I can say that I was more than satisfied with my stay in the hotel. The rooms and bathroom were clean and furnished. Staff helpful and friendly. The English breakfast was excellent and the buffet offered an extensive range of breakfast options. The reception and generally the appearance of the hotel were lovely.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a quiet and thoughtless stay in the vicinity of London.

Another brilliant experience. The staff were extremely friendly. It was incredibly useful that there was a luggage store. The room was spacious and well worth the money. A wonderful trip to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We will be back next year!

The hotel is located in the Peckham area well connected by bus. The first metro station closest to the hotel is Oval. The hotel itself isn't bad, but the rooms are extremely small and maybe you should improve your cleanliness. The internet connection was not very powerful, at least in our room for which the cell phone was sometimes unreachable. Of the microscopic bathroom, great shower very large. Breakfast, which in our case was included, great and plentiful. Staff available and prepared. Overall I would recommend it.

This could have been a lovely hotel to stay in but there was no warning of the building work going on and so when we first arrived hoping to relax before venturing into Central London, the noise levels were such that it was impossible to stay. Natural light was blocked out by a hoarding. Workmen started at 8am, so it really was a case of up and out each day. The room itself was comfortable although the lock on the bathroom door was very temperamental as was the card key slot to access the room. Based on this experience I would not recommend the hotel, which is a shame as the staff were polite and the building was lovely. Handy for buses (stop right outside the hotel), no tube, trains from Peckham Rye (10 minute walk)

Great little hotel, perfect for my short stay. Good (freshly made) Pizza/Italian eaterie just off reception. If I had anything negative to say, it would be the slightly dodgy decor! Links to the graffiti of the area and the Peckham link to Only Fools & Horses — they even have a 3 wheeler Trotters Independent Traders Van outside! Staff were helpful and friendly.

The room was clean and most of the things in there were working. The air con was a bonus due to the hot weather that we experienced during the stay. Website stated that there was parking on site, which there was however there were 6 spaces and we were told we had to park on the local housing estate or cancel our booking with no charge. After telling them to cancel it they managed to find a space in the car park for us to put the car. The shower did not drain very well so while you were in it you were stood in the dirty water. Also you had to leave 10-15 minutes between people so that the water could drain. The hotel was easy to find and close enough to the tube station and bus links that it was easy to get to where ever we wanted to go within London.

Very good hotel to spend a stay in London. The rooms are very clean, nice and well decorated. We were off street side and it wasn't noisy. However the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired and is not very good. It remains expensive for the quality of the products. The reception is very friendly.

If you need to be in or near Peckham then you could do worse, but bear in mind most of the rooms are *tiny* — 6-8" clearance along two sides of the bed is the entirety of the floor space available to you — so pack lightly! Our room also had a really odd and vaguely inappropriate quote from Roosevelt on the wall, and in the age old struggle of sink vs kettle, sink emerged victorious. (And the less said about the irritatingly inaccurate and painfully naff Only Fools and Horses reference in front of the hotel the better. )

Too noisy at night/noisy at night — bathroom too small/bathroom to small.

The room is decent and a good night sleep. Breakfast is delicious and fast. However the staff are pretty clueless and slow. Also only 7 spaces for cars and the entrance never works and have to ring reception to be let in but takes forever for people to answer.

It's nice, very colorful and a nice atmosphere, the room a little small and the bathroom even more.
Quality Price Well.

This property was a pleasant surprise in London. Clean the room, great weather, recently renovated. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bus stop right in front of the entrance a real convenience.

Hotel has 30 minutes from London by bus. The staff is not very friendly and does not speak French. (We are in England but no effort on their part)
Otherwise small but clean room. Clean bathroom.
The noise of the planes also is very present.

Very friendly hotel, very nice staff, and room clean and made every day.
The only person not very pleasant C is the vigil at the reception, no smile and you stare as if you had the plague.!

Superb hotel a bit out of the city centre about 30-40 minutes by bus to the centre of London.
On the other hand the buses that pass by the hotel are part of the few that pass at any time.
The prices of the nights are very affordable considering the service provided.
And the staff is extremely welcoming.
In short a great hotel in a good neighborhood. Also next to a more rural area that I enjoyed discovering also.

Very clean hotel. The room was clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly. Gladly again.

