Review of Travel Inn 1*

Where to start about this place! I suppose to start I would like to advice anybody who is considering staying here not to, I don't usually make complaints but I feel like I must warn anybody who is thinking about or has already booked to stay here NOT TO! This so called "hotel" is a rip off and a complete DUMP. I can only assume it use to be either a very horrible Hostel shelter or an ex brothel, theres crooked stairs and bendy shady looking corridors that seem to never end. Me, my girlfriend, my dad and brother booked up June 4th for the weekend both with "double" rooms. The room me an my girlfriend stayed it was disgusting, the carpet was like a jigsaw puzzle that had been glued together with horrible stains all over the floor, the bottom of the bed had stains all over it and there was crumbs all over the bed and sheets. There was a horrible plastic chair in the corner which look like it had been thrown out of Durham prison because it was broken! The "bathroom" was like a tiny cupboard you could go to the toilet and have a shower at the same time! The shower head was broken and so was the shower curtain rail, cold water came from the hot tap and vice versa! There was no soap or any hygiene product what so ever. As for my brother and dads room, they had the privilege of what was suppose to be a fridge which was black and moldy on the inside an you don't wanna know what was in the ice cube tray! They had no bathroom door, there was a hole punched in the wall, the bottom of the bed was covered in ripped wallpaper, stains the jigsaw like carpet again it was absolutely minging. There was no staff to be seen an whatever staff we happened to find didn't speak English. The walls are absolutely paper thin so none of us got any sleep and both me and my brother woke up with bite marks/spots are our backs (not just one) besting in mind we stayed in different rooms. We were suppose to have a bath, desk, ironing facilities, dvd player, heating, satellite channels, "carpeted", flat screen TV, hardwood/parquet floors, dinning area, wardrobe/closet, we got absolutely none of this! This place is fowl! PLEASE I ADVICE ANYONE WHO HAS BOOKED HERE CANCEL IT! This placed needs shut down and demolished.
