Clean. Efficient. Good free coffee and espresso at front desk. Large rooms, decent beds and linens. Affordably priced. Good water pressure in the large shower.

Stayed at Kip with my other half for the first time. Our room was the small studio and we loved everything about it. The only downfall is that it’s always booked, wish they had more rooms like that ♥️ Definitely will stay again x.

I went for a birthday celebration trip. I requested a surprised decoration in advance, they provided the service according to your budget. I didn't confirm but took my own decorarions and asked them to put them last minute for me. They were still very helpful and happy to help. However one thing we didn't quite understand was, they didn't make the bed when they put the balloons there, it looked a bit awkward even though we had hung 'tidy the room' sign at the door. But in general we're still very happy and pleased with our stay. + The room is not big but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, free coffee and tea at the reception all day. Good transportation, 2 mins away from bus stop and close to overground station. — It's quite a ride from the centre, so you won't be able to go back and have a rest in between.

I've been to London several times and I like this neighbourhood. I stayed at the Kip for a week and had a pleasant stay. The room I got was roomy and clean. Just no kitchenettes and fridge. If you don't need any services, I would highly recommend this place. The location is good and transportation is good and also great coffee shops and bakeries w/in walking distance. Direct buses to go to the central and the train station is right next to the hotel. Be aware of train noise though. There are goods trains through day and night. There is a reason for providing ear plugs.

I got one of the rooms with a shared bathroom. The reception is really good. The customer service is amazing. The only issues I had were the normal issues that come with a shared bathroom. But, that is really on my end. I should have known when I booked the room. There is an option for a personal bathroom. The room was incredibly cheap. So, I am really surprised in the value per dollar ratio of this place. This place is 100% worth your money!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Clean and have everything what you need. Only problem is the size of the beds a bit short for tall people. Free drink during your stay. And close to public transport. Thank you!

Stayed at the Kip hotel in Hackney Central for nearly a month in different rooms from cabinet to big rooms. Extremely friendly and multilingual staff that go the extra mile to help guests. Very clean and good room facilities. Only shame is that it doesn't have a common or eating area room, but food is allowed in the rooms. To be honest there's an array of eating places, cafes in the area. Will stay again and do recommend.

Not very central, but well connected. In line with the price. Pleasant stay.

Treatment great. Rooms are clean and modernized, have had up to netflix. The area was good, with restorations in all sites, there was even a primar near. What I recommend.

Great staff, great location. Do I need to say more? My sister's favorite hotel to stay in. Super close from train station and bus stop, very convenient for a foreigner like me who doesn't like to walk much.

It’s basic, but it does it well. Seamless and charming check-in, clean room and complimentary tea and coffee at reception. The room itself was a bit too hot for me so I didn’t sleep too well; but the biggest problem was the there were no coat hooks in the tiny cabin room! As such I had to stash stuff all over the desk and floor — not good.

I was at first unsure how I would rate this hotel. But when you think about it, for the price and all of the things you get in return, you can't beat it. The smaller rooms are SMALL. Prepare yourself for a dorm like experience because not only is the room small, you share a bathroom. Since the place got such great reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. It is relaly clean, way less noisy that I thought it would be and near food and transportation. Be prepared, there is no gym, there is no bar and no phones in the room. But again, for the price and location, this place is pretty good.

KIP is the hotel room you need at the last minute. Reasonably-priced, modern, well-equipped and super comfortable. Staff are always friendly and serve a decent coffee at all hours! Love it.

Room was in excellent condition. Clean, modern design. Right next to the train station (that's both a positive and negative if you happen to have a window on that side). Free coffee in the morning when checking out. Friendly staff. Overall a good experience.

Fast becoming my favourite London hotel. Cheap, modern, really easy to get to (right next door to Hackney Central station) — ideal for a night crashing in London in one of the cabin rooms. Haven't tried the bigger rooms, but they look good too.

Small rooms, but so much cheaper than anywhere else. If you can handle the space there's really no reason not to go for it. Tea and coffees from the reception are complimentary, and it's right on the back of Hackney Central so easy transport access in and out of the centre. Happily go again if I'm going to London solo.

Super tiny room with no window but good value hotel. Good location next the hackney central station. Surrounding businesses are very hip. Recommend grabbing a bite and drinks at Oslo next door. Amazing staffs and very nice coffee services all the time while you're staying.

Good location, small but well appointed room and delicious coffee available from reception. Also super close to the rail station, with a good overground service into central London. Excellent base for a weekend in London.

Clean and modern. You hear the train a lot of your room is on the second floor so that might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. Wish they had coffee in the rooms, but you can always get a good espresso at reception.

Good stylish hotel tucked away from the busy London city centre. Really comfortable rooms albeit small. However, by the end of the day, I come back to my room to rest and it provides just that with adjustable lighting and small personal TV sets. Friendly staff too.

My fiance and I LOVED Kip Hotel! It was the most stylish hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff helped when we asked for dinner recommendations. We decided on Oslo since we got a 15% discount if we showed our waitress our Kip card. Free coffee and tea was actually pretty good.

The location is not the safest and there was a bit of confusion as they share the building with travel lodge. There were far far too many people sharing that bathroom and with strangers you can just imagine how it can get. However the bathroom was clean to start and the staff were lovely and helpful. Good for a one night stay alone but not luxury. Nice TV and complimentary headphones but I would steer clear of using them for general hygiene reasons. Honestly not all the bad but for the same price I have stayed in better places with similiar set up. It probably is the cheapest and best for Hackney though.

