English breakfast, but there's toast and cereal.

000000stars DO NOT STAY HERE! Absolutely disgusting and the man at the front counter was quite rude. I have TRUE pix of this place and nothing like what is posted. Dont believe the hype. Filthy and run down, and let's not even talk about the blood on the walls and curtains, this whole building needs a COMPLETE overhaul and maybe some customer service skills for people who travelled quite a long way to realize they have booked a total dump. I almost cried.

I reserved the room and the hotel charged me. But when I cancelled my booking the hotel reject give me my money back. But before the reservation I had asked many times what will happen if I cancel the reservation. The manager told me that If I do it before 6th of November my money will be given me back. I cancelled the reservation 22 of October. The hotel stole my money.

Bad breakfast. Bad service. Bad bathroom.

Me and my girlfriend paid £129 to stay here for one night! The room was a disgrace with most of the light bulbs out, mold in the shower and stains all over the carpet. I could go on. This did include a breakfast but we decided to get out of the place as quick as possible. Dont waste your hard earned cash on this place.

Rubbish all round! I did the mistake of not reading the reviews as it looked ok for one night — I was totally wrong! Had a sign on the table saying "don't use toilet paper down the toilet" light bulbs out, TV didn't work, no milk to go with the tea/coffee, dirty floors, awful smell, beds so Uncomfy, rough area, noisy atmosphere through the night, feel sick the thought of the room now — what more could you want!

The hotel looks nothing like its pictures and its moldy. Its located in a bad neighborhood and has absolutely no parking anywhere near it. When we tried to cancel our stay the hotel refused to refund us. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this place!

It's got character used to Be a pub but the bedrooms nice and clean, ive been there a few times would recommended it friendly and relaxing staff are friendly and breakfast is continental.

The deco, appearance was dreadful. The staff are not very friendly. The breakfast was terrible. The room did not feel safe to keep the belongings and sleep overnight — the door was not secure, the windows could not shut. But it appeared clean and the sleep was good at night — regardless of someone smoking and the noise.

Awful. The pub downstairs is closed and boarded up so not very inviting straight away. Inside, the hotel is old, dark and dated and all carpets are worn through. No Wi-Fi in the bedroom, no electric sockets near the bed. The window was broken and couldn't close (an attempt at fixing it was made with sello tape! ). A empty TV bracket on the wall, but a TV set up on the desk. In the bathroom, no water pressure and half the lights not working. Only positive: it was clean. Apart from that, nothing good to say about this place.

I was there with my best friend and it was such an amazing time! I love this hotel, it was perfect for the 4 days and the beds are comfortable. Thanks for this nice time and the adorable rooms.

The structure of the hotel is old, poorly maintained and dirty. The rooms are small and not equipped with the basic amenities like hangers in the closet, a glass in the bathroom, a chair for rest the coat. In a few words, a single sold as a double. From the bathroom you feel an unpleasant smell and the friendliness of the staff leaves much to be desired. The only two sofas in the so-called hall look awful, torn and filthy. I hope this recendione can help to nn set foot in this hotel.

Good staff, clean and Nice. While being in a street calm near trade and amenities.

Since we needed a room for one night and we only paid £39 it was excellent! We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on the quality. The only slight complaint was being able to hear other people's conversations in other rooms. Otherwise, very happy!

Clean and well oganised. Just stayed in the lobby for a meeting but it was a decent experience. Yhe staff friendly and I would return.

Is good clean place to stay wen working away. Will definetly be back here. You dont get better then this for the price in the midle of london.

Is not a bad place to sleep, breakfast is Ok, room is Ok. The problem is that is too expensive and far away from the downtown.

No wear near Hampton court at least 1 hour away!

This used to be one of the best pubs in the Elephant and Castle area and, judging by the photos on the hotel's website, it looks like they've kept the interior pretty much as it used to be — warm and cosy-looking. Sadly, the website also says that what it now calls the 'bar' is open only to hotel residents, thus depriving locals of a good place to drink. It was always a friendly and well-behaved crowd who used to drink here, and hopefully the hotel management will reverse this unfair policy.

Hampton Court Palace Hotel @ near Castle tube station is one of the best Budget hotels in London. The budget is low and the rooms are pretty good and clean and they serve a good break-fast also. The main advantages were: 1.5 minutes' walk from Elephant and Castle Tube train station 2. Quick access to anywhere in London through tube. 3. Pretty clean and neat room with good toiletries. 4. House keeping was very good as room was clean everyday during our 1 week stay. 5. Good Wi-Fi connectivity. 6.7 minutes away by taxi from London Waterloo Station.

Great place for a drink after a visit to hampton court a litte expensive.
