Hotel atmosphere. Is very good all staff and service is very good, our stay has here good experience aling with my family.

We arrived at 3 o clock on a Friday, the sight that met us was a lot of drunk people but since it was a friday we expected it. The guy who helped us with the baggage was wonderful and really helpful. As the days went by you felt that they didn’t really trust their customers. Everytime the roomservice didn’t give us 5 towels and toilet paper in both the toilets we were told that we will get 1 more roll. It was so embarrasing to ask for toiletpaper on a daily basis, seemed like it was a shortage of paper in Dubai. After a couple of weeks one of our kids managed to get a coffee stain on a towel, when we came back from the activities we were met by an envelope with an invoice and two dirty towels in the middle of the room. They did not even try to clean them before asking us to replace 1 towel for 100 dirham. I have never experienced stuff like that even in a 3 star hotel before so I was shocked. I did pay for that towel right away and asked for a receipt because I KNOW that hotels like these can trick you to pay more afterwards. After a couple of days we saw that room service did not even fill the toilet paper anymore so we started buying our own than to ask for more. The towels kept getting fewer after a week. The worst was the check out, we were told to stay out in the reception so they can go and check the room. Where the f is the trust? It is not a 4 star hotel!

This is great hotel every one so helpful kind in the restaurant Teresa, in house keeping dorca always with a smile and helpful Angelica joyce front desk Bell hop mark all of them great! but best Teresa and Angelica.

It was great staying there close to the stores and transportation to Dubai Mall the beach by the hotel I will be back!

The staff at this hotel were excellent. So helpful, funny, lovely and remembered us from the day before. The room is fair. Many things needing attention, just little things but still, it is advertised as a 4⭐hotel. It's very tired looking. Needs a good clean up and renovation. It has great bones, just needs a little tender loving care. Buffet breakfast was quite large, has many choices. It was the staff that kept us from asking for a room change, they were fantastic.

I stay in mercure Gold hotel its very beautiful hotel and his staff is Good & Coprative. This is expancive but its Good.

Breakfast buffet isn't amazing… Hotels rooms are big and reasonable inside but occasionally have cockroaches. Gym is pretty small but good enough.

Had a wonderful Iftar buffet organized by my company Ray International. It was quite nice place to visit. No parking issue if you can put tickets.

Great hotel situated not far from the centre of down town Dubai … hotel has gym, pool, restaurant, shop, great views from the hotel roof of the heart of Dubai. Friendly staff and a helpful young lady in the lobby to help book any day trips you want.

Nice hotel conveniently located near the Jumeirah beach. I booked online through Priceline and the price was fair. I didn't have problem checking in. I would definitely visit again if I have to travel to Dubai again. I woul have given five stars if they had served complimentary breakfast for all guests. They only do that for certain customers.

I stayed at Mercure Gold for 2 weeks. The hotel's location is very good — 5 min away from La Mer beach and close to many food areas. Excellent customer service and helpful staff. Overall enjoyed it!

Absolutely fantastic and clean hotel. Good location. Big thanks to Mercure Gold for surprise birthday cake for my son. All staff is very professional and helpful but I am already impressed by reception staff (Mr Peter) and Mr Nazim from reservation.

Good all around hotel. Nice rooms and restaurant options. Prices very good. Pretty good location. Sometimes noisy depending on your room location due to nightclubs.

Pool bar is closed during day time. Small pool area. Vegetable rice during bugfet bfast and the rice used in nasi goreng is smelly like dead cockroach died. This hotel needs to improve their food.

Fantastic customer service! Room was nice and quiet big. I liked the pool on the roof and the shuttle bus is a plus.

Very average. Old. Cold room, pad of possibility to adjust the air conditioning. Shower clogged, bathroom poorly made, not supply in towels, SOAP, etc. Nice staff.

Fantastic staff. Always asking what they can do to help. Swimming pool is a good size and the hotel is always clean. The hotel was under refurbishment while I was there, but there was not interruption during our stay. The only negative of the hotel is the loud music during the night. The hotel has a disco every night that goes on until the early hours. As we were on the 3rd floor, we could hear the music all night. So ask for a room on a lower floor if possible.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff is very friendly, helpful snd involved. Energy saving rooms. Great concept but be aware the fridge turns off if you turn the room power off. Each room has a doorbell, do not disturb and cleaning light which I thought was pretty awesome.

Mercure Hotel is a 4 star hotel with a nightclub and a bar that makes the hot.
Not too expensive accessible to all.

Smelly rooms, not chap I could pay extra 80 AED AND stay in 5 Stars hotel. First floor is noisy and rooms are small. After I paid I felt disappointed and I wish if I booked somewhere else. Definitely I’ll not stay again. Bathroom is not clean and the towels are not clean. Room feels like 1 star hotel. I suggest to downgrade the hotel to be 2 stars hotel.

Friendly staff, free parking provided. Don’t take rooms on lower floors on weekends. They have this night club on the ground floor and you could have a hard time sleeping. So try getting 4th floor if you can on weekends.

