Exellent would highly reccoment very clean nothing too much trouble hosts very welcoming and freindly.

Fantastic guest house, fully recommended. We were made to feel very welcome and Phil and Richard went out of their way to accommodate us. Excellent service and the breakfast was awesome.

We were welcomed in by the friendly owner once we arrived and taken to our room. The room was very lovely and clean, just what we expected. The location of the guest house was very close to the town and within a very short drive to lake windermere. We also had no problems finding parking around the area.

Wonderful B&B great service, good value an pristine, impressive breakfasts catering for vegetarians and 10/10 for cleanliness the hosts Phil & Rick are brilliant hosts and a credit to the industry we will be returning the location is ideal and this is a true gem not to be missed.

Very clean, friendly host & lovely breakfast. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom, great location. Would definitely recommend.

23rd — 25th May 2015 We would like to thank Phil & Rick for a lovely Anniversary weekend. We were greeted with a friendly smile and Lizzie are chihuahua meant their little dog. Our room was clean, fresh and very lovely. Breakfast was very good Mark had cooked breakfast, which he enjoyed and had the same the next day, Mr Piggie lol while I didn't, I love peanut butter & they had it! Lizzie enjoyed the park across the road, very handy. Once again thanks Sandra & Mark (Lizzie woof) Stevens X hugs.

We were very pleasantly surprised with Ellerdene Guest House. It is very clean and comfortable with a nice atmosphere. It's clear that many improvements have been made to the décor and furnishings to add a modern touch. This is ongoing and the continuing work will make this guest house really great. Not that it isn't now, it is. My wife and two daughters plus Alfie our Border Collie were made very welcome by the owners Phil and Rick who themselves have a small dog. They could not do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious and a very good selection from a buffet style cereals and yoghurt to a full cooked english. We had our fill. I can only recommend this guest house which is within walking distance of a park, shops of Wndermere and 15 minutes easy walk to Bowness. I stay away a lot and would give this place a 4 star for a guest house.

I had a wonderful weekend at Ellerdene — got to be the best guesthouse I have ever stayed at. The rooms were impecable — the service — second to none. I would recomend this place to anyone — either single, couple or even family. Catherine the owner is always on hand and nothing is too much trouble for her. Highly recomended.
