I stayed here for my first year of university. From the day I moved in I was told that if there were any faults anywhere in my room to let the staff know within 24 hours so that they could rectify and fix it. To which I listed that my heating in my radiator didn’t work along with other things, they fixed the other things but never mentioned my heating. When I enquired about it I just got told I never said anything. I kept going back to reception to try and sort it but they didn’t believe that I had no heating due to the snow and was just laughed at by the staff. Still to this day there is none. Apart from bad staff and faults everywhere and the impulsive and loud “cleaners”. It is local and very close to Greenwich, right next to the dlr train station which is handy and as far as student halls go it wasn’t loud. Kitchen and rooms were a nice size and quite spacious, is on the pricey side though. However if your choice is between this and Cutty Sark halls, I would recommend this as cutty sark is a dump with rats and fire alarms going off every night. Overall it is not too bad, good experience with a good location but staff and “cleaners” are rude and unknowledgeable about the place.
