Family bought us a gift for our Golden Wedding. Stayed 2 night's at Cherry Garth, we received a warm welcome and the family couldn't do enough for us. We stayed in a standard room with good views the heating was on constant so very warm. The breakfast was very good plenty of choice. It was nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Purchased as a Christmas gift for each other. Glad this was not a gift for someone else. 4 **** B&B was not as we expected. In attic with studded wall between us and next room so heard 'everything'. Room drafty and very dated, bedding very thin with dried blood on quilt cover.

Recieved a Gift from Parents as a two day break from the norm. We love the lakes. Have been all over but mostly in a tent. So when we arrived in central Ambleside, in a comfortable attack room with en suite DVD/Freeview TV. We were happy bunnies. It is a little cold, but heater in cubord. Managers friendly Sisters I think? Canny breakfast good choice, frim continental too full english. As much T and coffe as you desire. Read some reviews here n trip advisor. You get what you pay for the lakes are expensive, tent, van, b&b, hotel so personally we were chuffed. (We know it was a deal £200 2 people 2 nights in standard room) The little one came along too 2 year old. Free of charge, with cot. Made a fuss over her at breakfast with a specail bowl of porridge and an array of condiments.
