Top class food. Though has been closed for breakfasts lately, I can only assume because they are full with guests actually staying there. Best Breakfasts in pembs to.

Came here for the first time with family on Easter Sunday. Very impressed with the food. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Being that there were a lot of us they catered to all of our individual needs with no problem at all. Will definitely be returning in the future😊.

Very last minute booking mid week and easily welcomed and accommodated, so glad we chose the Dolphin! I can easily say for all four of us each meal was outstanding, food and service without a doubt 10/10. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Stayed for 2 nights, Owners and staff were great. Will be definitely paying it another visit.

My daughter just had gluten free chicken nuggets chips and beans. The chicken nuggets were freshly made and extra care was given to avoid cross contamination with the person wearing gloves who served her food. Excellent service thank you for all you help. Will definitely ce again.

Stopped here recently whilst away with work… Would highly recommend. Very friendly staff, fantastic quality rooms and whilst the menus may need be the cheapest the quality is impeccable. Will definitely be stopping here again next time I'm in the area.

Had a wonderful afternoon taking opportunity of the lunch time food specials PLUS February cocktail offer! Food lovely and arrived quickly. Individual changes to dishes absolutely no issue to chef. Bar and waiting staff exceptionally friendly and as helpful as always with recommendations for which Cocktails to try. Highly recommend The Dolphin for get together venue as ticks all boxes. Great outside space also for those who like yeh alfresco experience.

We had the best new years day at the dolphin, food out of this world as always, and cocktails made by maisie are definitely worth sampling. All the staff worked so hard. Well done guys and Thank-you for an amazing day and night we loved it.

Recently booked a large booking of 22 people for a 30th birthday meal… both adults and children… The staff were absolutely amazing from the off, always smiling and very attentive to all different needs. For such a big booking I was anxious there would be so much confusion. Im happy to say I was wrong, all meals arrived, not one mistake! all food hot and absolutely delicious! would highly recommend! Our meals were delicious
I had the burger with chips served with home made coleslaw and the best onion ring ever. So tasty and plentiful.
Returned today for a snack. Ham n cheese toastie again very tasty
Coffe was good there. All good hopefully we will return one day.

Have just come back from 3 night stay at dolphin nice cosy room, staff friendly and food amazing and good prices. Definitely will be going back.

We had a takeaway for 6 people this evening, I can not recommend the food enough!
The food was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing.
There were a couple of extras we asked for and it was done.

Very impressed with my first visit to The Dolphin Hotel yesterday. Went there for lunch with a friend of mine, the bar/restaurant is done out lovely, very smart and homely and our sea bass meal was superb — thank you.

This is the 2nd time for a meal here and there will be many more… the duck is amazing… so good I have had it twice and my girlfriend has has the lamb steak and lamb shank, both of which have been divine. The service is brilliant and the drinks are lovely. My partner and I thoroughly recommend Pembrokeshire's little gem to all that appreciate great food, a warm welcome and reasonable prices to everyone.

Food was amazing, the best meal i've had out in a long time and lovely service from the staff. We will will be going back very soon. Xx.

Wow just Wow… I have no other words! we had ordered a sunday roast for the family with puddings … its was absolutely amazing my children ate everything and for the price I couldn't have made anything like that at half the price! Thank you Nat and Ben you excelled yourselves, you will definitely be seeing us an awful lot more of us! ❤

I rung up at 1pm Sunday and was able to pick up 10-15 mins later. Lovely friendly staff there. Had a kids size dinner. Was more than enough. Was bloody delicious. Really enjoyed it. Fully recommend Sunday lunch. Will defiantly having it ain't.

Had my first meal here today after hearing rave reviews and I have to be honest it was one of the best meals I've had locally. Great service & great food and all at a good price. Will definitely be back to try the cocktail menu!

Went here for a meal with my partner for valentines day. Was absolutely beautiful good, great portions and lovely presentation to match. The staff were very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Ben and Nat are running a fantastic bar and restaurant here. The food is fantastic and very affordable. After recently moving to the area, is friendly, welcoming people like these two that have made the area even nicer. We feel very welcome and will keep coming back. Highly, highly recommend.

Had food at the Dolphin on Saturday, would highly recommended, amazing food, service and really well priced, we’ll definitely be back for more.

The Starters were enjoyed by all, the Mains were a work of art and tasted as good as they looked. The Chef Ben, came out to see how the meal was enjoyed and it was a lovely touch as he is very passionate about his food and this is evident.
If you haven’t tried this restaurant, please do — you won’t be disappointed.

Went on the off chance and wasn't disappointed, the owners and staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was so good we went back the next day for Sunday lunch.

Had first meal here tonight won’t be my last will definitely be back, food was fantastic my compliments to Ben. Service was great.

We missed a Ferry and needed a room urgently for half a day until the next Ferry, since I had my pregnant Wife with me. They were happy to oblige and we had a lovely room with comfy beds and a gorgeous Panini for lunch. Wonderful, friendly, kind staff and people at the Dolphin.

Hotel rooms above a pub. The prices are good, as is the food. Worth a stay if you're in the area.

I have to review this on my own experience which was not good. The room was uncomfortably hot with only a window for ventilation, which then allowed smoke from people outside drifting into my room. The music from the bar below was ridiculously loud, to the point where you could not hear each other speaking. This went on until 11.30pm. Then the taxis started turning up sounding their car horns despite the time being gone 12 midnight. Soon after this other guests were entering their rooms and with the squeaky floorboards and banging doors I had no chance of sleeping. In fact because of all this going on, and the heat on the room I only managed to sleep for about 2 hours. The room itself was clean but the looked very tired. It might have been a better experience in winter months where the windows would be closed keeping noise and smoke out but I still don't understand why the music needed to be so loud.

