Meadowdore Stay B&B Bed and Breakfast

We are staying here at the moment, in the Blue Bird room. Absolutely fab ~ so clean & spotless & nothing is a bother. All staff so pleasant & friendly. Breakfast this morning was totally delicious. Couldn't recommend this more ~ you will not be disappointed 🤗

Had breakfast and went back for tea. So it must be good Great place very friendly staff. Arrived just a little while before vlosclobut still took orders so I'm waiting for mushroom omelette and chips should be fab if breakfast is anything to go by.

Just had quick pitstop here for coffee and cakes on way back to Glasgow. Lovely bacon rolls, cream tea and service. Spot on.

Had breakfast here a couple times and both times it has been excellent, fast service friendly staff and water for the dog.

Tried to go to Meadowdore cafe at 4pm since the Green Housekeeper had closed 2 hours early (they publish 6pm closing hours but had closed before 4pm). Discovered this cafe had also closed despite having published closing hours of 5pm. Won't be returning to Coniston!

Everything we needed for a 1 night stop over. Fab breakfast.

I have visited this place for breakfast/ lunch over 5 times and I will go back again. Nice food served well and friendly staff. I like the full English breakfast. A decent number of benches outside too for those sunny or mild and cloudy days that you get in the lakes more often :) Overlooking a nice church yard, villiage road and a pub. Lovely setting for a bite to eat before starting your adventures around Coniston or beyond.

Staff were polite and friendly, had a nice range of fresh homemade cakes and pies. Food arrived quickly and was tasty.

We always visit Meadowdore when we're in Coniston. It's a nice cafe in a very convenient location. The range of food is pretty good and potions are very generous. A large range of cakes too.

A great cafe with friendly service. We had coffees and gf cake which was delicious. We didn't have a meal but the menu looked good. There was plenty of outdoor seating and we sat outside in the sun.

Very nice service here. The food is fine, tuna has just a little bit too much mayonnaise that it was hard to taste the actual tuna. Overall though it was nice. Some prices seemed fairly extortionate, such as a can of pop (£1.50).

Only popped in for a cuppa tea and an ice cream. Good service and good quality.

Came here for an English Breakfast one morning after a few recent disappointments in other cafe's. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was big, well cooked, and tasted awesome. Much better than we were expecting, service was also good. Prices were standard Lake Distriict fare, but you can't really expect anything else in this location.

Went here for a breakfast on a cold, wet Saturday morning. Very nice it was too (see picture) especially the sausage. Service was efficient and the food arrived quickly. Price was a little higher than normal but you expect that in a tourist location.
