Days Inn by Wyndham Portland Central Inn

Pleasant experience, wasn't able to check in until 630 am due to running a bit behind schedule. Front desk was accommodating and extended our checkout. Rooms were very clean and modern, incl. Microwave, mini fridge and spacious bathrooms.

Place was pretty good. Had a problem with homeless fighting and banging on back wall. Called front desk and they took care of it quickly. Was clean and about 100 yards from the tram so I could get to the Oregon Convention Center quickly. Only 12 minutes away which was great. Cost was about $100 a night. Four nights cost me $411.00. I would definitely stay there again. First two photos shows how close it is to the tram station. Easily within quick walking distance. Please know that I took photos on the day I was leaving and had already slept in and used the room. All rooms are no smoking and no pets.

The location was good and the rooms were clean had a mini fridge 2 beds and a bathroom nothing bad for just a overnight stay.

The manager is SO RUDE. He has horrible customer service skills. Coming from someone who works customer service for a living. I’ve had to deal with him twice now and hope to never see him again.

Nice building. Very rude front desk. I paid everything in cash. I'm a Christian bought a woman from the streets to talk so she would get a break of walking and talk a little bit about God. Got charged for my deposit 40 dollars. And that is not right. You got to watch out for your cash or your credit card deposit. Dale find away to take out money from your deposit. Watch out. I will never stay here again.

Kinda dirty and old feel to it even though it was clean just not a cozy environment. Felt cold and creepy. Price was decent.

Rude management. We were given a price prior to going and it changed when we got there. We left an item and they did not take the time to see if it was there. Hope they enjoy my decreased grandfather's gift earrings. So sad. Best to find a different hotel. Wish I could give a zero.

Dennis was EXTREMELY RUDE when I called about an early check in! He wouldn't give a specific price for early check in. He just said "could be $20 or $30 or $40" then proceeded to tell me they are closed! What hotel is closed?! Upon arriving to the hotel he was still rude to us! Gave us a hard time with check in and went on to say my sister could not stay in the room with us because we only have one bed. Although we told him multiple times she has a reservation in another hotel! On top of that there are these signs everywhere with these absurd "rules". Like no guests after 9pm, only one car per room, do not take food out of the check in area, don't fill ice chests with ice… TERRIBLE! Then we get into the room and the lights are super dim, the fridge and microwave are both dirty, and our towels were dirty and had hair on them! Also, the toilet is very loose and wobbles when you sit on it and the tub is gross. The room overall was not up to standards. We called the front desk to explain about the room and all Dennis had to say was "make sure that girl doesn't stay in the room with you guys". As if that wasn't bad enough I go downstairs to get the new "clean" towels and Dennis is still being rude and unprofessional. And the towels he tried to hand me also had hair on them! He argued with me saying the towels and room were fine and that we could find another hotel if we didn't like it.

Owner/manager is rude! Threatened to cancel our reservation just because we had two vehicles and didn't want to or try to accommodate us in any way. Will not stay here ever again.

The room was very clean, good, clean carpet, not outdated, nice towels, comfortable bed, and friendly, helpful staff. A hotel I wouldn't hesitate to visit again and recommend to others, something I rarely ever do. Not 5 star as parking can be a challenge and I wanted milk for my coffee (I bring & make my own) at 7 am but couldn't get in the office as it was locked.

This is a reasonably priced motel that is less than a block from public transportation. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful (I was allowed to check in early). However, the location is very noisy and the area a little sketchy, and there are few restaurants or other amenities nearby. Nonetheless, I recommend as economical lodging that is close to the airport and transportation.

Arriving at the Days Inn, I didn't expect much. I was surprised by the warm attendance of the woman behind the counter and the ease with which I got checked in. Heading to my room, I found it well furnished, clean, and without any kind of lingering odor. The beds are soft without swallowing me, although the pillows are a bit firm for my tastes. A miniature microwave and refrigerator, along with a large TV sat in a console, ready to use. Finding the entrance can be difficult at first but after a couple of times it became easy and lends a 'hidden wonder' quality to the location. I would gladly room here again.

They require a $150 deposit that they didn't warn us about until we'd already arrived (and we'd reserved before arriving). They also threaten to take out from the deposit if you accidentally bring a key card with you instead of leaving it in the room. A key card. These things cannot possibly cost more than $1 each. And they lose their magnetic properties that make them work if you get them within a foot of a cell phone or laptop, requiring you to go up to the front desk to fix it. Most sensitive buggers I've ever seen. The pillows are painfully firm with no alternatives, and while we reserved a room with a queen bed, we got what is clearly a full; they outright lied to us about the size. They outsource cleaning to a separate company not on site, so after early afternoon you cannot get towels or anything else you need. Housekeeping came into our room while we were gone and did the most terrible job I've ever seen. They left the covers a mess, clearly didn't change anything, and removed used washcloths and opened coffee cups from the room WITHOUT REPLACING THEM. So we came back to take a shower and all the washcloths were gone and the manager just did not care. Didn't offer to contact the company they use, didn't give us their number, nothing. Just outright glared at me the entire time as though I was ruining his night by even asking if anything could be done. The contempt he showed us was truly unreal.

Comfy, clean, smelt a little, guy at the front was not friendly at all. Based on the lack of customer service I would never stay again! Again guy at the front was really not friendly. I'm pretty sure he grunted at me. Why would they put this guy at the front. Rude.

RUDE terrible service! I checked in the woman at the front was being rude and unwilling to work with me. We got put into a smoking room and with a smaller bed and gave me a headache. I will never suggest anyone to come here.

We were very surprised to find a very clean well appointed room. Great shower. We have stayed at Days Inn — California, not so good. This was a quality room at quality price. Thank you.

This was probably the worse hotel experience I have ever had EVER! My cousin and I entered the doors and waited 10 minutes for the front desk person to appear. He had a blank rude stare and seemed annoyed that we interupted something. When he was asking me questions, he was mumbling. I asked him to speak up and he seemed more mad. After getting our room key, my cousin and I and our cousin who lived in Portland (who was showing us around) we walked up to the room and the guy ran out and started accusing that we lied about how many people that were in the room! I had told him 2 and my cousin was hanging around us. He started saying we were a lieing and whatnot. Afterthat I went down and cancledmy booking and he had the nerve to yell at my cousin! We stated that his attitude was rude, and the service was horrible! Never going here ever! We ended up staying at Cameo Motel! Much better service there.
