I would recommend this place Nice clean room Comfortable bed Cotton sheets Soft towels I would stay here again.

Booked economy room but as soon as we arruved we got upgraded to seaview room. The room was nice and clean with an amazing view. Staff at the hotel was very welcoming and nice. Will definitevley come back here when it get a little bit hotter. Highlt recommend.

Nice hotel, offered to upgrade to sea view room on arrival. £15 more but worth it aqs made room larger too. Although not massive. And had a small flight on stairs to very top. Not a major issue but would have been nice to have a warning, especially as they had already mentioned the lift to us. Although the lift was tiny and wouldn't seem to move the first time with 2 of us and our bags. Which was probably for the best as was quite tight.

Rooms were lovely and clean, breakfast was lovely, staff all helpful and friendly. Only downpoint was the bathrooms, quite tired looking and the shower was a nightmare to get to the right temperature.

The rooms are relatively small but we had a nice sea view. As others have commented, the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. We had half board so are in the Italian Cafe. We paid an additional £8.50 to upgrade to the steak which was very nice — though quite pricey. Parking, of you don't book direct with the hotel, is £8 overnight which is way cheaper than parking on the road outside which is £12 for 11 hours max, I think. The area itself is nice. You can walk to the beach in 10-15 mins and there's plenty to do here. Overall, I'm very happy with my 2 day break here and would come again.

My husband and myself have just spent two nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were excellent. The food was excellent. Our daughter and her fiancé visited here last month and felt the same as us. We will definitely be coming back again and recommending to others.

We had a nice modernised room. Food was ok for the price. Breakfast better than dinner. Good service from the staff.

The staff at this hotel are truly excellent. Always a smile and nothing too much trouble. The food is tasty and well cooked even when catering for a full restaurant of hungry people.

My wife and I booked a 2 night stay at the OCEAN BEACH HOTEL&SPA arriving Thursday 1st Feb 2018. We had a good welcome and was given a key to room 125 although there were only the 2 of us we had a family room overlooking the sea. It was fab. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff could not be faulted. The manager would appear to run a very tight ship. We would definatley return again. Thank you all for a great stay.

Good hotel with amazing view, in low season has cheap prices, but you risk to find a bad weather, go in summer and enjoy a beautiful scenery. The staff is very friendly and the city center is about 15 minutes walk. The food of the hotel only for emergencies because it does not have much variety, take advantage and visit the restaurants located a few minutes.

Great value hotel. A little dated in places, but sea view is great. Nice Spa. Outdoor pool, sister hotel has indoor pool and very dated fitness room. Authentic Italian food served.

Lovely staff. Superb food. Great location Asked for a quiet room and got one. Only negative was that the double bed was 2 singles with a gap in the middle which was not particularly comfortable. Other than that would highly recommend.

Couldn't fault this hotel at all. Lovely sea view room, very clean and loved the 'smoothie' type complimentary toiletries. We spent the first week of our honeymoon here and were delighted to find a bowl of fresh fruit and a complimentary bottle of wine to greet us (along with rose petals and obligatory swan towel model on the bed! ). We were greeted on arrival with a huge slice of cake and coffee whilst our room was being finished — something we hadn't expected but was very welcome after travelling. The staff were all very approachable and friendly. The only 'very' minor point was that our fourth floor room was hotter than Mordor and we had to keep the window open and fan on (in November! ) for the full six days we were there, but that is extremely minor in the grand scheme of things. Would certainly recommend.

A good quality basic hotel. The rooms are neat and stylish whilst the fixtures and fittings are at the economy end. The bar and entrance give the hotel a more expensive feel. Facilities (such as indoor and outdoor pools) are shared with its neighbours which are part of the same Oceana group. This gives the hotel something extra which other basic hotels at the same price wouldn't have. A great economy hotel. For the same price as a Travel Inn/Lodge you get a bit of personality and that little bit more which makes it overall a pleasent and more personable stay.

