Soo much air freshener its hard to breath. When I asked for cheff non existant food embarrassing. Apparently no pint glasses. Do I need to continue. Oh the food. Tesco hot counter is much better and they just dont care when told.

Very decent hotel. Courtesy staff but nothing more. Breakfast is served as a buffet; It is plentiful; on the other hand for lovers of good bread is missed.
Our room was nice, but very hot as only the common areas are air-conditioned. A tip: hotel to avoid on Saturdays as there are often receptions and you can hear the "basses" of the music that reverberate in the rooms.

Very comfortable hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is excellent. Easy walk to the train station.

Great place with lovely rooms. Quite and peaceful really enjoyed my time at the hotel. Stuff members were friendly and polite.

Stayed at Antoinette Hotel many times. On this occasion we were given a very small room which turned out to be very noisy from 6am the following morning. Staff talking and coaches boarding etc. However the staff were wonderful and gave us a lovely quiet room for our second night. Although the hotel is tired looking the breakfast is brilliant and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Well I have to say it was excellent staff so helpfull breakfast to die for I am really hard to please but in this case give credit where credit is deserving highly recommended.

Didn't disappoint? Large very clean room, helpful happy staff, we over looked lovely gardens. Breakfast fab couldn't ask for more, restaurant good very tasty and good value by London prices and staff again very pleasant. A very happy experience will come back again.

Nice place to stay if you need to be in the area. Won't say it's the best hotel in the world but it's got good staff and the keep a tight ship.

We could not fault the Antoinette and its staff at all! We had our wedding reception here and myself, my husband and our guests had nothing but praise for the evening from start to finish! Staff were very attentive and would check that everything was going smoothly and that we were happy. Rebecca, our events manager was outstanding! She handled everything with ease and was very responsive via email also. Her and her team set up the room exactly how we wanted and everything was clean and professionally handled. The food was amazing too. Our hotel room was big and clean and check out was pleasant and all of our belongings and cake were returned to us swiftly! The breakfast buffet that was included was lovely and friends and family that stayed there for the wedding had no complaints either! Would definitely recommend this hotel for functions and overnight stays!

A seriously outdated hotel in both decor and room furnishings. I stopped here for one night on a business trip, and it barely sufficed, so condolences to the family who I saw at breakfast. The reception is tidy, and was probably modern a few years ago, but go up a couple of floors, and the walls are papered in woodchip. The room was adequate (just), and the shower was okay once the pump kicked in. Food was mediocre, both for evening meal (I had a chicken burger — don't bother) and breakfast. However, the staff were excellent — very friendly and helpful, both in reception and the restaurant, so that was the one saving grace.

A nice hotel on the edge of Kingston Upon Thames, set back form the main roads so it is nice and quiet with little traffic noise. The restaurant and Bar are very good and prices are reasonable. The hotel supports / has meeting rooms which we have used several times for both business and charity events. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Attended for a VSO training day. Lunch was a good buffet and rooms clean and spacious with plenty of coffee. Thermostat was a bit odd. Some rooms were freezing and others really hot.

Nice place, I thought it was very clean and cozy. Not upscale, not terribly pretty, but a good place with its own character. Definitely worth a stay!

Overnight stay, the room was large and comfortable. A bit too warm, but otherwise good service. Staff where very helpful.

The food wasn't very good and the alcohol was too expensive but it was a fun night.

Location is great for the Kingston area. 10 minute walk into town center, 2 minutes from the Uni, 15 minute walk to Surbiton station which is only a 20 minute train ride from Central. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the Thames is nice to walk along. Closest Tourist Attraction is Hampton Court Palace which is nice and walkable distance. Rooms are small but comfy. Nice beds, but the rooms themselves are minimal. The bathrooms only supply a combined shampoo and shower gel so if you need something more make sure you bring it or buy it nearby. Besides being minimal it is very clean and definitely worth the money. If you get the main building, there is a lift. But while there isn't one in the garden view building, they have very nice balconies. Service is always great. I've stayed here three times over the last five years including a long term stay when I came over for Uni and was looking for a Flat. The breakfast is phenomenal and the staff is always very helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Definitely a great place to stay in southwest London.

Clean and friendly. Staff pay attention to detail. Did find some areas with dust… on top of door frames etc. Mentioned it to what seemed a duty manager and he said he would deal with it and he did. Good beer and usual London prices. Car park free of litter. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Went to a private party. Has large car park and good baby changing facilities. The staff where more than helpfully.

Nice intimate venue with nice garden. Great service from the catering staff.

Room decor is outdated. Garden is beautiful. Breakfast was great. A bit noisy if there is any party or wedding.

Held my Uncle's Wake here, the suite was perfect, the food was excellent and the staff were professional and discrete, the event was a success. Would recommend.

Ordinary hotel. No lift. No air conditioning. Humid night so had to have windows wide open and sleep over the covers. En suite very cramped despite large bedroom. Decor very boring. Breakfast good enough. Parking good. Wi-Fi good. Overall an expensive b & b.

We recently attended a family wake at the hotel. We were impressed with the friendly and helpful staff and with their assistance with ensuring the event went smoothly and without any issue. The venue was well presented and in good order and represented great value for money. Overall we were very impressed with the hotel and would recommend it for any fairly small size event that we held there, of that's what you're thinking of doing there. We didn't stay at the hotel overnight so I can't comment on the bedrooms it any other facilities available on the site.

