Very tired rooms and bathroom below standard.

Needs a refresh as room was very tatty and worn but breakfast made up the disappointment.

This place is a bit of a disaster really, the room has a separate loo to the shower/bathroom, which would be ok if it had a wash basin! Beds uncomfortable, place generally tired. That was the good bit, the restaurant for breakfast was awful. Don't really know where to start, no cups for tea, no English tea bags, had to wait for clean cutlery, food was, cold, no eggs, bacon was horrible, tables were not even set. Also asked for a twin bedded room and got double, room too hot, bar freezing cold and needed a jacket on! Would not stay here again, bad advert for Novotel hotels.

Whoever thought of the ridiculous layout of the shower room and loo (WITH NO BASIN)! in 2 separate areas! Talk about E. Coli! Disgusting! Breakfast was a farce, staff totally uninterested walking about ignoring dirty tables and not cleaning or resetting them! Guests keeping in asking for cutlery, cups, etc etc as none replenished, would never stay here again.

Very dissatisfied already. Asked for sofa bed to be made up prior to arrival both on booking and on online check in yesterday and it hasn’t been done. On arrival asked for soya milk, reception staff said ask in the kitchen. But made no further effort to help. We eventually found a member of staff near the kitchen who checked fridge and checked bar, which was unstaffed despite allegedly being open, and found rice milk so no soya available. This milk tastes sour. Not all lights work. Reception staff didn’t greet us before I said we had a booking, there were no smiles or offers of help. We were given room key and told what floor it was and asked if we wanted to buy breakfast. So ten minutes and I advise at these prices go elsewhere, this hotel is worse than travel lodged and premier inns I’ve stayed at where customer service and helping is top priority. Building work ongoing to the roof judging by the scaffolding outside, we should have been told this was happening. Glad it’s k my one night, I’ll never be back.

Just near the train station… staff is very helpful, approachable and friendly… nice, quiet place.

Reception staff was extremely helpful when I arrived. Had to wait a little for room but they kept my bags so I could do other things until my room was ready. Great to return.

This is home from home for me. I've been visiting for seven years and always had a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean and the staff always helpful.

The hotel is very nice, with clean and functional rooms and very low prices. It is located next to the station and therefore very well connected with London (10-15 min from Tower Bridge) as well as with Greenwich city centre and the main services in the country. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful, I recommend including it, there is a gym and several computer stations and consoles with games. It is definitely very family-friendly.

Beautiful hotel with large and functional rooms. Very clean, staffalways very helpful and friendly. There are gym sits and play areas, which are also very useful for those travelling with children. Very good breakfast with wide choice and well-organized buffet to be easily accessible even in times of greatest crowding. Good bar with low prices.

This is a nice hotel right from when you arrive at reception. The receptionist were very good and really helpful. The room was nice it had the railway station outside but that wasn't a problem with the hot weather it made it feel and sound like ltaly. The bar staff were exceptional and very happy. The breakfast was up to the usual high standard of Novòtel. Recommend it highly.

Great location. DLR station is right next door. The breakfast is awesome. Staff friendly and effective. Hotel stay was very pleasant.

Average at best. The executive room has the toilet by the door with the sink by the bed. Not convenient for not disturbing your partner at night. No room service menu. Breakfast tea and coffee is serve yourself from a catering pot. Not ideal. No decaf tea. Parking is hard, with very limited spaces. The sign outside doesn't indicate if the car park is full with no way out without a token from reception. Can't say it will be on my list.

It was my girlfriend and I'm first time staying overnight in London (and in England in general). I gotta say, the hotel definitely set a good impression. The staff were very polite and know how to drum up a conversation. The rooms were very clean and we'll maintained too. The food from their food service was also delicious! All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in London.

Been here twice, first time for five nights in May 2018 then two nights in late May. Everything was excellent with staff going out of their way to help. The room was very clean and comfortable and the full English breakfast topped off an excellent stay. Will definitely return to this hotel and would highly recommend to all.

