We visited Ambleside for 4 days in July staying at the Diamond Lodge Guest House for 3 nights. A lovely hotel in a good location with ample car parking. The hotel was clean throughout and decorated to a high standard. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well presented. The decor was to a very high standard throughout. Excellent breakfasts every morning. The owners Sarah and Joe were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay a memorable one, many thanks to you both. Would recommend this guesthouse, we will definitely return when next visiting the Lake District.

We spent two nights here on our honeymoon in March 2018. Room and facilities were amazing, we also got to spend a few hours in the complimentary spa package the Lodge has with a nearby Best Western. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast caters for all palates. Will definitely stay here again when in the Lakes.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was beautiful, the owners were so friendly and they had a great selection for breakfast! It has a great location where you can easily walk into Ambleside in one direction and to Lake Windermere in the other!

Contemporary, quality and oh so comfortable! The rooms are newly renovated with luxury style bathrooms. The bed is the most comfortable I've found in all of England. On top of that, the hosts are super friendly and breakfast is delicious. 5-star in every aspect!

Wonderful two day stay at the guest house — Excellent hospitality. We enjoyed a wonderful two day stay at the guest house. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with spotless bathroom and excellent hospitality. We were welcomed by Sarah with coffee and cake and guided to our en suite bedroom which was beautifully appointed. Nothing was too much trouble in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast ingredients were of a very high quality. The seasonal fruits on offer were the best we have had and the cooked breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. You can not fail to be impressed by the quality and the service of the host. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends. Thank you Sarah for making our stay such a lovely experience.