WORST HOTEL EVER! WARNING WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE! I don't know where to begin with this place. You DO NOT want to bring yourself or children or your family here. humidity and mould problem. If you dare stay you'll notice this right away. I was sick my entire stay because of the mould the first room I slept in. The BATHROOM CEILING fell down FELL DOWNTOWN because of water damage. This ruined everything of mine that was in the washroom. My makeup. Hair tools. Everything lol and all they did was upgrade me to a new room and have me ONE free meal. This obviously does not compare to the hundreds of dollars of damage by their hotel. stay is so unknowledgable. And rude lol if you like cold showers stay here. I stayed for 11 nights and only 2 days I have hot water I called house keeping FOUR times for towels one night until I eventually fell asleep I was so tired and couldn't wait up any longer. far away from everything FOOD was ALWAYS cold by the time it came to my room and I seriously wonder how clean it was because this hotel is A MESS. Mould everywhere smells of smoke it's disgusting! I had a stomach ache everyday I stayed here. I began to wonder why and when I started eating else where my stomach pains went away. DO NOT EAT THE FOOD can not be trusted check out took them 45 minutes and my uber left me and charged me. PLEASE and I mean PLEASE do not stay here it looks nothing like the pictures the place is falling apart!

This is really a nice, clean and safe hotel. The staff knows your name when you show up, they remember your name when you depart and watch out for you while you stay. The roof top pool is nice and the 24 kitchen is like your own personal chef. It really is a 3+ hotel, much like the Mercure hotels in Germany. Is good for families too.

A very good 4 star hotel with amazing hospitality services. Good and large rooms with good view outside. Main resturant inside is driving people from outside as well.

The absolute worst hotel experience ever! We made the reservation in January, paid and confirmed. We arrived on Thursday. At arrival, the hotel had a "maintenance issue" and moved us to a poor quality "budget hotel". They attempted to offer transportation and free breakfast as additional compensation. After they dropped us in the ghetto, our service basically ended, no business card was provided, and the number given us by an employee written on a piece of paper was incomplete.
The same employee lied about the food compensation as well as the transportation reimbursement. Many other frustrations but I'm finished with Mercure. Customer service was extremely poor!
I would not recommend.

We spent our week in Dubai in this hotel. Really nice place to stay in Dubai. Nice, clean and spacious room with massive bathroom with shower and large bath. Very comfortable mattress. Service very good. All Team ready to help at any time to make sure your are satisfied with any queries. Breakfast very good. Plenty of choice for everyone. Service quick and very professional. Absolutely lovely place to stay if you want to explore Dubai. Reasonable distance to all attractions. Close to restaurants on high street if you don't want to eat in hotel. Swimming pool on the roof makes a nice view of Burij Khalifa and other tall buildings around.
Just what makes you shocked is pricing in for alcoholic beverages… 40dirhams fot small bottle beer, but I think this is because of high tax for alcohol. As a professional hotelier, with no doubt I can say it's very high standard hotel where team is always extra mile ahead. Overall I can really recommend this place and when we will go to Dubai again I think this place definitely will be considered as a place to stay.

Very noisy at night from the to the nightclub located on the ground floor.
Badly cleaned room and regular oversights of SOAP or paper toilet.
People alcohol the pool screaming.
Unfortunately the hotel mercury has a lot to change it at the expense of its loyal customers for the benefit of its bars with music at bottom located on the ground floor.

Loud bar on the ground floor, loud bar on the roof. Smokey and smelly. Not good for a good night's sleep. The staff are friendly, the shower is good and the bed is comfortable.

Was here for a fortnight for work in June/July 2015. Summer time and Ramadan period, Dubai was very inhospitable. The bar on the ground floor of the hotel opened only at 8 PM, and the usual live performances were suspended. The hotel has a rooftop swimming pool and restaurant. Ground floor holds three restaurants — and a bar. A spa and a small utility shop for souvenirs. Al Mina road is close both to Bur Dubai (by taxi DHM 12/-) and other city centre eateries. (by DHM 12/ — and walkable)

Best hotel in Dubai I have been.

First, be careful to the distance between the hotel and the airport if you stay only one day and if you arrive at night. The price of the taxi ride double.
The room she is comfortable. I noticed a leak of water at the level of the toilet.
The staff did so that I can stay in my room 3 hours longer so that I can go directly to the airport without waiting happen there.

Arrived at ten o'clock and was told, that my prepaid and confirmed room wasn't available due to "maintance issues". A lie as I found out later, simple overbooking, so calculated profit-increasing by the hotel management. Was told by the staff that they transfered me to another hotel of similar standards. Was brought to a howard johnson, which wasn't worth mentioning it at all. After one hour of discussing with desk-staff who told me they dont have a room for me I finally got a room, smokers room even though I booked non-smoking. After claiming that at the front-desk, was transferred to another (smoking) room. Terrible experience. Never again. Talked to the front desk at Mercure, nothing was done except for a sorry. I had to talk to the General Manager the next day to get my money back. Not recommendable.

We stayed here in September 2012. The facilities, staff and location were all fantastic. Great access to local cheap restaurants. Not far from the Metro and bus routes straight into Dubai. Has a shuttle bus service to the beaches and shopping malls. All the staff were wonderfully helpful and so polite and the Pool guy gave us loads of advice for trips out and where to go. Would defo stay again even on business when I travel through Dubai very often.
