Great hotel in Surbiton with attentive staff, great cocktails and an excellent breakfast. Would recommend highly. Perfect for someone traveling for business who doesn't want to stat in central but wants to be able to travel to London quickly.

Miserable guy on reception wasn't to happy we turned up during the f a cup this was the only downside to an otherwise great little boutique hotel.

Customer service at its lowest! After booking an executive room at the Bosco hotel in Surbiton, we were looking forward to a great weekending. However, the beast from the east hit and caused all sorts of issues around the country. With trains cancelled and local emergency services advising people to only travel unless absolutely necessary we make the decision not to travel. We called the hotel, not looking to cancel but to reschedule our stay. The receptionist informed us it was not in their policy to cancel rooms or to reschedule stays and that we would have to brave the journey or cancel the room with no refund. I explained that with the poor weather in our area the nearest train station running was a 6 mile walk and that this was not possible. I’ve never come across such a cold receptionist with no empathy to a consumer’s situation that is totally out of their hands. I understand that companies have policies written on paper, but surly there is room for some flexibility in extreme situations. I did ask to speak to a senior member of staff, but apparently no manager’s work on the weekend, which I find bizarre for a hotel. I was informed a manager would call me first thing on Monday, but I’m still waiting… To reiterate, I had no intention on cancelling the room. I simply wanted to reschedule our stay. Extremely poor customer service with no empathy towards paying customs.

We visited at a really quiet time so it's hard to judge accurately, but the service was great (although not much excuse when it is quiet! ). The space is fairly inoffensive — just a nice modern bar. Food was good (just had nibbles). Prices probably about average for this area.

Refused service because I was wearing a cap, surprised to say the least. Came to drop my brother of and decided to stay for a drink. Ended up in bar next door "The Coronation Hall", no issues there. I did ask if I stayed at the Bosco if the policy still applied they said they would still refuse me service. My brother will suggest that his company reconsider there bookings going forward.

Great chilled out atmosphere, nice looking environment to enjoy food and cocktails. Very cool staff! Yes, I would highly recommend this place especially if you are in the area looking for a swanky place to socialise.

Good Wi-Fi. The new Six For Six menu (£6) is very good. Service isn't overly friendly though.

Excellent location really close to Surbiton train station (literally opposite), very comfy bed in a spacious room, friendly staff.

It's a nice lively place, I'm not a fan of the music but it's the only club like bar in town.

Nice, modern hotel with very nice rooms and staff. Bar on ground floor is great for an afternoon drink but gets very busy in the evening. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay again.

There is a bar on the ground and terrace that plays load, thumping music until 1am. It might be a good place to stay if you don't go to bed before then. The room was clean but noisy. Reception staff were poor, housekeeping staff were good. There is a cold buffet for breakfast with tea and coffee served. The coffee is good, the tea is not.

I was lucky enough to have one of the big rooms which was a nice bonus. However it all needed a good dust! the bar was nice with a good selection of drinks and nice atmosphere also the location of the hotel is excellent with lots of restaurants within walking distance. However the room was absolutely red hot it did have air conditioning but it seemed to be absolutely useless and couldn't be turned up or down.

Room was lovely and the air conditioning was really appreciated in this hot summer weather. The receptionist was friendly and the location was just ideal — so close to the train station, a quick ride into central London, and a nice community feel of the surrounding streets/shops.

Quick, uncomplicated service from the staff. Air conditioning in the room, which was a godsend on such a hot day. Power points within reasonable distance of the bedside table, for proper phone charging. Would stay again.

Nice location and looks recently renovated, but the walls are thin and the beds are a little too soft for our backs. We had a good stay however.

Nice bar/lounge area. Nice small meeting room suitable for a group of up to 8 people. The bar has a guitarist/singer later in the evening. They do a good flat white coffee too.

Ok place, but not really made to feel welcome here. Found Vinoteque round the corner which I definitely recommend.

Food below average. Service friendly, but added to bill drinks I never had! Do not recommend.

Was not allowed entrance due to footwear having a logo. Pretentious bar stewards.

I have been a customer at Bosco for the past three years and it has always been the place to be in Surbiton, the staff are very friendly and very attentive. I usualy do not write reviews but I felt the need to write this in Boscos and its managers defence as Bosco always has a great atmosphere and the manager is very easy going and very accomodating as is all the staff. I do think some people should get a life instead of requesting somebody to lose their job. I find this very sad indeed.

Having lived in Surbiton for a few years now I have frequented Bosco on many occasion and have always been impressed. Amazing cocktails from the guys behind the jump and and slick service from the waitresses has always made me stay for just one more. Last time I visited the place was undergoing a small refurb so will be interested to see how it now looks now. For me if you are wanting a cool night in the Surbiton/Kingston area (with a more classy crowd, not too young) you cannot beat it, seems like the people who work there love it also which you dont always see out and about.

Came for dinner. Food was okay, though pricy and somewhat inconsistent (a medium rare steak was mostly well done). Noisy, but perhaps so because it was live music night (which was quite good). Service were very friendly and helpful.
