We came yesterday for the first time food was absolutely beautiful we will be back.

Couple of nights stay x bed was very comfy. Bar was cosy fire would be nice if it was burning x we enjoy it only fault was young kids in but it was not that bad.

Decent beer reasonable prices.

Super cosy very welcoming x.

Great Guiness and nice family atmosphere.

Old worldly pub with good food and a range of beers. Recomend the pork.

Very quiet but just what we like. Four blokes on a weekend away with decent beer and Sky Sports? What's not to like! Jeanette was very pleasant and we'll definitely be going back.

Looks lovely from the outside but quite dark on the inside although the staff were lovely.

Brilliant local pub, good beer, better atmosphere and a whole lot of laughs! The owner is an absolute star, couldn't want for a nicer, friendlier landlord! If your in the area pop in for a pint and a giggle!

Good to see it back in business. Will start being a regular here. Was always a good place and popular with the young crowd.

A work in progress. Only just reopened. Proper pub. Good selection of beers. Lovely real fires. Will repost when kitchen is reopened. No loud music, you can actually have a conversation.

The welcome and friendliness here are surpassed only by the food.
We were lucky enough to check in on curry night and it was world class with your chosen drink included in the price AND an open fire to gaze in to.
As if that's not enough the breakfast next morning was amazing and plentiful… only those with the biggest of appetites should consider asking for a full breakfast!

We dined here 3 times over the weekend of my mums 60th (weekend just gone) and the food and staff were amazing. Great hospitality and very friendly place, even letting us have breakfast there on the morning of my mums birthday even though we were staying elsewhere (normally just for people staying) and also did a roast on the Sunday for us which wasn't on the menu. If we venture back to that area of the lakes then we will definitely come again. Can highly recommend! Thanks again to The Globe Inn.

Delicious food, lovely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble and the best nights sleep that I have had in ages. My partner loved the Ales and wishes there was a Globe Inn Clone near us as it would totally be our local.