Good hotel for business purposes. Has all the necessities for a few nights stay. It's right next to the station which makes it easily accessible by public transport. Restaurant menu choice is a bit limited but good quality food.

When arriving the front desk was very helpful with providing us local information, maps, as well as holding our luggage until our room was ready. The room was good as expected. The location is next to the Greenwich train station which makes it convenient to get to downtown London.

Clean rooms, great facilities and wonderful location. Only problem is that housekeeping are so eager to rush you out of the room to clean it that they came in twice. Once while we were sleeping and again while I was getting dressed.

Hotel in Greenwich, located im adjacency to the train station, just 8 minutes by train from London Bridge station. Clean, organized, BUOM value for money.

Just a bog standard hotel. Comfortable & clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is the price they charge for breakfast was ridiculous. £16 each for a buffet breakfast… but the hotel is in London so I suppose you would expect it. Just around the corner is a Wetherspoons which do a great cheap brekkie for half the price. Great location, very close to the o2 arena.

Very clean and nice hotel… Also food was very good… A star deduction due to the less good insulation of the windows. The train in the morning morning were very good to hear.

Good hotel outside the hustle and bustle of London but next to the station which makes it very comfortable to go downtown.

Had a very pleasant stay here with good service and all the mod cons you would expect from any well respected hotel chain. Will definitely use Novotel again.

Mid-high-level hotel, located in a pleasant district of London. Perfectly connected: Metro, bus, train a few meters from the lobby.
Clean and comfortable rooms. No traffic noise even with windows on the street. Friendly and helpful staff, also a hostess who speaks Italian. I did not use the restaurant inside. The price of the rooms is correct while it seems a little high that of the breakfast but around the hotel there are no shortage of cheaper locals.

Nice, clean friendly staff, reasonable rates on certain days. Pet friendly at an extra charge. Car parking is limited, but reasonable considering the Pay and Display charges.

Great location, right on the DLR — docking light Railway.
Whether with the tube or over the Thames with the water taxi. Ideal starting point for the city and all the sights.
Staff friendly and helpful. Partly also German-speaking (if from Stuttgart) food, drinks top only it would be nice to have buns in the morning. But otherwise international and for everyone.

Pet friendly! I took my dog on a walk with me to meet my family who were staying there, we sat in the restaurant and got buffet breakfast! Pretty decent selection featuring some naughty little waffles.

We stayed 3 nights because the hotel is convenient and conveniently located near the train station for S-Bahn and Subway. Rooms are convenient, the staff was exceptionally friendly. The building is a bit older but everything is very clean. Nearby there are some decent pubs and bars. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel next to the station. Gym and sauna area isn't big but then again, very few guest use the amenities. Good inclusive breakfast but dinner abit pricey but quality meals. I can say great for business trip into London, transport connection is great also. Enjoyed my stay and recommend it.

Nice hotel ideally situated bang next to Greenwich Railway/DLR. Rooms are of a good standard, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Some noise from main road at front and trains at the back but at an acceptable level. Have stayed here several times to visit relatives in the area and will keep returning!

Super friendly efficient and welcoming staff. Well situated, within walking distance of Greenwich. Small parking, therefore not always available. Nice rooms comfortable bed.

The hotel is very beautiful and the location is perfect! The neighbourhood is super quiet but it's next to the train station which connects Greenwich to Central London. Definitely the best is the front desk staff, specially Alicia who was very kind to us and got personally involved to find some personal items we forgot at the hotel. I definitely hope to stay over again!

Very friendly staff, rooms are also very modern and clean, all in all a great accommodation with direct "Fast train" connection to the city.

