Was our hotel on our trip to the island of Jersey. Located right on the beach and sea. The hotel was clean and modern and beds were made every day or everything was cleaned, refilled what was missing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was versatile and delicious. A small supporting programme was also organised every evening by the hotel, which ended the evening at the bar. We were in good hands and comfortable.

Was a lovely say, the rooms were kept very clean, and the food was lovely, and the staff were all polite and friendly — will most definitely be staying there again when we visit Jersey.

Hotel good, wall thin, bed thick, potatoes tasty, man with bad foot serve food, chip okay, wife happy with her feet, sun shine for extra gravy response. We will enter you again someday. Thank you.

Food was reasonable but some of the waiting staff could do with learning proper etiquette. Some staff were brilliant just let down by a small number. Otherwise an enjoyable evening.

Went for set Christmas meal with a large group. Food was good and service was spot on. Would recommend.

The Ambassadeur has varying reviews and Ill try to be as objective as possible. The first room we were allocated overlooked the swimming pool, for any privacy the curtains had to be permanently drawn darkening the room. The room smelt musty and the bathroom smelt of drains. I paid a subsidy and had a room with a sea view which was considerably better. The bathroom was a vast improvement but the shower had very poor water pressure. The biggest problem was the sound proofing of the room. It was possible to hear every word spoken by the guests next door, with their TV on sleeping was virtually impossible.   The restaurant was vast, with tables crammed into every available space, you'll have more room between tables in a fast food outlet!  Our first table was situated by the 'plate stacking/clearing area' it was noisy and the sight of waste food being scraped off plates did little to enhance the atmosphere in which to dine.  Discreet conversation over a meal impossible. You can forget a romantic dinner for two! It could best be described as cafe style dining with silver service. The waiting staff barely gave you time to finished a course before the plates were whisked away and the next course presented. The food was plentiful but plain. When on holiday, dining is a part to look forward to, this was just a place to eat and the staff got you through as quick as possible. Buying a bottle of wine, that's if you could find the wine waiter was a waste of time.

Nice big rooms at the front with wonderful sea views. Bus stops nearby with a good service. Decent breakfast. Warm and comfortable. Downsides are slightly dated fittings although pretty clean, you can't sit anywhere for breakfasts — people 'bag' a table for the week and no one else is allowed to use it. These aside, I'd stay there again.

Just back from a wonderful holiday at this great hotel. Well what can one say, our first visit but we're going back next year! The food was wonderful the chef presented some excellent dishes which were served by great waiters who worked hard to please. The rooms were very clean and well presented, we had a sea view with a small balcony.

Great clean room, friendly and helpful staff, silver service restaurant with delicious 4 course dinner for £17, sound breakfast, good bar, great base for all our island activities, short hop to St. Helier, seamless Wi-Fi and swimming pool. What more could we ask? Second visit, will return.

Great hotel looked after us with smashing service after we were sent to it after the airport was in closed due to fog nothing was to much trouble even though they were put under pressure by all the numbers suddenly arriving.

The New year Gala Dinner is a great crack. Beats Jools Holland — yawn!

We have spent two christmas holidays at ambassadeur and they were excellent.

Staff downright rude and disinterested in the restaurant — mediocre/poor food. I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very noisy hotel.
We stayed one night in this hotel, which is rather disappointing.
The rooms are rather big but very average bedding (2 single beds next to each other) and the mattress very soft.
The worst thing was the noise. Indeed, the rooms are very poorly soundproofed and from our room, the noise of the kitchen was very inconvenient. In addition, between 11: 00 and 2: 00, there was a party in the restaurant with very loud music.

Loud drunks in the lobby. Loud music into the small hours make the bedroom floors and walls vibrate. No sleep. Disgusting breakfast. Boss disinterested.