The price-performance ratio is definitely right. The nice were very comfortable and it was all clean. The people were very nice and friendly. Those who come to the hotel in the evening from a great day and don't want to go out for a meal can go to the pizzeria, which was really delicious. The only really negative was that the fire alarm always goes off when someone in the room smokes, which is actually banned and that happened once at 3 o'clock in the morning. Otherwise a really good hotel with good Busverbundungen is the city.

Just enough. Placed in a tiny room, below street level… pretty much a basement!
The only window was to "Wolf's mouth" and you couldn't open it. (This also created me anxiety: In case of danger, what escape route would we have? )
And let's talk about cleanliness? In four days never changed towels; The last day under the bed we found a sock that was not ours. So not only was it never cleaned during our stay… But even when the previous occupants left it free!
Only positive notes: 1 = In the room we had a heat pump so we could decide the temperature we wanted; 2 = The inside pizzeria was really good; 3 = courteous staff.

The Hotel is very good. Restaurant rooms somewhat. Cold, the closing of the windows was not good, and towards current at night. The area is not recommended.

Couldn’t sleep the beds are horrific come back to the hotel the following day to find my girlfriends purse on the bed open with money missing! Went to complain and was then told we shouldn’t of left any of are belongings in the room when we don’t leave for another day. Would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone!

Don't bring your best cat for swinging, it ain't gonna happen. Pay for a room, pay to park, pay for breakfast… it looks like a good deal but leave your wallet at the desk cos there's no such thing as a free… anything! Could not understand what the young lady at reception was telling me until several repeats… had to wait 15 minutes for the gates to the car park (6 spaces! ) were opened as the intercom doesn't. Bare and basic. Views of the aircon from the window. Not a pleasing experience.

Cheap and cheerful wouldn't really do this place justice. It's clean, bright and modern, a bit cheesy decor wise but at least they're consistent with the theme. The food in the restaurant was beyond expectations and really good value as well. If you're staying in the area I'd highly recommend this place.

Very nice and courteous staff, always helpful. Great public transport, 20 m next to the hotel a bus stop. Take the bus to the Elephant & Castle subway station (Ca15 min) and then go to the subway and reach everything. (with the Oyster Weekly card everything just doable) Again, unfortunately, the hotel restaurant did not open on Sundays evening, but many good restaurants in the area especially a good Italian.

Nice and clean Hotel but rooms quite small and we found some problems with the heating. Easily accessible by means.

Highly recommended place to stay. In a quieter area, but close to shopping district and transport. Staff are caring, but not budersome. Everything was made simple. Prices are reasonable. Stay here almost every time Im in London.

I stayed in twin room with my daughter who was due to attend her interview at University of Arts London the following morning. Situated just a few hundred yards from the University make this hotel extremely convenient. The hotel is clean but the room was on the small side but adequate for our needs. We were given a basement room with twin beds. Only issue was the windows were not properly sealed and as I did not want to sleep with air conditioning on, the room became quite cold during the night but the duvet provided adequate warmth so not really an issue. Would recommend for a short stay.

Exactly as expected for the money. Good value for your London visit. The room was small but clean and the transit connection into central London couldn't be easier. The bus is right outside and takes you into the centre in 20 minutes or so. The onsite pizza restaurant was also quite good. There's all kinds of markets and places to eat nearby. This obviously isn't a luxury hotel but offers all you want for a budget friendly visit to London.

+ Good value for the city centre + links to public transport and supermarket nearby + friendly staff + breakfast (absolutely English/vegetarian instead of continental order! )
+ Clean — Noisy — hallway/stairwell in the years — we unfortunately had a room on the 1st evening with a very unpleasant smell, but the next day we immediately got a new one (here without any complaints! )

Very good Pizza and chicken and the Italian waiter is very nice… The rooms are small but beautiful and welcoming… only bring adapters for the three-splints… if not you can buy them at 1 Pound at a store near the Lidl where there is an Italian girl.

Rooms are very clean. Have stayed here a good few times now. This time our room was very small. The rooms were previously stayed in have never been particularly spacious bit this time It was a real squeeze. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the cleanliness is perfect as usual.

Very nice hotel, very helpful staff and very clean rooms, has pizzeria and bar that I honestly didn't try, however I saw that the prices are very affordable. Property located in zone 2 in a nice and quiet neighborhood, very inconvenient to reach by metro and overground because you need to make many changes, and also the station of Peckham Rye seemed a bit dangerous if reached at night, but this is connected Very nice with the buses, and the stops are very close to the hotel, I also recommend taking the bus 345 to South Kensington because it makes a very nice route, and offers the opportunity to introduce the most peripheral areas of London, areas that anyway in my 3 holidays to London I had never seen and they are really beautiful! I had a very nice quadruple room with a loft where the other beds were located, with a window overlooking the school next door. Very nice and recommended.

