We are more than disappointed and really pissed off!
Because of the big storm our flight was canceled and the hotel didn't want to know about it.
We wanted to reschedule the booking to a few days later, but the hotel didn't want to hear about it, so no compromise was possible.
Totally outrageous, the amount was withdrawn from our account one day after booking and 3 weeks before our arrival.
We didn't ask for our money back, we just wanted to rebook for a few days. The hotel was never fully booked, so it would have been possible.
Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding!

Two underground stations within 5 min walk. Close to Hammersmith (great shopping and many restaurants).
We stayed for three nights while visiting London for The Phantom of the opera (in Her Majesty's Theatre — highly recommend).
The only thing missing was some kind of vegetables, like cucumber or tomatoes, for breakfast.
We will stay there again if going back to London.

Small room but we'll layed out. Clean and tidy. I would stay here again for business or pleasure. Considering the hotel is in London, the price I paid was very reasonable: I was greeted by friendly staff and the check in was quick and easy. The first impression of my room was that it was clean and well presented. The bathroom was clean and had a very nice shower. Usual instant coffee and tea sachets were provided. There was a small safe and a hair dryer. Also a TV. Breakfast is self service and a little sparse but is more than adequate. Coffee is ground from a machine and is good. The food there is was presented nicely, utensils and plates were all clean. I am a small guy, 5 foot 4 and this room was fine for me. I think if you were 6 foot it might feel a little cramped. Just a side note: Don't worry when you see the staircase between the floors. The walls are bashed. In the past when I've stayed in hotels where the walls are bashed the rooms are poorly maintained as well. This is not the case here.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel. It's located fairly close to the West Kensington subway station. The rooms were small (the twin was more than enough for us, though) but very clean and nicely decorated. There was a working AC which was just wonderful and the staff at the reception was super helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely one night stay, the staff were friendly and the room amazingly comfy, the only thing I would change is by adding a cooked breakfast option as you have a lovely Breakfast room which would of been lush.

This is our last night before traveling back to Scotland in morning. Manager and staff very helpful. I was offered to have my room changed because of no lift but we were out most of the time here so I declined. Rooms clean and comfortable beds. No cooked breakfast but healthy options on offer like cereal and fruit salad, toast and croissant. Underground is a ten minute walk from hotel to take you to Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly etc. Taxi costs just under £20 from Victoria coach station to hotel W14 and takes about 15 minutes depending traffic.

Stayed in this hotel last night and this is the best hotel I stayed in for this price. Reception staff is amazing and they are more than happy to help with whatever you need. Room was very clean with modern finish. Bathroom was just great as showers (normal and the over head one) were just great! Again very clean. Bed was brilliant. Slept like a baby. The only downside was lack of lift (room was on the top floor) but reception offered to take my bag upstairs which was really nice. But also I've burned the calories from my take away=ideal. Definitely recommend this hotel. I will be definitely returning.

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay here, especially since the staff was extremely friendly and ready to help. Our room was wonderful as well just as the Location. The underground station is very close and there are a lot of nice restaurants around.

Nice price but cold staff and no elevator.

Breakfast was fine for price paid, however this was one of the worst hotels I have come across due to the unprofessional and deceitful nature of the staff. There was an initial mix-up with the booking so I called to explain. The person on the phone told me everything was fine, yet when I got there with my children, they denied having that conversation and insisted I paid £50 for an extra bed, ALONG with commenting unprofessionally on my children’s appearance (specifically weight). Even though I paid, THEY DIDN’T BRING THE BED. The general stay was uncomfortable as the rooms were unclean and some of the staff ignored us purposely for the rest of our stay. I felt as though my money was stolen so called to complain; yet during the conversation the staff HUNG UP on me. An absolutely hellish stay, and even without the staff there are much better quality cheap hotels in London.

A simple hotel but above what is offered in London in its category.

I think you can find a better hotel around the same area for the same price or only a bit more. The room was clean but there were hairs on linens. No elevator, narrow hallways with worn carpet. Bed was very comfortable, room climate control comfortable with nice cold AC during an unseasonably hot spring. Breakfast was okay — not much variety, low quality fruit, some pre toasted toast and yogurt. I accidentally booked an extra night as a result of a miscommunication amongst my friends. I know that the reservation was non refundable but sent an email asking if an exception could be made. I never received a reply. A reply would have been polite even if no exception was possible. I asked about it also at the front desk and was given the runaround. This was disappointing. The Hilton nearby is only a few pounds more and in retrospect I’d have just done that.

