Found this gem of a hotel. Have to say absolutely wonderful. From the time we arrived until we left we were made so welcome. Room 5 is unbelievable, huge bed and bath together with amazing lounge and shower. Breakfast was amazing.

Beautiful surroundings and a stunning house with a high end but traditional interior decor. We enjoyed afternoon tea as a birthday celebration. Friendly and welcoming staff and top quality and tasty food. Great choice of delicious sweet and savoury, and a choice of teas, all served up on lovely crockery and cutlery.

Lovely friendly welcome… we were even met in the car park to show us the way in. Fabulous surroundings. We had afternoon tea which I can thoroughly recommend. Great selection of sandwiches on tasty fresh bread. Huge choice of cakes and scones. Unlimited tea and fresh brewed coffee. All presented beautifully. Excellent service. Staff great. What more can I say. Well worth a visit.

What a wonderful place for my son and daughter in law’s wedding yesterday. Nothing was too much trouble from the months and weeks leading up to the special day to the morning itself. Staff polite and extremely efficient. Food was absolutely amazing from the afternoon tea before the wedding service to the three course dinner in the evening. Room (ours was No 3) is a real taste of luxury — bath and shower were incredible!
Breakfast was superb — cereal, fruit, salmon, yogurts plus cooked options and copious amounts of toast, tea and coffee.
Special mention goes to Sandra who is like a whirlwind. You’re an absolute gem who works tirelessly to ensure bride, groom and guests have a day to cherish. Diolch yn fawr — glad you managed to have your drink in the end.

I attended a Wedding at Crug Glas at the end of August this year! The staff were amazing, polite and helpful throughout the whole couple of days it took to set up and the big day! This venue is so so lovely to have a wedding and also to stay there. The sun was shinning which made it even better as the Wedding was outside so made it even more magical. Food on the night was outstanding to say the least Our room was amazing and immaculate. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice there.

Crug Glas is a very special place. We held my daughters wedding there on the 21st August. They are so accommodating, nothing was too much bother for them. The food was absolutely amazing, plenty of it and hot. The staff were so kind and polite. Sandra the manageress was on hand 24/7. She was amazing. I cannot fault anything at all. Cleanliness was 100%. I would definitely recommend Crug Glas to anybody and everybody.

We stayed here for only 1 night and wished we had stayed longer. We had the big suite at the top of the house which was gorgeous. The food was great and the little longer where you have an aperitif before dinner was lovely. The family are very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone. Wonderful place.

Wonderful accommodation, we have loved every minute. All the team have been very professional and dinner was very tasty. We were booked in the long house which was a barn conversion separate from the main house with a bedroom and a separate large living room which was great as we were traveling with our 1 year old. Great location to surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Went there for a full day and night wedding never been before but I would highly recommend this place abousutly beautiful fantastic day and night.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea today and really enjoyed our time here. Shown to our own sitting room where we had the choice of tea or coffee followed by 3 tiers of beautifully made sandwiches and cakes. There was so much we couldn't eat everything but we were brought a box to take home the rest for later. Great service, lovely setting — thank you.

Outstanding service, food and accommodation. My wife and I were lucky enough to stay here for two nights (first time away together in 5 years) and Cruglas was just perfect. The room we stayed in was beautiful, bath in the bedroom, huge bed, lovely big shower room and lounge area. They even have Portmeirion tea cups in the room to have your tea/coffee in before heading down for breakfast. Breakfast is just stunning, again Portmeirion tea cups and plates etc. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. Fresh strawberries, mango blue berries with yogurt to start followed by a full cooked breakfast, absolutely spot on for me. St David’s Cathedral is just 10 minutes away and is lovely to visit, so are the local pubs :-) Dinner at Cruglas was absolutely fantastic as well, food cooked to perfection and the service was just amazing. Bethan was lovely and made us feel so very welcome and took care of our every need. My beer glass was never empty, big thumbs up from me :-) Huge thank you to all the staff who took care of us and we can’t wait to visit again.

This is a beautiful Country Hotel run by such lovely people! Our return visit was so very much enjoyed. The accommodation is gorgeous and if we could award this magnificent place 10 stars we would. NB: The house part of this place is not wheelchair friendly — it is a physical impossibility for the building itself, but the area used for larger parties eg weddings etc is wheelchair friendly.

I would highly recommend Crug Glas. My boyfriend and I stayed in Room One which was both cosy (comfortable bed and warm room) and decadent (deep bath). After a long journey it was exactly what we wanted. We were welcomed warmly and had a delicious dinner of lamb at the hotel, despite deciding on this last minute. Breakfast the following morning was also very good. The hotel is beautiful but the staff really made the experience for us. They were welcoming, flexible and helpful with suggestions of beaches to visit and walks to take. I look forward to visiting again!

What a fantastic venue delicious cakes and a fabulous lunch served all with a fantastic ambience. This is a must visit venue.

We had our daughter's wedding reception at Crug Glas last month and I cannot say enough about how amazing it was. We had a perfect day. Janet, Perkin, Sandra and all their staff were so helpful and professional in every way. The food was of the highest quality and the attention to detail was spot-on. Crug Glas is a magical setting — we had torrential rain but that did not matter at all. The venue allowed us to have a cosy, friendly atmosphere whilst still feeling very special. Thank you.