The price is great and the facilities are super comfortable, it is clean and the staff is very friendly. Although it is far from Westminster city the bus transport is very good choice.

The hotel is clean and the staff welcoming. It is very well located, 30-40minutes from the main places of interest in London.
The decoration of the rooms is a bit kitch, and one does not understand the 3 stars, but good value for money considering the high prices of the accommodations in London.

Correct rooms, it is noted that it has been refurbished in the 2016. We were in a room for 3 and well. The location is in the south of London, you can move with bus to the most central areas about 30 minutes of minimum displacement, also close to the Peckham train stop. The neighborhood is a workers ' neighborhood outside the entire core of tourism.

The Customer Service Staff was amazing. My son stayed there over the Christmas time. Being an old school, I sent them email to print my hand written Merry Christmas note for my son. Honestly I didn't expect too much, knowing that it's a high season. But they did it straight away and put it in my son's room! Huge thank you.

It's an OK hotel. The area is not the nicest but at least there are multiple busses to the city. The rooms are basic but nice. Unfortunately the one I stayed at had a funky smell. Restaurant looks nice.

Very clean Hotel and good service but something away from downtown and neighborhood not very appropriate.

Not my kind of place, the facilities were good (comfy bed, big TV, nice shower etc) but the decor was not my thing, garish designs and a running theme of Only Fools & Horses (which I'm not a fan of). A few slight problems like none of the clocks in the room were working (they were all stuck on 12) and the bedside uni had to be moved to be able to sit in the chair infront of the mirror, which meant there was a digital clock just hanging off the wall.

Very nice site, the only thing I did in missing EA. The customer deal is very dry and that's one of. The receptionist is from Galicia.

The hotel has easy access to the buses. However small rooms, from the photos on the internet seemed all a bit better than it actually is, and in 4 days we were there, it happened twice in the middle of the night and once in the early morning that the fire alarm was tripped and there was no explanation given.

Hotel was quirky but very basic. Rooms were tiny. Booked as a last minute thing the old Only Fools and Horses theme with some Cockney cheek made me book. Many many nationalities stay here and staff are gifted as I heard the speak many languages waiting on reception. Needs a bit of a touch up and a door man "bouncer" stood on reception didn't look right at all. Area is typical Outside the central bubble, run down and exspensive. All in all cheap budget hotel with a few parking spaces.

The room was in a terribly damp basement. The elevator did not always work. There is no hot water if you take your shower too late in the morning. There was a fire alarm for a few seconds one night but no explanation was provided to us. Once, there was dried blood on a "clean" towel. Still, the staff was helpful and professional. The maintenance of the room was adequate.

All staff seen hassled and too busy. First room was a windowless basement room, smelled of damp, very hot and no mobile signal. The decor on the head board said it was "Luvly Jubbly". It was definitely not. I was there on business and needed the mobile signal. I got moved to another basement room with a tiny window but at least some signal and it was much better. The whole place seems to be unclear on whether it is Del Boy themed, or a boutique hotel or some sort of holiday resort. As a result it feels really confused. At over £100 for one night it was overpriced. The one redeeming feature was that the food (though also confusing — lots of pizza and a selection of roast chicken with roast potatoes and that was it! ) was very tasty. I won't be returning in a hurry.

2 night stay room 231. First visit to London for my 14yr old daughter! Booked room to sleep 3. No room for cloths coats etc couldn't walk in this tiny room! bathroom was tiny! If you are a larger person no way book this room you'd physically get trapped in bathroom! Beds very comfy very clean … said on website 1.6 miles from city centre … nope 3.6 miles! iv a public transport phobia and love walking but stay was ruined by sore blistered feet! Would stay here again just me and hubby. I didn't eat here. But daughter had a pizza in restaurant and loved it.

The facade of the hotel was nice, the staff were helpful and friendly. However to get to the room we had to go outside to another building which was a bit of a hassle. The corridors between rooms were extremely cramped. The room itself was small but nice, it had everything I would have expected to have in it. The only fools and horses decor was a bit odd and felt tacky as the writing was unevenly spaced and the clocks didnt work. Overall it was fine, exactly what I expected for the money paid.