I guess the W14 wins on the price, position, quality matrix. It suffers from small rooms and a slightly out of town position, versus being a clean well run place that is not overpriced. As a moderately priced basic London hotel it's not a bad choice.

Good Hotel 2 steps from Piccadilly Metro line, small but clean rooms and very courteous staff; Breakfast without infamy and without praise. Overall I would recommend it for a weekend in London, but given the size of some please inform yourself for longer stays…

Clean and tidy Hotel… helpful and reliable staff.

We stayed for two nights in this hotel and we are fully satisfied. The very good bedding gives you a recuperative sleep after surveying London. The residential environment is very quiet and the carpet thick. The breakfast, which remains continental, is of an unbeatable value for money. You can then attack the quiet day. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the District and Northway lines, in 15 minutes to the city centre. In short, a good address.

Pleasant 5 nights stay at W14. I didn’t appreciate paying 25£ to change my room from double to twin but this is a manager fault and must be a reason for this. I agree with other comments that a railing for towels will be helpful in the bathroom and housekeepers should take care themselves about the notice about towels. I kept leaving my towels on the only hanger available and I had anyway fresh replaced towels every day. Well this is great, but not for pollution. Staff has been super friendly and helpful and room was clean and tidy. I didn’t like the window blocked for security reasons but at the end I had to accept it. Continental breakfast was also fine with a good selection and done fresh fruit aswell. Our room was facing the back yard so was really quite. The hotel is in a very elegant British street, close to a park and at short walk from the underground and a very busy road with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. Indeed a excellent value for money and definitely a place where I will come back with pleasure.

Very nice Hotel within walking distance of the Metro. The hotel offers room service every day, breakfast every day, room service fee. A really nice hotel, nicely decorated and even the people working inside are very polite and prepared. At the reception (open 24h on 24h) always available and prepared and, in case you need, can speak 5 different languages.

— : Worst breakfast ever (no choice at all! ). The waitresses don't hesitate making noise from 9.30am sharp (hoovering, cleaning tables and dishes. ). Housekeeping service far from perfect. Our short break holiday in London was very enjoyable, having a quality hotel made such a difference to our stay. In a great location, close to local pubs, shops, restaurants and Barons Court tube station. Also the reception staff in particular were very helpful, the room we had was comfortable, with a terrific shower, and breakfast was a great experience. Some guests were inconsiderate, slamming doors while we tried to sleep, that was the only downside. Well pleased with The W14 Kensington Hotel, worthy of this 5 star review. Stayed 3 nights 4-7 January 2017.

The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. However, the breakfast was poor. It was just croissant, toast, more simple pastries, sliced cheese and sliced ham. The pastries don't taste good at all. The croissants even taste strange. There was also cereal, yogurt and fruit as with the other breakfasts. They were normal. The internet was very unstable. It smells of Indian Dufträucher everywhere in the hallway, which I didn't like very much either.

The room is nice but breakfast was not as expected. Bread and toast really below average and not much choice. Stuff start cleaning even we are still eating. But overall the hotel is fine for the price paid.

Considering the price and location in central London, I was pleasantly surprised by the W14 hotel. Rooms were an average size, but we'll furnished. Definitely good for a solo business traveller. Breakfast was offered, and although I didn't try it — the selection looked appetising.

Location is good, the environment as a whole is OK, heating must actively inform the counter to open, and the staff service attitude is not good: 1.
Perhaps there is a misunderstanding of communication, we went back one night to find the room changed, and everything was left in bed, feel very poor, to the counter to inquire when the clerk only said the phone is not through so directly changed the room, but I really did not get the phone notice. 2. On the last day standing at the counter waiting for Uber, perhaps because of the road, the staff constantly white eyes on us, the feeling is really poor.

Friendly staff and clean, modern rooms. Fantastic shower! Room was fairly small but actually bigger than expected. Walls felt a bit thin — was woken up by the next room shutting their door! But otherwise a very good night's sleep… Breakfast was ample, but only continental was available. Fine for us, but a shame to not have an option for full English. No bar either, but reasonably priced bottled drinks at reception. Overall, for a short, cheap stay in a convenient location, it was very good and I'd be glad to return.

It is a very cozy site has a very good buffet the only downside is that it has asenor but the guy from Mntenimiento you allude to suvir the suitcases.

