Not too bad, door lock card thing didn't work properly, had to get a new card and the receptionist had to have a go at opening the door. Hotel is nice and central bed comfy room clean. Car parking is by way of local underground car park which was pretty expensive, other than that otherwise fine.

Bog standard Ibis hotel. Great location for bars and restaurants as it's right in the middle of entertainment central. So if it's a quiet night's sleep you want, this isn't for you. If you need access to town, food, bars, life, this is great.

Great service. Quick check in. Polite & friendly staff. Central. Discount on car parking. Good rooms. Good atmosphere.

Super hotel, close to Bristol Centre, museums and the Great Britain. Hotel staff extremely helpful, rooms excellent value and very clean. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bristol.

Good value for money. Got the room for £50 per night. Shame about the artex walls, toilet door that didn't touch the floor and breakfast that was somewhat cold. Otherwise could not argue with £50/night. Would stay again but not buy the breakfast.

Staff are efficient, friendly and nice. Rooms are sparkling clean and have all you need. Price is correct.

Horrible hotel. If you want your privacy don't book this hotel. Staff with master keys just walked into the room whenever they want without knocking. I booked this hotel and had to cancel the booking after their staff walked into the room without knocking. And apparently their manager was soo busy to even come and explain. A guy name fransic at front counter just don't know what to say. Booked another hotel paid extra for last minute booking and also paid for parking. No compensation offered. They don't even provide do not disturb signs etc.

Not very impressed. Normally, I'm just happy with a clean & comfortable bed for a one night business trip. Whilst I did get that, the room itself had a real cheapness about it that want very appealing. There was cheap laminate on the floor instead of carpet which made the room very cold and echoey. The bathroom was actually a curved plastic unit sitting in the corner of the room — looked like one of those train toilets. Sorry Ibis — didn't like it.

You do not know how to express yourself correctly in Castilian. I mean you, the Q have written this publication. In the hotel there are many workers who, to our fortune, dominate it without problem.

I was warmly greeted by a member of staff called Maria, she had my room keys in my hand in under 60 seconds, the room itself was clean and fresh smelling. I really appreciated the heating controls in the room too, so I could have the temperature just the way I like it overnight, in so many hotels they turn the heating off at night but not at the IBIS. Breakfast was fab, a wide choice plus the Coffee was superb. A cheery goodbye from the staff and I was on my way to my morning meeting. Huge Kudos to the staff for being so friendly. I will stay again with the IBIS Bristol.

Rooms were clean and nice. View was of the car park but I didn't go for the view. En suite was a weird pod not a normal room however the shower was quite big, didn't feel cramped at all. TV in the room and plenty of plugs and hangers in the wardrobe. No bin which was odd. Cleaner tried to come in the second day however I was hungover and told them not to bother, that's above average in my opinion didn't expect it during a two night stay. There was no one around when I checked in as they were handing over, I called them and someone came out straight away. Nice place and great location, 8 quid taxi to temple meads station when I left. Easy walk to harbour side. I'd recommend it. Bit of music heard from the street at 11 but it was Saturday.

Room fairly basic but was fine for what we needed it for (a place to crash after works Xmas party). No noise to mention, seemed pretty well insulated from the street outside. Staff friendly. Worth what we paid.

When going to Bristol this is an amazing place to stay. Most of the time the people working here are nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and nice looking, and you sleep like a baby in their fantastic beds, that are extremely comfortable. Apart from being a nice hotel, it is also located in a really nice area of Bristol, it's easy to walk to the city center if you want to, but you can also just stay in the area and go for a bite or something to drink.

Not bad. But should have in the room channels of other nationalities, not only English the bed is only 0.80, it's too small.

Hotel conveniently located in downtown Bristol to visit the city. Nice room at the 4th, very good bedding, but close to a group of external ventilation a bit noisy! Very good breakfast Buffet.

Very pleasant stay. Wonderful staff too. Had a couple of pints in the bar and bar staff good too. Breakast was also very nice and good choices too. One gripe though the small oblong plates I really disliked. Being able to pay £10 for a 5pm check out was wonderful. Cant think of any other hotels that offer to 5pm.

Each year on our trip from the Scottish Border to Plymouth to see the fireworks in august, we stop off in my old college town of Bristol. We have, over the years, stayed in various types of accommodation and for the past few years stayed at the Ibis Bristol. We have never been disappointed with our choice, the hotel been clean and staffed by high quality people — all who are knowledgeable and polite. Having checked in on line everything was ready for us — even through we arrived early. The room is well furnished and good value for money. Breakfast was excellent with the variously platters being continually topped up or changed. Rapid check out worked well, with the only requirement on our pat being to drop the room keys in a box.

Arrived late but check-in was quick… clean & comfortable room. Helpful Reception staff. Breakfast was good (except for the vile scrambled eggs… think they were powdered). Being able to get a hot food when we got back at midnight after the Balloon Fiesta was great. Thought we'd have to in search of a greasy takeaway. Definitely would stay again & book earlier in the hopes of a better price.