Amazing! Came away on honeymoon. Staff are friendly, welcoming and chatty. Service is always quick and easy. Food is amazing, especially breakfast! Pool looks great, just a shame it was more or less raining. Will definitely return in hotter season. Close to town, station and both Bournemouth and boscombe pier. Couldn't have asked for more.

Absolutely brilliant in every way. The room was clean, tidy and well stocked with tea coffee and smellies for the shower. The room was the perfect temperature and had lovely fresh bedding with fluffy pillows. The breakfast was tasty, plentiful, well cooked and the service excellent. All of the staff from start to finish were helpful, friendly and professional. The view from our 4th floor room was amazing! Great stay and we would book again.

The one thing I will remember is the wonderful staff here. Always smiling, attentive and willing to please. On top of that the food was very good, with a good selection every evening. The only negative was the bed wasn't too comfortable, but I think that's because I'm used to a memory foam at home. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is good all round especially when the airshows on! The views are amazing. BUT… Beware of the breakfast! The food was ok but it took ages for them to restock the buffet. Furthermore the beans and the hashbrowns were way to salty. The sausages are DREADFUL!

Amazing place, fabulous staff. I stayed in the single room, which is big enough for one person it's bigger than a single room in London. There is a lift and stairs to reach to the rooms which is great. The team in the ; reception /car park / restaurant / Spa/cafe / bar / taxi etc was fantastic, friendly and helpful at all times. I am really impressed by their amazing services and facilities in this Hotel Ocean Spa. I usually stay in 5 star hotels in London and I never received such a great treatment by every single member as I did here. Thank you very much! You all make this hotel even greater.

The hotel in itself is absolutely superb! The rooms are very spacious and there is a nice consistent layout throughout. The only thing I found a problem was the beds as they were a little uncomfortable, however this was not much of a problem considering the rest of the experience was fantastic.

My mother is in a wheel chair, the staff we're very helpful in helping me to make her comfortable. The young man serving us was polite and attentive. I look forward to visiting Ocean Beach soon.

Lovely clean hotel. Wonderful sea views. Very friendly staff. Buffet style breakfast was 5* I would recommend anyone to stay and will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely break away, our sea-view room was the icing on the cake. We also enjoyed our first night 3 course meal and felt there was a good choice on the set menu. Our breakfasts were also tasty with a good variety of options. Access to the next door hotel pool and sauna was a nice bonus. Hotel staff were friendly and happy to help with any queries. Would visit again and recommend to friends. Nice location.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cliffe side, food was great, staff were lovely, we got one of the upgraded refurbished rooms which was very nice if a little bland, some artwork would have been nice, also our bathroom door had no handle so if you closed it when you went in you couldn't get out! So a handle on the bathroom door please! Other than that a very nice stay!

Overpriced overheated room. Bed was broken but staff accommodated as much as possible. Overall, pleasant location but hotel tired and family room not great for the price which was £140 per night — regardless of it being peak season.

Just been for 5 days stay at this hotel with National Holidays and it is the best hotel we have ever stayed in on all the holidays we have had. The rooms were lovely and clean. The food was amazing and the entertainment is the best ever. Only one problem the hotel was too warm x and its winter. thank you for a wonderful holiday would certainly return.

Amazing! Poor customer service to begin with telling me I was lying about the price I was quoted 5 minutes before. But once sorted we got a superb room and was £55 for 3 with breakfast and it's on the seafront. Massive room (117) which was lovely and clean plus use of 3 swimming pools squash courts entertainment table tennis. What a place. My boy is loving it but why oh why do these great places have such frosty staff I will never know.

Very pleasant stay. Drinks in the bar well over priced and one particular tall waiter (in the bar in the evenings) liked to stare at you which made my wife a little uncomfortable. Other than that very clean, awesome breakfast and very pleasant staff. Rooms reasonably sized and very quiet on the third floor. Would revisit.