Quiet area, clean room.

Clean comfortable and welcoming staff. The breakfast was good value too. It's the room where you have breakfast that is the questionable, a bit like sitting in a dimly lit conference with odd table dotted around… Anyway. Would use again.

Clean and comfortable rooms although it's a little dated and worn in places. Great location with ample safe parking. Decent breakfast. Wi-Fi could be faster but it's free.

Location of the hotel is great, a ten minute walk in to the town centre. Staff have been polite and helpful. Rooms were nice enough. Breakfast was lovely.

The hotel was well presented with friendly staff, and I enjoyed a lovely meal in the hotel's restaurant — not cheap, but it was worth the price. The room itself was a "superior" twin room. The beds, technically singles, were massive, and the room was a good size with a bathroom (containing an actual bath). It felt a little dated, however, and not the most secure of rooms. Breakfast was not included (unusual these days) so I can't comment on that, but parking was ample — this is noteworthy as half decent hotels with parking are hard to come by in this area! For the price (obtained via late rooms) I was happy with the room and service — though I'd have appreciated some hot chocolate in the room!

Hotel is in a good location, between Surbiton and Kingston. We had an awards night there, for 80 people, we were well catered for.

Stayed here a couple of times for several night each time bed and breakfast each time. The staff are all very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean but the showers in the en-suites — Oh dear! Pathetic would understatement! In 2015 we expect hotel showers to produce copious quantities of water at the select temperature. These showers produced a pathetic trickle that was difficult to adjust. Then there is the lift! A two person only lift that moves at a snail's pace is again unacceptable in 2015. Will we stay again? Probably if only for the car park which is free and on site unlike the other budget hotels in the area.

The staff were all very helpful, polite, and patient. They made our stay here as comfortable as they could. Some of the double rooms are a bit small, but the prices being charged are decent enough as compared to what the rates run in these areas. Bus stops are aout 5-8 minutes walk from the hotel. Train stations are much further away. There are local taxi cabs that charge a reasonable amount. So getting around is easy. The rooms do not have a fridge, that one thing I did miss at this hotel. Also, like most hotels around here there is no lift. Our first room was on the 2nd floor and we had to lug heavy bags two floors up the stairs. The hotel did have an attendant assist us with the lugging, but a lift would have been better. There are several small restaurants around the same place as the bus stops (Penhryn Road) and some of them are open till midnight. So getting something to eat is not a problem. The hotel does not have any cola/soda vending machines, so its going to be a walk to Penhryn Road if you want a cold one.

The twin room was clean and sheets crisp, white and clean. The bed was nothing special and the pillows were a little thin but generally it was ok. The room was too hot. The bathroom was very small, shower cubicle very small and toilet not very stable. There was a noisy fan that came on with the light — so use by one person at night would wake the other person up. We only stayed here as we had an emergency situation in my daughter's apartment and could not stay there. The hotel was just across the road from her flat. There was plenty of parking. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel but instead went to Local Hero for a lovely bowl of porridge and coffee. Would recommend that to everyone! The staff were all very polite and helpful.

It was an utterly shite nights sleep (cavemen had better beds) and they probably had hot water. Although it was very clean and the staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was okay but we had to ask for the food and coffee to be restocked. Stayed there in May 2014.

The front desk and maintenance staff really helpful. In our room, bathroom let down by really small shower cubicle, no light over washhandbasin, very noisy fan and no hook to hang dressing gown. Location good 15 mins walk to Kingston station and central London or numerous riverside restaurants. Lots of free car parking. The hotel let down by indifference and lack of pride in producing food in the dining room Kitchen. My wife had fish that was badly uncooked. She reported it. Just Got bland general apology from a waitress and offer of free desert. A good kitchen has got to take more interest. A good hotel that lets itself down.

Well where to start? The beginning would be good! Well to start with, I was booked into a room which was already occupied. I subsiquently apologised and went to reception to sort out a proper room, the occupent of the room came to reception to activate his roomkeys, threw a load of verbal abuse towards ME! this made feel instantly uncomfortable! The new room had the following issues: Missing towel, rising damp, mould on the wall along with blistering wallpaper, dirty windows, copious amounts of dust everywhere: inclusing turning the "red" embossed wallpaper grey, cracked and Chipped floor tiles in the bathroom, noshower mat for the tiles resulting in a injured foot, badly draining shower tray, LONG run for hot water in the shower: resulting in a short and cool shower due to risk of flood, unset room:beds not upto their bed heads: bedside tables in wrong place: used mugs in the room, no clean mugs, coffee stains on the bathroom floor. Got a free meal and drinks from the manager. Ok would have been nice to have got the free drinks. Eventually calmed down and went to get into my bed at 2330 to find it unchaged from the previous occupant, knew this because there was a WALLET, yes a WALLET in the bed. After speaking to the manager, asked for a new room. NONE avaliable. Eventually when it was changed I climbed into bed at midnight. The bed sheets were dirty with ingrained stains! NOT happy but let it slip. After a mediocre breakfast where the fried eggs bounced literally!