Excellent staff — helpful and caring — who looked after my husband after he had fallen badly in central London shortly before we arrived at Novotel, Greenwich. He had a badly bruised and cut leg, but First Aid kits were quickly brought, which yielded wipes, bandages and plasters at the time, and over our 2-day stay in a nice room (427) with a welcome hot bath! One staff member even went down, in the rain at 8.30pm, to the nearby station to tap out our Oyster cards which we had forgotten to do in our haste! Very convenient location for the sights of Greenwich — highly recommended hotel.

Next to the DLR stop, so convenient, clean hotel, great breakfast, nice staff. The rooms of acceptable size.

Nice and pleasant stay. The hotel itself is very comfortable and the room was an excellent size with a very comfy and large bed. However the air con didn't seem to have any effect leaving the room warm, especially overnight. Also the toilet in the room was totally detached from the bathroom leaving you to have to walk back through the room to wash your hands after going to the toilet. Not very hygienic and rather tricky in the dark. Overall though a pleasant stay and a very good location being right next to Greenwich station.

We always stay at Novotel Greenwich when we go to the O2 and are always very comfortable, the staff are all very friendly and efficient.
Made the mistake this time by going for an online upgrade offer at a reduced price and were disappointed. Should have looked into it more carefully — lesson learned!
We will still be using Novotel whenever it’s possible.

Thieves in the hotel. They take advantage of doors that open up to a menu card (they communicate adjoining rooms without a lock). They do not ask for identification from British citizens, so it is impossible to track down criminals who enter from adjoining rooms. They stole the safe from my room (they tore it out of the furniture and took it, Literlamente). Outstanding attention from the reception staff but poor attention from the manager hotel who just wanted us to delete the Ipad (which was very suspicious and we blocked them). Management evades responsibility without indicating how to make the claim for the subtracted. After collecting ATM receipts (ATM) and purchase receipt of stolen items, I was told that they would indemnify and send an application for me not to claim after I was paid the price (with a big discount on the value of the items) and never again They answered or continued the payment process. This could go through a common robbery, but the problem and what irritates me is that the hotel manager acknowledged having been speaking at the train station (next to the hotel) with an individual who possessed a purse where he could have the stolen safe. This gave me to think if the comment was preventive because he was talking to the thief outside the hotel after the robbery and feared to be captured by the security cameras of the station Greenwich train.

If you want to stay in Greenwich, I would definitely recommend this place. My daughters received free unicorns from the staff when we arrived. It looked like a mixture of funky, cosy and modern. The staff were so compassionate and we enjoyed every single day here. The bathrooms were wonderful.

Got the room cheap. Good job as not worth what they normally charge. Dirty smelly bathroom, shower was rubbish, light switches broken, not enough coffee or milk for 2 and weren’t given the room
We booked. My son has a sofa bed and not a bed. Sports bar next door was really noisy.
Cleaner just let herself into our room at 9am! Was ok just to crash out, but don’t expect anything else!

Very happy with our stay. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the Reception staff. The room was spotlessly clean and well laid out. We had problems adjusting the heat control on the shower and the Receptionist went personally to check and then called maintenance. However, as it turned out there was no fault and we just needed to adjust the control more fully. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Every issue I had was resolved quickly and easily. + You can get £5 coupon in exchange for your room not being refreshed (none leaving day) Room I stayed in Executive room. + The bathroom and toilet were separated — There was no sink in the toilet + The bathroom had both the shower and bathtub. — Shower was a bit to small — The water didn't have a consistent temperature. It was worm one minute and very hot the other — Room needs more outlets, there was only one behind the TV (+ you can ask for extension cord in the reception) + good bed and pillows + I only got non-paid things in fridge :) + Nice view Breakfast + lot of choices + cleanness (mostly) — glasses can be little dirty (probably a dishwasher problem) + mostly not crowded + great view.

