Fabulous weekend, perfect location for our girlie weekend. We had a room for three, the room was spotless, big mirrors and lovely decorated. We had breakfast which was very tasty. Highly recommended bed and breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Highly recommend a stay here. Beautiful place set right in the town centre, so close to lots of lovely bars and tourist attractions. Norman and Lorraine were very hospitable and the continental breakfast was lovely. Very nice room with everything you need and we loved ours more as it was decorated for my mums birthday 😍. Already planning our next stay.

Perfect place to stay, central, clean, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would 100% recommend staying here :D.

Well, what can I say. We had a great long weekend at the Rising Sun in Bath. Perfectly located right in the middle of town. Great rooms and superb service from the staff during our stay. The food was exceptional as was the Doom Bar real ale. I would recommend this Inn as a short stay location or a long weekend to anyone wanting to visit this historic town, really convenient for the Roman Baths and other attractions that are a must see whilst you are visiting.

Lovely pub. Very friendly service and a good spot to watch the rugby on tv. Highly recommended!

The loudest place I've ever stayed in. Worst night sleep. When we said it was noisy the response was "Was it? " She really didn't care.

Good rugby pub, friendly staff.

A surprise find when having a mooch. Good hospitality, service and food. Can only go by the pork Sunday roast though. Lovely garden area. Not from Bath, but may visit again.

Another lovely break with Norman the host with the most! Lovely clean, comfy rooms, quiet location just a minutes walk from the centre, great food, ambience and welcome. Sharing reluctantly as it's tempting to keep this little gem to ourselves! See you again soon Norman.

A brilliant place to stay! So close to the heart of Bath. And our hosts have been so helpful and hospitable. Great rooms. Awesome food and generous servings. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Landlord so Fusey astic and happy to stop and have a chat, very welcome in it.

A medium range Bed and Breakfast hotel. Beds clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast included ane a good evening menu. Overall a 4 out of 5.

Had a delicious lunch and staid all afternoon in the garden reading the paper with some pints.

Lovely friendly place made feel welcome breakfast ample and nice and hot close to the Weir Town and shops.

Good spacious pub. Very friendly and welcoming. Outside beer garden is nice to sit out in. Drink prices are average, is always a good rugby pub to venture to before and after a game.

Great place to stay right in the heart of Bath. Comfortable room, good pub food, good beer and good company from landlord and locals. We will return!

Spent a good night here with an excellent breakfast. Congenial hosts. Parking could be a problem.

The Riding Sun was in a great location. You could easily walk to and around the centre of Bath from the hotel. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. The en-suite was nice and had a large shower. Personally, I would have liked a bath but overall it was nice and clean too. The staff are a family and they are very welcoming. The breakfast was nice and had hot food as well as yoghurts and cereals. There was also a choice of veggie food. I would recommend going if you are looking for a quiet place to spend a night — or have a drink!

Great place to go before and after rugby at the Rec, always a good atmosphere and they serve excellent beers, Doombar, Tribute and London Pride currently.

Nice place, I go here often. Certainly a good spot for a drink. A little out of the way and usually quieter than some central places.

Pub was empty at lunchtime which was surprising but we did get served quicker as a result. The chicken and rib special was superb and a monster. I didn't need dinner after eating that!

Went there as a large group of about 30 people, within 10 mins we were all seated with drinks, and within another 5 we had our food (we preordered) the burgers themselves were amazing, and overall the atmosphere of the pub was great, highly recommend it.

The Rising Sun is an absolute favourite bar of ours. It has a wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks at great prices as well. The staff are amazing — always friendly and helpful. It just has a brilliant atmosphere all round. The location is perfect too. I highly recommend the Rising Sun to everyone — don't delay, give it a try! I also saw it on the channel 4 program, Four in a Bed, which is the icing on the cake.