This was the worst hotel I have ever experienced! I booked the Peckham 6 months in advance and yet the receptionist (manager) looked somewhat surprised when our party of 6 people showed up. We had a reservation for a family room for 4 people and an additional room for 2. When we entered the family room at around 3 in the afternoon, exhausted after a turbulent intercontinental flight, we were instantly greeted by the loud sound of a jackhammer crushing a wall in the neighboring room. Nowhere was it stated by the manager, their website or elsewhere that there was construction going on in the hotel. We insisted to switch to a different room away from the noise, but supposedly all other family rooms were taken already and the only other option that was quite rudely offered to us was a dark, claustrophobia causing shoe-box with a small window facing the traffic jam on the street right in front of it. So, we went back to room with the jackhammer after the manager assured us that the noise will stop shortly and that the construction work will only be for a few hours per day. Indeed, the nerve wrecking noise stopped two hours later "already". Unfortunately, on our 2nd day in London our daughter became sick causing her to stay in bed. The jackhammer started exactly at 11:30am that day and our room was full of dust from collapsing wall fragments in the neighboring room. It wasn't until 4:40pm before the deafening noise finally stopped.

The meal was pretty good. The pizza was tasty. There is a large road but the personal was friendly. The rooms are small but nice. All in all it is very good.

Cleaning the floors, asking to move while you booking in. Room was clean comfortable. Air-conditioned and TV working. New restaurant is good. Fresh pizzas. Excellent.

I like to alert you to a dangerous issue we experienced this past weekend. We spend three nights in the Best Western London Peckham Hotel Saturday night around midnight the fire alarm in the outbuilding went off – fortunately a false alarm. The building has one fire exit stairways which leads to the street. All hotel guests went down this way. Unfortunately the exit door was broken and could not be opened, – no other way out. We arrived early at the door which put us in a position, where the following guests pushed down – fortunately the alarm bell was switched off at this moment and people turned around, returning to their rooms — otherwise it would have led to a dangerous situation. If it would have been a real fire with smoke, it would have been extremely dangerous/life threatening. We traveled with one child – he was terrified. After the alarm was switched off, I requested the hotel staff to fix the door immediately – they were somewhat reluctant and only acted after I made very clear that this situation was completely unacceptable and I would inform the fire brigade and the police. I checked the next morning and they removed the lock – which was good, but no permanent fix.

An incomparable SERVICE
The hotel itself is not exceptional but it is nice and clean. The rooms are also missing some lockers to store his clothes. Some do not have a great view but they are very quiet. And this hotel can be the best value for money in London at 25 minutes from the city center it is in a very lively and very meeting pot area. There are 2 bus stops next to the hotel and many shops and restaurants and snacks nearby.
The Super plus of this hotel is the staff very helpful and small care. They inform you about everything and answer all your requests. A kindness and friendliness that I had never seen. I thank them very much they made our stay unforgettable serious to their advice.
The one and only downside for me, accustomed to the breakfasts at the hotel type buffet was the lunch which I did not find quite varied and therefore for the 6, £50 requested. You will be offered two formulas.
We will return with great pleasure to the Best Western hotel and even eagerly.

The hotel has small but complete rooms and above all clean. The bathroom has a very large shower and the furnishings are new, there is a 40 ' Smarttv in each room and a kettle with cups and tea or coffee. It is a bit far from the center but is well connected by several buses that stop practically below the hotel. In the Vivinanze there are supermarkets (Lidl) and several street foods with affordable prices. I think it is a great solution to stay in London von a great value for money.

The hotel is located in an area was well served, services are basic but efficient. Cleanliness is excellent and the staff is helpful.
Comfortable bed and shower, very affordable price.
Finally I read that some have written that the Wi-Fi was paying but is simply not true, at least for my reservation. Check for security details before purchase!

Hotel itself is really nice, although a little further out from the city than we expected. Our room was teeny tiny though, with no mini fridge, and tricky to figure out power. Would probably stay again, but wouldn't be super excited about it.

Stayed here while on type1 diabetes clinical trials at kings college hospital. Rooms are very clean, The staff are very helpful and even upgraded my room due to the key card not working properly, I would stay again.

A little cold room.

Were there this weekend and I think it's very nice for "young travellers". Rooms are compact, but this is not bad because it is normally only to sleep there. Very friendly and helpful staff and nicely designed, and a good location. I think it's super.

The rooms were very small. The power went out twice.

Not a bad hotel for the price. The only problem is they say you don't need to book a parking space, so got there early to park then was told to move my van out the carpark as the spaces had already been booked.

