A well run desert camp with helpful courteous staff. These folks have been doing this awhile and are experienced in providing a good camp experience while still offering hot water & Wi-Fi!

Location is a bit far from the main road but facilities are available and staff understand english.

Absolutely gorgeous setting tucked into a niche. Tents are spacious and comfortable with private bath and air conditioning. Dinner was cooked in an underground oven producing tender tasty chicken that was just delicious. However, the ambiance of sitting under the stars by firelight in the desert is uniquely magnificent!

Beautiful place in the desert. The rooms have their own bathroom and are both comfortable and spacious. Delicious food. All the staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Time here is spent in the best possible way since you can meet many persons in the common areas. Breathtaking landscapes during the day and at night.

It was a great experience to stay overnight in this camp in wadi rum. We had booked a private camp with attached bathroom. Staff was very hospitable. Highly recommended.

An enjoyable, authentic local experience. You will love the starlight nights, ambience in the campsite nestled between a sand dune and a cliff. Rahayeb offers a range of basic through semi-luxury tents in all sizes for visitors to enjoy. They can arrange camel and jeep tours which will allow you to see most of the area. I highly recommend the communal dinners (15jod pp) which are tastily prepared in a traditional slow-cooked method under the sand. Surprisingly good vegan options! Please note that tents can be very warm, power available 0700-1100 and 1730-2200. Showers are clean. Extra arrival information would be useful, for example you cannot access the camp unless with you have a 4wd guide. We got confused where we were going! Also remember to take a lot of extra cash as unfortunately the credit card facilities are scant. 4 hour Jeep tour for 70jod comes highly recommended at sunset.

Camp is beautiful with great surrounding. We had chosen a package of all which includes jeep ride towards the sunset point and camel safari in the morning. The property is very well maintained. The food is good too and ambience is so worth the experience. The rooms are spacious with clean toilets. But the icing of the experience for us was the courteous people there. The staff is really helpful and humble. Even the drivers appointed for the safari were so well trained and courteous guiding us and helping us through the safari. The whole experience was simply mind blowing. I highly recommend a stay here!

Tented Camp in Wadi Rum, very spartan, some curtains with bath, we stumbled without therefore tent with big three. Also very limited eating. On the other hand bathrooms in common very beautiful.

Lovely place. Wish it had a fan inside the tent. It was pretty warm in March. Otherwise a good place to stay.

I wanted a place to have the peace and quiet of the night in the desert and I found a private party with disco atmosphere and alcohol only for the guests. Total disappointment. The room Dirty and poorly conserved, bathroom (? ) deficient, shower without door in the screen, cut of electric suministrto at night. If you can not go to stay, just visit or if you are invited to a "private party".

Wonderful place to stay or rest when you come along the way. They serve special food, which they prepare in a special Ofen covered in sand. An oasis in Wadi Rum with super clean showers and toilets. The Beduinen-style tents are just perfect to hang out and relax. A great experience also for the hole family. It is also possible to book camels tours to the nearby Lawrence canyon.

Of all the camps at Wadi Rum the Rahayeb is (IMHO) the best located. Nestled neatly between a rugged range of rocky outcrops and a giant dune you’ll probably need a guide to find it (it’s invisible until you reach it). Thoughtfully appointed, clean and professionally managed, the food was genuinely excellent and the accommodation comfortable. The only thing preventing a 5 star review was the blaring ‘music’ (aka ‘discordant tooting and wailing’) so here’s a tip for the owners: help your guests to enjoy the peace of the deserts by turning the tunes off… or at least reducing the volume/ridiculous reverb to tolerable levels.

The tents are very good and very clean the dinner was very good but not so good for those who have a gluten intolerants.

One of the best camps in Wadi Rum but the price is still a bit excessive.

I spent one afternoon and night at the Camp. The very first time at this Camp in Wadi Rum.
We were four 4 persons and one English couple. Therefore I can not judge how it would be if the Camp were half/fully occupied. However, I have seen photage from the New Year celebrations 2017, where I can see that they are really professional. Delicious buffet
of food and very attentive service.
During our stay the staff was very helpful and friendly. I will definitively be back in April.

I can recommed it to everyone who expects high quality of accommodation. Food was simply delicious and they offer wide selection of meat and salads. Our the lux room was very simple but clean with hot running water in the private bathroom. Owners of the camp took care about the guests! They offer many activities like sand boarding, camel ride and jeep trip on the desert. They are super nice hosts! Thank you!

I think this is one of the few camps that has beautiful mountain-like structures surrounding it. It's such a beautiful feeling when you wake up early in the morning, there's pin drop silence, and you find this beautiful view outside of your bedroom. The staff at Rahayeb are EXTREMELY nice, and not just the customer-service nice but really genuinely care about you. The hot water, and bathroom facilities are just excellent and almost unbelievable (considering we are in the middle of the desert). We booked a VIP tent with our own bathroom, it came with one king sized bed, and one single bed. I was initially scared for going to Wadi Rum in the middle of November, thinking I would freeze at night, but all was well, I slept cuddling a hot water bottle and I slept like a baby. They sell tea, shisha, and water separately, outside of your dinner package. The food was very well-cooked and had a variety of veg and non-veg options. The driver who took us on our 4-hour Jeep drive (MOHAMMAD E'TEEG) was also an angel. Very knowledgeable, very kind, and very respectful. If you're new to Wadi Rum, haven't camped before, and want a smooth experience — book Rahayeb!

Awesome place to stay. Great experience, reasonable prices and great service. It was a trip of a lifetime.

The place was great, clean, the shared places were also very clean, the fire area and dinning place clean. The staff were amazing and especially the Manager was really excellent. I like the way they removed the food from underground its neatly done and very tasty. Never eaten in my whole entire llife such well cooked lamb.

The services are quite acceptable, the staff is a little sloppy.

Rooms are not cozy but camp is amazing. Very good food. Lights get turned off at 11pm and that is when the magic of being in the desert begins. Very friendly staff.

We loved this camp as well as the manager who is very friendly. They offer many excursions and walks in the desert.

Amazing camp in the desert — the rooms are extremely clean, the communal areas are comfortable and beautiful and the staff are all very nice. The camp manager is great! He helped me a lot when I needed to contact my local tour company and was very friendly and kind. The food (dinner and breakfast) is so so good, the dinner was easily the best I had in Jordan :) if you're going to Wadi Rum stay here!

Great camp in a very impressive place.

The bathroom facilities and meals at Rahayeb Desert Camp were great. You will either need a 4-wheel drive vehicle or to pay a local Bedouin to drive you out there. The sunset is beautiful and it is beautiful how they illuminate the rock faces at night.

Water, Western toilets, and Wi-Fi. That gets five stars on my book.

This is a very comfortable camp with excellent washroom facilities and a comfortable common area. Camp staff are helpful and pleasant. The tents have comfortable beds, plug sockets and electric lights.

The camp is clean, organized, nice service. Location is excellent in the middle of the desert and far from main road, but they have a free transportation to and from the camp. Food is excellent.

Nestled in a beautiful little valley in the Wadi Rum desert, awesome place, amazing food. The room could do with a fan.