Very nice hotel in a unique location!
With the exception of the metro, all public transport is right next door, bus, train, DLR, liner.
Rooms are pleasantly large with bathtub and separate shower.
Breakfast buffet with traditional English food and everything else (lots of fruit, pastries, spreads, etc. )
Coffee tasted, too.
Very friendly staff (the Londoners generally experienced to be very friendly) helped you with everything, were able to check in by 11h and leave our luggage there even longer on the day of departure.
All in all a great holiday, that next again Novotel-Greenwich and then a little longer than 3 nights.

I had left one hotel and came to the Novotel around 9am expecting to just leave my luggage and wait for check in. However, the lovely lady at the desk checked me in right then and there. "That way you can rest for a bit before you have to go back out again. " She was right and I was very grateful. My only compliant is that the food in the restaurant and bar area could be better. I ordered a steak and half of it was nothing but fat. Overall I had a lovely time at the Novotel Greenwich and will definitely be back.

Great location, on site parking good. Staff very friendly and helpful however our room experience wasn't so good and we would think twice about booking a Novotel again. The bed was extremely hard, we have a hard mattress at home but this one was like concrete therefore we did not get a good nights sleep. Only one flat pillow each, we checked in wardrobe for additional pillows but there were none. We did not ask staff for more pillows as it would have delayed us going to bed we therefore used the towels to raise our pillows up. The separate toilet is very small and has no wash hand basin in there. Door cards kept cancelling out, not sure why as we kept them away from our mobiles.

The hotel was very basic in comparison to the other Novotel hotels in Europe. Two starts standard. The room didn't have bottle of water and flavour tea selection. Very basic breakfast with small selection of healthy option again I asked for peppermint tea and they couldn't provide. They really need to catch up on 21st century. You could hear trains in the morning. The staff was polite.

Room was large and comfortable, loved the bath (and particularly the deep tub). The little amenities like the Nespresso machine and the toiletries in the bathroom made me feel very comfortable. Food was excellent in the restaurant, and staff were well versed in dealing with food allergies (and made dealing with my rather unusual one very straightforward). Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Not a bad location. Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and tidy and the shower was great. It was also nice to have the toilet in its own room rather than the bathroom. Not sure if this applies to every room.

The room was clean, comfortable and — unusually — the temperature was ideal even without having the window open or the air conditioning on. The only minor drawbacks were: the bath towels were small and seemed to be very old; the toilet paper was rather harsh and of poor quality. The breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. The dining area was attractive and pleasant to be in — again, with a vey good temperature. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and helped to make our stay very enjoyable,, particularly the lady on the check-in desk who went out of her way to assist us with our luggage and make sure we had maps and information about the local area. Warm, comfortable, peaceful. Great position for a London hotel — a lovely river boat journey to get to the hotel from Waterloo station. We slept really well in comfortable big beds in the twin room. The staff were wonderfully friendly and professional. My son and I had a really fabulous time. Thank you — we had a great stay.

Our stay in the structure was pleasant, the staff proved to be very helpful and welcoming in our. Comparisons, especially a girl from the front desk who spoke Italian. We were also very pleased with the buffet breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. Congratulations!

We were greeted with courtesy and warmth.
Mrs. Elisa is working at reception who made us feel at home.
It has always been shown to be helpful and courteous to every request made.
The children were treated by real stars, so much so that Mr. Ra Elisa has not failed to dedicate their time playing.
We had dinner (at the card) at the VS restaurant and were satisfied with the tastes of all the diners.
The rooms are large, well cared for and always in order.

It was a very nice Hotel with a great breakfast. Only drawback, as always in England, the lack of bidet in the bathroom.

Very nice staff, clean room with everything you need (the tea with the biscuits was very welcome to our return in the evening after a day of sightseeing in London), breakfast plentiful. Also the hotel is easily accessible from London, with the station immediately on the corner. And even Greenwich is absolutely worth a visit.

This is a great hotel in a great location directly next to Greenwich station DLR and in walking distance to Cutty Dark, Greenwich Pier and everything else in Greenwich. Good restaurant and breakfast, comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.