The small room is really small but the shower and whole bathroom are ok. If some mind's the floor is also rly cold. Nice and helpfull stuff. Wi-Fi works well and I didn't have to pay for it. It's pretty clean and the bed is ok. Sound insulations in this hotel are "not gut" :P oh and we didn't have to wait when we came back to the hotel at 5 in the morning.

Being London, pretty decent value for money. Very well connected by bus to the Centre. Quarter of people working. Without any problems, do not do case who says he is in a bad neighborhood.

I had a most un-pleasant stay here. Following a theft of some of my property I reported it to the hotel desk and spoke to their security staff. It had been identified who the thief was, and they were most unhelpful in assisting me to recover my property. I ended up having to take matters into my own hands.

The room is nice and quiet, we can't hear the traffic. The room is clean. A great and cheap hotel.

Correct, the price should not expect something crazy, just what sleep, small, and poorly ventilated, however it is 30 minutes by bus from downtown, several lines bus (for victoria, oxford st. Holborn) provisions, I went there in August and he seemed to be cold during the night, I dare not imagine the winter because there was only an air conditioner no heating. Black neighborhood of London (racist refrain), but very friendly, no sense of insecurity, even at night.

Cleanliness is good enough. Pity that the Windows did pass water and wet the bags themselves flat on the sill. Wi-Fi 3 pounds for 24 hours!

Only good thing was the big shower apart from it being dirty. Floor was filthy, cleaned it with a towel. Had to wash the cups provided for tea as was dusty. View from the window was scaffolding and they didn't even shut properly. Very very disappointed!

Stay in Peckham Lodge was really really bad. First, the room was not clean at all, stinky, the smell was like in smoking room (it was not allowed to smoke), the services was very expensive and people in reception unfriendly, unhelpful. Terrible.

Tiny rooms, no closet and in poor condition
The curtain of a window does not close completely and filters light so you can't sleep well. The Internet connection is free of charge, breakfast too. The rooms are in very poor condition, broken beds, walls that lose pieces, lights that there work! The cleanliness is poor. You reach the city centre by bus in 40 minutes.

The hotel is simple. It's okay if you're going to spend a few days in London, using the bedroom only for sleep. I. E. Sales soon to the Center to visit things and come back at night.
In the rooms it's a tremendous cold because the outside air sneaks through the windows. Luckily there is a heating appliance, if it does not, Greenland.
In terms of buses is very well communicated, at least 7 different bus lines stop at the side.
But this neighborhood has no subway, only a train (Renfe type) station somewhat away from this hotel.
The neighborhood where it is (Peckham) is nothing nice, it is full of immigrants and the evening does not paint safe. But in the mornings has much life, many shops and is pleasant to take a walk.
In the neighbourhood you can do purchase perfectly at Lidl, Morrisons, Iceland, Poundland, etc. ; or eat and dine at Subway, McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, pizza, kebabs, etc.
In short, if you want something affordable and medium-low quality, and you don't mind to take to get to the Centre by bus almost 45 minutes every day, this is your hotel.

Good place, poor network covarage at ground floor.

Bad we arrived at the hotel at 12, 45 and were told the rooms nn would be available before the 14 making us pay an extra fee for the deposit. Very small room without closet poor housekeeping nobody at reception speak Italian with the consequence of having half an hours to figure out something. Next time I spend some extra money but certainly I I avoid this stress.

I was now in the Septeber 2014 here only the the rooms same a Hundehuette, then the are drrckig in the shower nor hair of the predecessors. This Hotel is not to recommend no not really.

Stay in Peckham Lodge was really bad — room was not clean at all, stinky, the smell was like in smoking room (it was not allowed to smoke), people in reception unfriendly, unhelpful, unpolite.

We were in October 2012 for a night there. Booking via HRS 49 £ for a night. The rooms had estimated 18° C, heating will not function. Blood stains in the bed, hair in bathroom, no wardrobe. Toilet ran continuously each 2x rinse. Breakfast was OK: Toast with jam/Nutella. Reception friendly, transport links great, with Bus Nr 12 is one in a half hour with Big Ben. Area is rather run down, but the people are all friendly. I am with the Hotel satisfied anyway, because I knew, what I get into.

Was only a couple of days there! I liked! Great Hotel — very cheap. Wi-Fi there also. Clean and modern. Breakfast costs 3.50 or 5.00 depending on. Though not quite centrally located but super easy to reach with buses. Everything will be fine! Happy again!