I have previously stayed at this hotel on several occasions with family and was always pleased with the service received. However, on this occasion I walked into reception to find that the reception desk had been replaced with a table with laptops on. I found this off putting and a little unclear as to where to go to check in. It also made the reception area look untidy. Check in wasn't as smooth as it could have been as all of the equipment needed was no longer in one place and the guy checking us in had to leave the "reception desk" to create our key cards. Whilst checking in I wanted to make sure that the "Half-Board" Dinner and Breakfast package I had booked was showing on my booking. It was confirmed it was. Later in the evening I came down for dinner and asked where we needed to go (the restaurant area did not look very open) as we had booked dinner. The guy that first spoke to us passed us over to a colleague who then did not know what we were talking about. We were then informed that they did not usually offer that package (despite it being online), they had no chef working that night and there was a limited bar menu as it was the reception staff who had to make the food. I did ask for a refund which was processed quickly — however being informed of this at check-in would have been helpful.

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable with a really good shower. It was very quiet when I went to bed so nothing to disturb. Breakfast great and plentiful, good coffee which is very important. Only one thing which could have been better was for it to be easier to regulate the room temperature difficult to get just right. Lots of good places to eat nearby and short walk to our meeting venue.

Definitely positive experience at the height of the best Ibis hotels visited. I underline the courtesy of the receptionist (Italian) who has met with competence and in our. Language every NS. Need. The room is very clean.

On our first day of the stay a group was present in the hotel on April 1st, given its importance we were not able to have our breakfast and we resigned to take it in another property of Bristol at our expense. Indeed the breakfast area was totally occupied lawlessly and in an indescribable noise for three hours. If we had been advised we would have, perhaps, been able to find the solution by an appropriate room service.
Pity the rest of the stay was perfect.

Classic chain hotel, clean and matching the price.

Clean soulless hotel like any hotel in the chain, lots of rooms, long hallways.
The room is small but functional.
It makes her service, that's all.
Breakfast is pretty good.

Room was pleasant, well sized. Would have liked an extra pillow but the bed was comfortable. Amazing location right on the Harbourside. Staff were friendly and helpful when I talked to them.

The staff were friendly and the room was nice. However we had great difficulty getting the air con in the room to work and it was extremely hot this weekend! But overall a good weekend :)

Absolutely perfect location for nightlife and general exploring. Combined with reasonable prices and comfortable rooms. Will definitely stay here again!

Rooms were clean and nice, but fairly small. We had a twin room and the beds were also small and pushed together, we seperated them but only by a few inches. Bathroom was a plastic pod, again clean and serviceable but the door did not fit well and was a struggle to open and close and there was no lock. There was tea and coffee but no biscuits. At 120 pounds per night I expected more.

A warm and comfortable stay awaits you at the Ibis Bristol Centre Hotel. Situated a short walk from the city centre and several attractions (Brunel's SS Great Britain, Bristol Cathedral and Brandon Hill park), the hotel is surrounded by a lively nightlife (bars, restaurants and clubs). The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and well maintained, and the buffet breakfast well prepared and presented. Negatives : parking in the city can be expensive, but there's side road parking which is free after 7pm. The bars and restaurants around the hotel can be noisy, especially at the weekend, so ask for a quiet room on the fourth floor if that's what you're after. Other than that, the Bristol Ibis is a nice hotel to stay at. Recommended.

Very impressed. Wasn't overly confident with the booking but we went for cheap rather than quality due to a short stay. Hotel was immaculate and modern. Staff were all friendly supplying us an ice bucket in a room with proper glasses too. Rooms are comfortable. No bells and whistles just a good OK room. Shower is a deal breaker for me being 6" 7… it was tall enough to fit me with good pressure and a decent shower head. Location is spot on right in the middle of the night spots and restaurants, yet still quite. Small supermarket close for supplies too. Will definitely go back. Thank you.

Comfortable and well-equiped rooms. Well located for dining etc. The bar and restaurant were great with lovely food and a good breakfast topped it off. All staff very helpful.

Nice clean and comfortable rooms. The free Wi-Fi was too slow. There is a premium Wi-Fi for £3 but we didn't try this so don't know if that is any good. The location is good with many bars, cafes and the harbour locally.

As the saying goes, "Does what is says. " The bonus being that for just £5 we could take the dog with us. Will use again. Easily on par with the Premier Inn.

Excellent location, nice room, friendly staff and tasty pizza! But the cleaning lady was terrible! She would just make the bed. What is clearly not good enough when you stay for a whole week. Started to get disgusted with the room when we found a lot of hair that didn't belong to us on the floor. That was unpleasant! They should hire a better cleaning staff. Apparently they couldn't even read in English since they ignored all our notes. The front desk staff was great though. I guess I would give the hotel another try, hoping I would get better cleaning ladies next time. At least when we got the room it looked clean.