Brilliant, right next to the dlr train station, access to underground few stops up on jubilee line. We had a very clean room, at the back, 3rd floor, no noise. Very comfortable bed, plenty of room. Separate toilet, separate shower, plus bath. Plenty of hot water. Thermostat for heating, warm room, lovely. Breakfast in roomy sun filled dining area, everything to choose from including fresh scotch pancakes you make. Very good overall experience, will definitely book novotel again.

Next to the railway station. Very convenient for visiting Greenwich. Near to the town centre and all the touristic sites. Overall staff were excellent. Room was ok for an executive room. Lost 1 star as I found a long hair in the toilet and 1 on the desk. There were stains on the sofa and the bathroom smells of sewage when emptying the sink.

Staying here with my company! Couldnt have a better business stay! All from the the main entrance, front desk service finishing with a simple good morning relation with the housekeeping was perfect. Thank you Novotel!

Genuinely the worst hotel experience we have ever encountered. Rude staff on the telephone when we called to make an enquiry about documents required for our stay. My partner was blatantly hung up on on 3 occasions by the supervisor, Vania. She was too cowardly to be truthful about this to her manager, Christoff who completely patronised my partner by implying that we may have gotten the wrong end of the stick. There is no true mystery here, somebody doesn't simply get hung up on 3 times by accident! After dealing with rude staff for over 30 minutes Christoff agrees to upgrading our superior bedroom for an executive room. He put this to us in writing via email. We arrived at the hotel in the evening after a long day of work only to be looked down upon as soon as we arrived. The staff behind the counter were already aware of who we were as the people on shift earlier had clearly been gossiping so we were instantly made to feel awkward. The general manager on shift, Florian checked us in. My partner asked him if the keys we were handed were in fact for the executive room we had been upgraded to, to which he replied that it was. We enter the room only to find it to be a standArd superior bedroom. We go back downstairs to question this and are told bare faced lies by Florian that the room we are in is in fact an executive room. We go back upstairs and after roaming the website it is blatantly apparant that we are in a superior room.

Great location right on the doorstep of Greenwich rail and DLR station and at the heart of Greenwich town centre. I haven't stayed here as a guest but have attended social events and the bar here and I've always been impressed with the furnishings. The toilets are also very nice. Highly recommended even as a place to stay when visiting London with the station being so close you can get to central London in about 15 mins or London Bridge in 10 min.

It is a nice average city hotel tea making facilities along with coffee and lounge seating the staff are precise and helpful. A nice hotel but nothing particularly striking about it.

What can I say after visitng this property year after year? — product — being amazingly refreshed — rooms, gym, some parts of the lobby — service — Front Desk and Bar Teams are so proactive in their behaviours! — new events — music at the bar apparently every 2 weeks. Jazz night few days ago with amazingly good mojito. Flamenco coming up…

Excellent hotel with a fantastic location. The staff are extremely courteous and every attention shown. Rooms are clean, comfortable and superbly equipped, perfect for a city break.

Had my international passport, wristwatch and bag stolen from room 334. Terrible experience. Will neve stay there again. Be careful and dont go with your valuables. No CCTV in hallway — porous security. The manager was unconcerned and offered 20% discount while I was stranded in London without a passport, my watch and a bag. Terrible experience. Have instructed lawyers to bring a claim.

The place is nice and clean, just surprised that when I arrived the staff at the reception informed me that I was lucky to have a room although the hotel have confirmed my staying earlier and payment was already done! … Aside of that … Everything went fine…

Nice room, excellent service. Have to pay for Wi-Fi which is also not of the highest quality.

Clean and tidy. Stuff were not really friendly, but food is great. if you will have a backyard room then it will be a little bit noisy, because of the rail station. But I Love Greenwich. I simply Love it.

Lived 110 days most pieces in the hotel and the only drawback was the small closet. Otherwise everything's great.

Smart and did the job nicely, no surprises.
