Even before arriving at The Edwardene B&B communication was fantastic and we had our nerves put at ease with current coronavirus situation. When we arrived check in was very speedy and efficient, we were even helped with our bags to the room. Marie, of the owners was lovely and made sure we were okay with our room and had everything we needed. The room was SPOTLESS! Very clean and hygienic, you can tell that the cleanliness of rooms is a key feature. There is a sitting room where you could order a drink from and the owners set up an iron and ironing board for me when I needed it. Nothing is too much of an ask. After our walk Marie took our boots and wet clothes and dried them for us for the following day — how lovely! The breakfast was INCREDIBLE. The food is of a high restaurant standard and there was lots of options for us as vegetarians. It is clear to see how much care is taken in food preparation and the quality of ingredients is obviously very high. Service was wonderful, the young lady who was serving food was very attentive and efficient. Marie was also brilliant and let us know about the many breakfast options there were! We would have loved to have stayed another night and it will definitely be our first choice of place to stay when we return to Keswick. We will be sure to recommend The Edwardene to friends and family too. Hopefully we will be back soon! X.