Great local hotel/pub, best breakfast in town, friendly staff, entertainment some weekends, close to the ferry port. (Free parking at the rear. )

Good food here all freshly cooked, staff are great, Mike the owner is a good craic.

Great place with very friendly atmosphere. Beer is alway nice and the food is first class. Love my breakfast each weekend. Can't fault the place.

A lower end hotel with superb hospitality. The staff were like a family and it seemed like a mom and pop hotel. There is a restaurant there and the breakfast was excellent and very popular with the locals — always a good sign. I will certainly go back.

Giving 5 stars as I was travelling around south Wales and couldnot find accomodation and needed shower warm place and good bed. It happen finally. And MY DOG HAS BEEN ACCEPTED which I really do appreciate. Room was absolutely clean bathroom as well. Just downstairs is really old and used not mint design and condition. The price was ok but not cheap so I ll be cheeky and would recommend to change it more then a bit. But if u travel with a dog, in the autumn and it s getting dark earlier, accomodation around almost sold out, u ll be happy for this place. Car park small but it is there☺

Very friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast which was quite nice. I didn't like the toast though, it was stodgy white sliced thick bread. We were not offered wholemeal which we would have preferred. Tea was very strong.

A nice and friendly place to stay. Rooms were basic but for the money was bang on. Breakfast was lovely and served promptly. The landlady and most of the staff were terrific. Locals were a little unfriendly to the English but wasn't too bothered. A few changes could be made such as our shower was a bit unpredictable as sometimes it worked and other times it just didn't and the TV just was impossible to watch! Overall I would give 8/10 because what was lacked in by needs met was presented by enthusiasm. The town was bleak as it was a little deselate and the locals seemed to have fun by pointing us in the wrong direction. Overall the whole stay was sweet but I would stay at another location next time visiting south Wales. This has no reflection on the actual stay at the dolphin hotel.

When arrived here one of the bedroom keys didn't open the door. Went to bar and explained and was told we had to wait an hour for staff to come after traveling over 2 hours plus being pregnant. Had a member of staff climb around the back and through a window to open the bedroom door and another room which family members stayed in, a member of staff had to open the door with a screwdriver and a hammer. One member of staff was really rude towards us telling us to pack our bags and leave and to don't start. Language was foul and had no customer skills. A member of staff offered us a free drink when he realised how rude he was. Didn't feel welcome here at all. One of the hotel rooms had a sponge for a mattress and the toilet was right next to the shower not allowing enough room to get out of the shower as the toilet was right in front. Towels were stinking. Wasn't given new shampoo pots had someone's left overs, the both rooms smelt like damp. One of the beds had the head board off leaning against the wall. One of the rooms had an uneven floor. The noise in the night was over the top music was way too loud couldn't get any sleep, the second night we stayed there a couple were absolutely steaming and arguing. The rooms had no fans or aircon which caused me to feel sick. Only had 2 plug sockets which wasn't enough. The toilets for the pub were dusty and small. The stairs to get to the rooms were very steep.

The room was good but the shower didnt work and they didnt care.

The check-in is easy, just go to the bar! The room was small, but it was perfectly fine for what we needed. The bathroom was modern, kind of a wetroom. Good shower. Loud music can be heard from the bar in the rooms on Friday and Saturday nights especially (the nights we were staying). The breakfast at the Dolphin is awesome! Quick as anything, and delicious!

Stayed for one night 13/07/2017 room very clean, location great, owners staff nothing to much trouble, breakfast was first class we would definitely recommend and stay in the future.

I have been staying in the dolphin for years and I have never had any trouble with the service or the staff. I have always found them professional and very friendly. The food and drink and rooms were and are still excellent value and I will always book here and won't be swayed by stupid comments. Everybody is welcome to there opinion so I thought I would just voice mine…

Well shocked with this hotel really ruined my 30th birthday up with the mess up and they didnt even care was suppose to have a nice weekend away but no we get the run around they could of atleast contacted us to let us know there was a problem with our rooms but no they didnt and the attitude on the one woman was shocking need to sort them self out as that was just wrong a hotel u runing not a bar or night club really need some lessons in customer service aii.

You are a disgrace for the way you treated us. We travelled all the way from merthyr tydfil 100 miles! To be turned away. And to say we wanted a refund its you that wanted us to have a refund. You dont have a clue about management what soever think you best take up some training! Your an absolute embarassment especially for me coming from pembroke dock. Youll be having no custom the way you treat ppl! Disguisting!

Nice friendly place with a wicked full breakfast.

Good value for money although be aware that live music may be played in the bar below. Make sure you're either dead tired or bring earplugs :) Staff was nice and helpful. Had to skip breakfast so can't comment on that. Has free private parking too.

We booked this as part of our last minute travel plan to Wales over the weekend. The hotel is above a bar and when we arrived there was a live band playing music really loudly and the loud music along with all the hooting and cheering went on until past midnight. Both rooms that we were shown were very small with basic amenities. The first one didnt have a shower but the owner changed the room for us immediately. The second room did have a big bug though… The bathroom stall was really small and it was hard to have a good shower. To top it the hotel had motion sensor lights in the bathroom. Now while we are all in for saving energy, having to shake and move your body every 5 seconds wasnt funny. At all! For the £55 we had to shell out for this place, I wouldn't recommend it at all. However, the 3 star is because the owner apologized a couple of times for the loud music, changed our room for the shower and breakfast included in the room rate was good. Wouldn't revisit though…

Must be best breakfast in Pembrokeshire can't wait to try a mixed grill.
