Villa marina is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are excellent and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast is perfect, made as you like it from a varied list. It is prepared and served by Vince and Erwin in a professional and friendly manner. We have stayed for 3 years running and would always stay there if we came to Torquay.

Brilliant B & B. I chose Villa Marina as it seemed to be the only one specifically mentioning quality, locally sourced food, especially butter on your toast (not margarine! ). It certainly lived up to it! Breakfast was fantastic, beautifully poached eggs, smoked salmon on brown buttered toast, local jam that was every bit as good as my own home made. Room and décor were also really nice.
I was there for a funeral, and couldn't have wished for better hosts and company during a stressful time. Vince even offered to drive me to the cemetery.

The Victorian house is beautiful and has a lovely well kept garden. The accomodation was immaculate, clean and homely with well presented decor and interesting art. The bed was luxurious in our room.
The amenities and little extras were very thoughtful. Lovely lemon drizzle cake upon arrival courtesy of Vince and black pudding sourced by Erwan.
Breakfast was fabulous especially the poached eggs.
Vince and Erwan were such thoughtful and kind hosts, and being in their company was an easy pleasure. We can't rate them or their accomodation enough and just want to say a BIG thank you for making our time so special. We hope to see you again soon, Love Leo and Justin.

Vincent and Erwan greeted us with a big smile and a warm welcome. They were delightful hosts. We stayed for two nights, the room was very clean and equipped with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious, made with local produce. This is not your average B&B, it has a boutique vibe. It was a perfect stay in the English Riviera.

Wow … we had an amazing stay and Chris made us feel so welcome.
Highly recommended, nothing is too much trouble.
We stayed in a very comfortable large super king, tea and coffee in room, asked for more and had immediately. Shower was hot and powerful. Lovely blackout curtains too.
Quiet area and about 10 minute walk to seafront, buses every 10 mins, train station about 2 mins away.
Chris would always welcome us with a smile and gave us plenty of information on the area and give us advice on things we had planned.
Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. The room was comfy, spacious and everything was provided, even a few extras we didn’t expect, like a sewing kit, luxury biscuits, posh coffee. The king size bed was super comfy and we had more than enough pillows to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked and plentiful and the Landlord was attentive, friendly and knowledgable. Would highly recommend this B&B and will hopefully stay again soon.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Marina right before Christmas, we visited all the way from Abu Dhabi, Chris and Pat were amazing, so welcoming, very friendly and hospitable. We had an amazing comfortable stay, the place is absolute spotless. And the breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Every comfort and consideration for our stay had been thought of, we were very impressed. We would highly recommend Villa Marina to any one of our friends and family to stay. And we will most definitely be booking Villa Marina again when we’re next in Torquay. So pleased we’ve found somewhere so lovely.

Our long weekend stay here was very nice. Chris who greeted us on our arrival is brilliant as he was very helpful & informative. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris & the food for breakfast was very nice. The rooms were kept very clean & there was also fridge in the room which made a change for a small b & b. We recommend this b & b to anyone.

Great hosts very clean and tidy.

Have had many wonderful times at the Villa Marina, greeted by Chris & Pat, who have great knowledge of the local area & amenities. We are given an afternoon tea (or coffee) with scones, jam & cream, delivered on a tray to the room on arrival. Breakfast is amazing, all freshly cooked, to personal requests, this can be traditional or very varied. So many choices… and no filling in a form the night before!
It is a short walk to local transport… buses and train, Torquay is built on many hills, so yes wherever you go you will be going up or down a hill. The town centre and seafront are also in walking distance.
It seems nothing is too much trouble to our wonderful hosts. The rooms are always immaculately clean and well presented. Look forward to our next visit.

Very relaxed and enjoyable stay :) I was politely greeted and offered tea on arrival. The room was very clean with plenty of fluffy towels, tea and coffee making facilities (& galaxy hot chocolate sachets! ). The pièce de résistance was the fulfilling of our special request to have a picture of Nicholas cage on the bedside table. They even added a flower pot for good measure. Its the little things :)

We stayed here in August 2015 when Chris and pat took over. Great guest house fabulous breakfast with so much choice. A warm welcome on arrival Always immaculately clean. We have been a few times now as villa marina is in a good location 20 minutes walk to Torquay or hop on the frequent bus service. Close to Torre railway station 5 min walk. Good Wifi Nice places to eat In walking distance or get a cab into Torquay. Really comfortable beds. We are returning in August for a long weekend. If your looking at staying in the Torquay area Villa marina is definitely worth booking.

Stayed at Villa Marina for 2 nights in July for my birthday. Came as a group of 4, we all loved that the B&B is adult only acommodation. The owners Chris and Pat are lovely, so friendly and helpful, they really will do what they can to help. As I shared my birthday with Chris my husband and I got a free room upgrade and a bottle of Buck's Fizz! Such a lovely touch to our stay. I HIGHLY recommend this villa to anyone. Will definitely stay here next time week book our trip to Torquay.

Just back from a fantastic weekend at the Villa Marina. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Pat and Chris. We were spoilt from the moment we arrived until it was time to leave and it's the little touches that make all the difference, from fresh flowers, sweets and fruit in the rooms to the delicious freshly cooked breakfast with locally sourced produce. We made the most of the good weather and after taking on board the advise from out hosts enjoyed walks into Torquay, Paignton and nearby Cockington. Its just a shame that we were only here for 2 night … but we will return.

Simply wow… What a perfect host Chris is. Was greeted on arrival with a Devon cream tea. Room was spotless… Breakfast was perfect… A very helpful owner… Nice touches like fresh flowers and sweets and fruit in the bedroom… The best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in… Do not hesitate to book this place… Excellent Chris, thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely place, best breakfast ever with locally sourced food and drinks. Fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully presented bedrooms. Above and beyond in all aspects.

Enjoyed our night here loved all the little touches, toffees and fruit in the room, cream tea on arrival, and the breakfast one of the best I have had with so much lovely choice. Not forgetting the room which was beautiful it had all we needed for a lovely stay.

My friend and I booked 4 nights stay last Thursday and back this Monday 20th. Pat and Chris who run it gave us a very warm welcome and nothing was trouble. The breakfast at Villa Marina is the best I've had everything is freshly prepared on the spot. The rooms are spacious, very clean and spotless and the shower is fantastic. I definitely will go again.

Had a lovely weekend break here would go again for sure. Breakfast to die for.