No doubt good location, but our room for 3 was 3 flights up, no lift, tiny room with bathroom opening ONTO, almost, the main bed. No, there's better available for that price… industrial type buffet breakfast. Never again, sorry but honest.

My third visit there. I like the calm location while being close to tube stations. A short walk to Olympia. The place is clean and friendly. The bathrooms are definitely great for England. Continental breakfast only.

Spent 4 nights at the W14 Hotel from 7/12 to 7/16, and it was a great choice. I can't stress how quiet the neighborhood & hotel are enough. It's located in a primarily residential street/area near a busy street, but once you turn the corner it's super quiet. There are two Tube stations within about a 5-minute walk to either. It's a great choice for relaxing after a non-stop day in London. Some people may find the rooms small, but our room was the perfect size for us. We had room 101, and it was perfect for the two of us. Also, it has a great view of the back garden. Our room decor was extremely modern and my style. The bed was comfy, and we slept excellent. I could write an entire review on the shower alone. Our room had the BEST shower that I have ever experienced. It's better than the custom built one we have at home. I'm actually going to look into ordering the same setup for our home. The one thing I think they should do is add one of those make-your-own waffle stations to the breakfast area. The choices are good, but a waffle station would be awesome. I booked this hotel as part of a package thru Virgin Vacations, so while the package had an excellent final price, I do feel that I paid quite a bit more than necessary for the room. I say this only because the advertised special & rates that I saw on the W14 website were quite a bit less than what I paid in the package deal.

We stayed in two rooms (6 people in our group) and very much enjoyed our stay. The breakfast area was very nice, the desk attendants were excellent, very helpful on every occasion. There were 2 Tube stations close by, and a great pub that we used quite a bit, Three Famous Kings. There was a nice grocery store close by also, for incidentals. We loved the nice patio area in back, and enjoyed some early evenings there winding down after busy days. I highly recommend the W14. If there was anything negative to say, it would only be that the rooms are quite small. The bathroom was small but highly functional (loved the shower! ) Since we were not in our rooms a good deal of time, the size was irrelevant. And there were plenty of common areas to use that we didn't need any more space. All in all, very pleased with our stay.

We really liked this hotel. The room was nice and clean, the shower is really good and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is situated on a quiet and lovely street and near to the tube station. Breakfast was also nice but with little variety of food. The staff was helpful and very friendly. We are going to recommend this hotel to our friends.

I travel for business and I have to say W14 is a very good hotel as it is the right mix between price and quality. Rooms are fine, we know very well usually in London you pay quite a lot for small rooms. This is not the case. Position is perfect! It is just 5 minutes walking from Barons Court station which is on the Piccadilly line, so directly connected to the center of London (just in case you are in London for visiting the city :) ). The staff at the reception is polite and nice. It was a pleasure to talk with those guys every time I went back to the hotel.

Good location within 10mins walk of olympia. Room was small but was nice and clean. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately the hairdryer in my room was broken. But overall I had a nice stay.

The room was very modern, loved the bathroom. We had a nice time here although the neighbours were a bit noisey and the smokers were out the front so we couldn't keep the window open. Mostly OK.

I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anybody! I booked a trwin room at this hotel, arrived on monday febuary 1st, two men at reception couldnt have been more rude from the beginning. Started asking question after question which I found very strange, and made me feel uneasy. Then told me that somebody must have hacked my email account, as the one I gave them wasnt me. They then handed me a sheet of paper, with some email that had apparently been sent by a man named (matt devonald) saying it wasnt him and who ever may have booked it might want to be apprehended by the police. This email account is 100% mine, and had clearly not been hacked by anyone. They then told my mother that her card had been used for fraud, and had been reported as stolen to the police. At this point wee clearly did not want to stay at this place, so left. (the money is yet to be refunded for the room). Have never been in such a strange situation, and would not wish it upon anybody. The two men wouldnt even give us their names when wee asked for them. Very strange. (wouldn't give this place 1 star, but have to if I want to review it…)

Terrible service. Almost ruined my NYE. Upon booking and prior to arrival spoke to the receptionist of my additional guest. Receptionist charged extra for the extra guest and when arrived to the room, it was so small that you could barely fit one person. When we complained he apologised and refunded the extra charge and my guest had to look else where. After staying for few minutes I could barely stay in this tiny little room with no air. I told the receptionist and he said they had over booked and no other rooms were available. I was assured my card will not be charged. It has been 4 days and I am still fighting for a refund. Terrible. Staff were rude, rooms were tiny, and not helpful AT ALL. I would advise anyone to pay a little extra and find some where else near by. I will definitely not be staying here again!