We LOVE this place. Our family was looking for accommodation close to the Olympic Park for a good price and I would definitely return to this place and recommend to friends without hesitation. Rooms were contemporary and clean and well equipped with kitchenette and all mod cons. Tea and coffee available 24hrs at the lovely and welcoming reception. No breakfast served but 2 good cafe options 30 seconds walk away. Excellent public transport links to Olympic Park and to cental London. For the price we were very happy.

Hotel Express, no frills, clean, just and necessary for people who seek simplicity and practicality.

Very simple and clean, with most of what you need. Asked for an iron and hair dryer to be brought to room, but never came. Bathroom was difficult to get in and out of due to configuration of the doors. Room was a little too cold with no way of controlling this. Earplugs were a nice touch as it sounded like there was a generator next door when I was promised a quiet room at reception. Bed was comfy. No parking.

Decent location, rooms as described on the website and tailored for the size you actually need (some are really small so check what you book). Also THE cleanest hotel I've ever seen, remarkable how well cleaned it is. Would definitely recommend it.

I have stayed here twice now, and both times have been pleasant. The staff on reception are very friendly and helpful the rooms are small but enough for one or two nights. Comfy beds, clean and quiet plus Netflix. Perfect!

The service deserves 5 stars. I'm giving it a 4 due to how tiny the room was. I figured it was tiny but there was no room to move! The temperature of the room was decided by the hotel & it was warm all the time. Sharing a bathroom is always a bad idea but it thankfully wasn't a nightmare. I could see if you had to be somewhere and someone was hogging the bathroom, or Heaven forbid you had to go and it was in use! But again, the price was very nice, room was clean & the employees were very nice and helpful! You get what you pay for!

The prices are too high for what they offer. The small rooms have a 1.80m length bed that goes from wall to wall. The bed was enclosed by 3 walls and one of them had a window facing the tracks. It was not possible to sleep there. We were lucky we could change that after one night. Don't get this type of room if you are tall.

Noisy, small beds, overpriced, more like a hostel, trains passing by all night long But you get earplugs! Thanks Would not recommend.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is good but the rooms are incredibly basic and cheap, and ridiculously noisy. Overpriced.

Overpriced, tiny, noisy, no window in our room, but good location and clean. The hotel next door was less than half price with bigger rooms and windows for each room.

Very clean modern with everything that's needed. Please surprise. Only let down is no tea or coffee facilities in the room although available from reception. Otherwise really nice hotel.

Brilliant rooms and lovely staff. Perfect for a short stay in London when all you need is a place for sleep. And right next to a station for easy travel around London.

Small rooms, but clean and cheap!

The room was clean. The coverage was thin. Towels and soap / shampoo were provided. There is an air conditioner programmable. The walls are very poorly insulated for sound. Of the mouth, the ears were provided.

Lovely bed and staff. Only negative is the bathroom — sliding door with huge gap so feels like you're going to the look in the same room as your partner. If it wasn't for that, it would be a perfect little hotel.

Special Hostel concept, fairly small rooms and Spartan furnishings, but functional and clean and very good price/performance ratio. No Breakfast, no Restaurant. Hot and cold drinks and small Snacks are available at the 24-hour front Desk to occupy. Very friendly staff. The room was very noisy (ear plugs are already in the room :-), the environment is not very Chic, right on the Overground train station (similar to the "S-Bahn").

The hotel facilities themselves were excellent. However, guests in the room next door playing drum and base until 3am and the Overground line being directly outside of the window did not aid a good night's sleep. Ear plugs are provided (genuinely), I guess for this same reason.

Rooms are lovely and comfortable. It does overlook the train station but we didn't find it noisy at all and it makes it a very easy trip into Central London. All the staff were lovely and they even had free coffee and tea which was a lovely bonus!

Stayed the night here on the 17th september 2016, really dissappointed, we booked a double room with on suite, we booked on line and paid for the room straight away, email saying that all we need for booking is the pin they have sent and booking reservation, so I left my card back in sheffield so that I didnt run the risk of pick pocketing, to then find that even tho they had taken the money they still need my card to finalise the reservation, so made that we couldnt have the room, so I had to use what spending money we had to pay for the room, to be met by snotty staff after 3 hour journey, they say that parking is £7.20 for the day but thats not true, theres 10 spaces which is for the rail way station so you are lucky if you get a spot, and then it cost £2.80 a hour. What should have been a double room was so small the mattress was like sleeping on speed humps in the road, it was so uncomfortable, the walls are paper thin, and the floors are all tiled, that you hear every bodys foot steps, the only good points was that it was quiet clean, nice decor, and the shower was nice, but not worth the £150 we paid for one night. Will definatly not recommend these.

I enjoyed my stay in the small single room. The service was great and staff was very friendly. The only things were that I could not adjust the aircon myself (my room didnt have a window) and one shower and toilet for 5 people did mean I had to wait. But the facilities were clean and very good.

Cool design, clean and nice staff. I was in a shared bathroom room. The room was tiny! I had a window, so I didn't mind. However we had a very gross bathroom user for a few days and that was a bummer. Rooms need more storage (hooks or small shelf)
