Here for Sunday lunch, the last opportunity before lockdown, was not disappointed, excellent location with fabulous views, well looked after by all staff.

We have been coming here for a number of years. This is just a lovely guest house nestled in the hills above Bowness with a fabulous vie word the lake. The team here always look after you with so many thoughtful little touches. Fantastic breakfast and afternoon teas in a great location with really lovely rooms. We will always come back here!

Thank you for a lovely afternoon tea today for my Mums birthday. Sheena was so welcoming on the telephone and so accommodating for a party of 7 at short notice including a vegan. On the day both Sheena and Linda were so welcoming. Lovely service. Confetti on table was a nice touch. Delicious food — everything from sandwiches to cake was beautiful. A proper traditional afternoon tea. Tea Room was lovely with stunning views of garden. Highly recommended. Thank you very much.

Lovely sunday afternoon tea. In a beautiful lounge with a roaring fire. We were very spoilt. Service excellent and very friendly. Afternoon tea was a real treat and was delicious. Thank you Lindeth Fell. We will certainly be back.

Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful house in gorgeous surrounding. So peaceful. Luxurious, high spec room (we were in Grasmere). Special little touches eg complimentary tea & scones, iced water and sherry made this such a wonderful stay. All the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you.

5* Exceptional Country Bed & Breakfast. A beautiful original Lakeland Country house in its own grounds. With lots of original features. Warm and cosy where you will be greeted with a very warm and friendly greeting. Tea and scones on arrival are delicious. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and appointed room (Coniston) with lake and garden views. Delicious breakfast. Alfie the dog and Amber the cat are just adorable.

Beautiful country House hotel overlooking Windermere. It's a classic country House hotel with lovely decor and super clean rooms. Our room was excellent with a large comfy bed and lovely en suite. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice — cereal, fruit as well as cooked options. The staff are really friendly and polite. Hotel is a good 20 minutes walk from Bowness so a taxi is advisable.

I and two friends have just eaten the best Afternoon tea we have ever had, and over the years we have eaten several. The sandwiches were tasty and fresh and the scones, cake and biscuits were all simple divine. Also, the tea was plentiful and the chairs very comfy — sorry if we outstayed our welcome :)

What an amazing Sparkling Full Afternoon tea we had nothing was too much trouble they catered for my dairy free needs with no problem everything was perfect will definitely be back but this time to stay, would highly recommend Lindeth Fell.

Was amazing. The people are so warm and welcoming. The place was cozy and I felt just at home there. Not to mention the cute little dog Alfie ❤. Would definitely go again.

Some places are timeless and Lindeth Fell Country House is just such a place. It has a high class charm of days gone by, which fits in with the overall environment. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. We stayed in Lindeth Suite which was just superb. This hidden gem is simply a must stay place to go.

Beautiful place in great gardens but very disappointing for the money. No atmosphere, miserable staff with little or no English, food was served in delightful settings but was cold and badly prepared, Beer was warm, iced water had no ice, tasted like tap water, first time we have ever been charged an additional £7 for a small serving of vegetables in a so called quality restaurant.

What an amazing time we had at Lindeth Fell for our honeymoon last week! We honestly felt like a Lord & Lady! All of the staff looked after us so well, the breakfast was fantastic with lots of home made touches. The bedroom had a lovely view and was very clean & comfortable, but our most favourite thing was our G&Ts by the open fire in the evenings — just so relaxing! If I have one fault it is to say that you have made me very picky on my glassware now! As the cut glasses you served the drinks in were such lovely quality I now want them at home! Thank you so much to the whole Lindeth Fell team — we hope to come back one anniversary!

What a beautiful place with stunning views. The staff are so friendly and helpful this is a really good place to go and unwind will definitely be going back.

Have been coming here for over 20 years and it is simply the best. Wonderful scenery and position on the hills overlooking Lake Windermere, excellent food and beautiful rooms. But the best thing are the amazing staff. The Kennedy Family and their team make sure you are looked after from the moment you arrive; nothing is too much trouble for them. Just love it, and them!

Superb quiet location, yet within easy reach of Lake Windermere.

Lovely location, really friendly staff. Rooms are big and both bedrooms and common areas are clean and tidy. Would definitely come again.

Stunning country house, beautiful gardens and scenery all around and a perfect location to explore Bowness, Lake Windermere or anywhere else in the Lake District! Staff were friendly and so helpful with any queries we had on where to go. Room was so cosy and bed was super comfy too!

Everything at the hotel was wonderful and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious, the room clean, very spacious and wonderful views. It is quite close to Bowness-upon-Windermere also, easily within walking distance. Will definitely come back again next time we come to Windermere lake.

Our parents stayed here when we got married thus year and it was amazing. The owners are really friendly and they made our parents feel very welcome. The rooms were lovely, ad grounds were really beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommended.

We went to Lindeth Fell for our wedding anniversary and within 2 hours of being there we had chilled out! This is traditional English hospitality at its best — a truly wonderful experience with first class staff, dining and comfort.
