DONT STAY HERE! WHY? Let me share what I have seen in a short time. SAFETY: FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IS TURNED OFF! as you walk in the door you will see a console that alerts emergency services that the building is on fire. It will say system fault and should be beeping to alert the staff to turn back on but they turned off the sound instead. FIRE RISKS! On the top level there is a cupboard that houses the fuse box and other internal electrical systems, this for safety reasons should be kept clean and clear. Instead they crammed it sheets and are using it as a linen closet. During my second night stay the power to everything but the lights went out so I went down to the front desk. They told me that they couldn't do anything and they will send someone tomorrow (this is 6pm). I said no I can fix this and if you show me the fuse box I can do it for you. (not rocket science) after 10 minutes of annoying him he finaly got off his butt and ran up all of the stairs and without me even needing to do anything he fixed it straight away (he knew what was wrong but didn't want to walk up the stairs) This is how I saw the fuse board and cupboard. And un-insulated wires that could be ignited because they have nothing stopping any direct contact! WTF If you don't care about your safety then let me tell you about the service. — payed for a double bed and for the first two nights received bunk bed for the price of a better room — asked the bar for a glass of water and he told me to go upstairs to get one from the kitchen instead. (he didn't want to clean or serve me a glass of water! ) — Told me and my partner to get out of our room before the set check out time and I can return to after 3 in the afternoon, I asked about my luggage and if I can put it in another room. They told me no and that they would do it for me. Instead I came back after 8pm and my new room was left open. I freaked out thinking my luggage was stolen, instead no I find out they just couldn't be bothered to take it down the stairs because it was heavy! — I was Mmde to move out of where I was sitting for an hour because the receptionist wanted to eat on the table I was sitting on (most of the other tables were vacant — 2 guests while I was there complained to reception of there personal items in there bags going missing while they were away for the day (it was in there own personal room which no guest has access to) they were told rudely that they must have misplaced it. Obviously it had been stolen by the staff, and as I can see in previous reviews of this place it seems this happens a lot. -Showers above the first level ether don't have hot water or have no pressure as they are to high (two of them on lv3 both have no pressure nor heat) -the room on the top level for two people with bunk beds houses the hot water heater that turns on every time someone has a shower and is very loud (we were woken up every time someone used the shower) — Kitchen on lv1 is very dirty and not maintained, the roofing of the fridge is flaking off. — Most of the room furniture I have seen is stained and torn. — Bunk beds are really worn and misshaped — Wouldn't give us two keys for one of the rooms because they don't want to get them cut (its for a room for a couple with a queen bed. Your suppose to get two keys! ) Seriously I could keep going but I don't want to waste any more time on this place, just please if you read this review don't go there, and if you have anything to do with the local council. Please do a inspection as the are breaking the law with the building codes and is unsafe for guests and staff.