We stayed here because it was one of the most inexpensive options, and while it was a little difficult to find once we checked in we enjoyed our stay. Great cost-effective option that is close to the tube and not far from downtown.

Ignore older posts about this hotel, as it has either changed owner or been renovated. This is a great hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast and good rooms.

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

Booked a room for a family of 5 for 3 days. Ended up with a different random person in our room each night. Green algae on the taps, all electric sockets smashed, dirty bathroom. The only good thing was checking out and leaving.

I feel compelled to write a positive review because this hotel deserves a lot. I state that I stayed in a double room with bath. The rooms have been recently refurbished, are very welcoming, comfortable, the bathroom is designed in a modern way with a double shower cascading from the ceiling. I stayed to the end of September 2014 and were still ongoing renovations but have always had the foresight to start late morning and end in the afternoon, so no bother to the rest. If I really have to find fault, the breakfast could be a bit richer and last at least until 10-11 a. M and didn't finish at 9.30 a. M. Which is really too soon. The neighborhood offers little (a few pubs and supermarket) but in 5 minutes you can reach 2 metro stations (BLUE and green) which carry almost anywhere.
P. S. Don't listen to the pictures posted on the Google page, some other hotel or this before the renovation.

The hotel is basic, the rooms are not very big. The bathrooms are the critical point. I had booked a single room but on the first night, without warning, I found myself in a triple room with bathroom without toilet.
When I got the room I wanted, unfortunately the bathroom was tiny because the little space had been completely occupied by a bath of doubtful utility. The sink, for size, it was the one located on the trains.
However, staff was very courteous and helpful.
Find out if the renovations were completed because at the time (December 2013), the ground floor is subject to renovations that make it a real construction site.
The breakfast is poor.

The bathrooms were pretty awful, but breakfast was decent. Not too good "Hotel" There are better with same price.

DONT STAY HERE! WHY? Let me share what I have seen in a short time. SAFETY: FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IS TURNED OFF! as you walk in the door you will see a console that alerts emergency services that the building is on fire. It will say system fault and should be beeping to alert the staff to turn back on but they turned off the sound instead. FIRE RISKS! On the top level there is a cupboard that houses the fuse box and other internal electrical systems, this for safety reasons should be kept clean and clear. Instead they crammed it sheets and are using it as a linen closet. During my second night stay the power to everything but the lights went out so I went down to the front desk. They told me that they couldn't do anything and they will send someone tomorrow (this is 6pm). I said no I can fix this and if you show me the fuse box I can do it for you. (not rocket science) after 10 minutes of annoying him he finaly got off his butt and ran up all of the stairs and without me even needing to do anything he fixed it straight away (he knew what was wrong but didn't want to walk up the stairs) This is how I saw the fuse board and cupboard. And un-insulated wires that could be ignited because they have nothing stopping any direct contact! WTF If you don't care about your safety then let me tell you about the service.

I think it is the worst hotel i've ever been in. The breakfast is bad, the toilet is bad, the rooms are bad don't stay here. The toilet doors can't even lock, because it is broken! It is some indian people, who owns this hotel. And they will get seriously angry if make to much noise there.

EMBARRASSING EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL! je! Hotel is as it is called, but I have been in much better shelters and with a great deal, because this is what is lacking. My sister-in-law and I reserve 1 room of 4 beds, 1 day well, well the toilet was allegedly defective and had that go to the corridor, which apparently sees others broke because all were going to them, by certain apart from small, dirty, dirty towels, full of hairs, rust. 2 day after walking around London all day arrived at the room and we find ourselves with 2 guys and all their things in our beds and our missing suitcases, will he give us an explanation and tell us that we the had said, lie! We teach them the paper where put the reserve that we had, and nothing put us in 1 room for 6 people, in 3 beds, tiny, dirty, traps mattresses, all springs are nailed you. Told that were not agreeable and they told us that night was that being so and that the next day us the arreglarian and us would do a discount. Much to our regret we had to comply, because or you speak very well English or you're lost, we they laughed and did not nothing to understand you. The next day we went to see if they managed it and we found a person who should be responsible and very bad ways told us that you discount anything and that if wanted 1 Room 4 had that be each 1 into a room and gritandonos told us that if we had problems to us you were.
