Stayed one night, felt very safe here, staff made all the new procedures very clear & everything was clean, breakfast was great, thank you!

I will never stay here again. For the price of an upper range hotel, you are basically staying in a hostel. Typically in a hostel, you still have a working toilet. Our toilet did not work. We spoke with 4 people on 4 separate days and no one was concerned. They stated they “checked” each day and it flushed. They are correct that it will flush if you use it once every 6 hours. Otherwise, for $200USD/night, I had to fill the back of the toilet with water by hand. The cleaning w…as almost non-existent. It was more of a somewhat make the bed and that is it. Also, potential customers should know that although Wi-Fi and free parking (first come first serve) are advertised, in my opinion it is false advertising. They Wi-Fi barely worked in our room. There are 5 parking spots that you need a Mini Cooper to utilize and there are 17 rooms… so, there is not free parking. There was also someone smoking in the rooms next to us (it states no smoking) and our room smelled terrible. There is no temperature control in the room. Worst of all is their lack of attention to detail and customer service. They did not seem to be bothered at all by our continuous concerns and problems. Not once were we offered another room or any assistance. On the last day at checkout, instead of apologizing they only spent time trying to prove that they were correct and we were wrong. If you read other reviews of this hotel, they are exactly the same. This hotel could very easily be a nice place to stay.

Good accommodation with very friendly staff on hand. Very good breakfast. Could do with slight modernisation in certain areas but it is a 3star hotel and it fits the bill perfectly.

Good hotel and well placed for Keswick center the road it stands on has two big parks on and is not that busy but to the side of it is a very busy road. The rooms so clean and comfortable the only downside to our room was the large window it was very hot inside the bedroom. The breakfast was very nice and you had a good variety of cooked breakfast and cereal and fruit. There is on site parking which is very tight I would say park in the street the staff were very nice and helpful.

Lovely hotel with caring and considerate staff, excellent home made food with a great deal to choose from including a TDH menu boasting competitive prices. A unique monkey wood bar with a nice selection of drinks available.

Unfortunately, not much seafood on the menu provided (winter menu) and it wasn't exactly tasty (was edible, but bland). Waiter who served us did his best and was a nice guy, but I feel that he would be better off in another establishment.

Firstly, I never complain in restaurants and I think this is the first negative review I've posted of one. Also, I go to all kinds of restaurants, chains, posh ones, takeaways, so I don't think this is because I've accidentally wandered in to somewhere with unrealistic expectations. We booked for a birthday meal and, while the service was attentive and the wine very nice, unfortunately the quality of the food was very poor tonight (I say tonight because I hope it wasn't the usual chef — I also notice it's not long since they started branding as a Seafood restaurant). I did start to worry when I saw they had a four course Table d'Hôte for under £15. The Å La Carte, however, was absolutely in the range of "proper restaurants", with starters at £5.95 each and the mains at £11.95 (fish stew) and £17.95 (crab and scallop linguine). The basic trouble is that the place is branded as a seafood restaurant, and that implies they're specialists, but the chef we had tonight just didn't deliver on that. I guess I was probably comparing with Loch Fyne, which is a chain with similar pricing. My starter was coronation crab, which was crab (always a delicate flavour) completely drowned in curried mayonnaise and sultanas. It might as well have been chicken or shredded tofu for all the crab contributed. It just didn't taste of crab any more. The presentation of all the dishes was pure Cookery in Colour circa 1970. The salad was dressed with peach juice, which sounds OK, but somehow wasn't.

We loved our stay at the Keswick Park Hotel. Having stayed here for many years and seen quite a few changes I can only say that the recent owner, Tong, has undertaken some lovely updating with the rooms, which now having a clean modern finish. There's also a very relaxing lounge area which was, for us, a very welcome place to chill out after our evening meal. The staff are really friendly, always helpful and very caring for all our needs. A special mention to Sue, who is professional and approachable, she gets the job done — but that's not all — she will go the extra mile for any of the residents and always does it with a smile. Well done Sue, we thank you sincerely. Our meals were made to perfection, and once again the chef, Ali, was very obliging to cater for our needs. All in all, a wonderful holiday in a superb hotel and we will be back again next year. Well done to everyone, and thank you very much Tong, who has become a dear friend, we wish you many successful years at the Keswick Park Hotel.

Been coming here for 20yrs, changed hands twice, but have to say there has been lots of improvements. The owner Tong is very friendly, helpful+caring, the staff are brilliant especially Sue.

We went for lunch — there was an offer for two/three courses for £8/10. It was quiet, the food was tasty and the staff were friendly.

Really nice room in a good location, however you only get a 1 hour window for breakfast which I thinks a bit too short.

A new venture. They deserve to succeed. Lovely food and attentive service. A generous fillet of fresh lemon sole and accompaniments. What's not to like? Delicious.

It is the most under rated place for lunch ever. Food was cheaper than the nearest alternative, and amazing. Staff were excellent and professional. Will go back for lunch again, and will be calling here first if I ever have cause to stay in keswick.

Very nice experience… went there for a work xmas event and it was lovely… great staff clean rooms fair prices near to the main town… please try I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Nice rooms, but our room (402) in the old station building was very noisy as it was beside the entrance and staircase.

Very friendly pleasant staff. Especially the chef!. Good value for an overnight stay, although room had cobwebs high up and a pair of socks in the drawers! Location good but car parking not adequate for a hotel of this size… would probably use again but a bit more care with the cleaning needed.

Myself, my husband and our 3 year old daughter have just returned from a weekend stay at the Keswick park hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the location was excellent, our room was spacious and comfortable and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
