Very nice hotel. The was a party going on in the pool area all day and it was a little loud. There were children running around in the halls, however it was a party so that's excusable. Room was clean and breakfast was the usual waffles and cereal. They really need a protein for diabetics.

This place was disgusting! My sister in law had rented a room for a baby shower. The room was dirty and the rest room was horrible. There was poop on the ground. There were beer bottles. And when we asked for someone to clean it up the front desk said it was not their problem.

The rooms are half cleaned. The restroom not cleaned and sheets not changed on beds. Refrigerator broke and damaged food asked for a call back from management never got a call. AC went out in room called front desk 6 times no answer. I went downstairs to front desk and told the clerk my AC was not working she told me it was nothing she could do and that I had to wait until the repair man came the next day. Thin tells me I can open the window. Ask her to call management because I needed another room to accommodate me she calls the police. I finally found the GM of the hotel Singh and he says it's nothing he can do about it.

We stayed here one night (4/23/18) and we will never again. The carpets were dirty and stained. There were stains all over the walls and on the lamps. The "hot tub" was dirty and you can see the built on grime that no-one bothered to clean up. The lock on the window was broken and there was no screen. We did not sleep well. We spoke with the night clerk and she told us it was the only room they had. We called to speak with the manager and 3 times were told she was unavailable. To this day we have not spoken to her, we did however receive and email stating the room was cleaned after we left. Thanks Days Inn…

The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful, and the outside of the building looks fresh and new. Inside, though, is an old building, with old creaky floors, old doors, but new paint over the old, cracked paint. Some fixtures were inexplicably rusty, the bathroom outlet didn't work, and the door frame in there had a fair bit of water damage. Honestly, just ugly. I've stayed in motels as, uh, quirky or worse, but they were way cheaper than this place. It's not the worst place you'll ever come across and it WAS clean, but there will be better options for the price.

Despite the little sign next to the bed that says save the world and reuse your sheets, there is absolutely no opportunity for recycling at this place. Styrofoam is everywhere for use at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it would be great to have a few hard boiled eggs so there was some form of protein available. The new blue carpets in the common areas are a big Improvement, and it would be nice to see that extended to replace the very stained carpets in the room where I stayed. I would have liked to have had a small refrigerator for the beverages I carry when I travel. The clerks and the other help all seem quite helpful. My bed was very comfortable, and I thought it was a pretty good location, too.

Clean but outdated. A lot of fast food and chain restaurants nearby. Friendly helpful staff.

We stay here several times a year to visit grandkids. Best rooms are available through Wyndham rather that second hand booking sites. Clean and comfortable. Not fancy.

Nice clean rooms with a few things for breakfast and the staff is friendly.

1. The smoke detector was wrapped in plastic. When I took that off and tested it, I found there were no batteries. 2. There were stains and cigarette burns on the sheets. The sheets were not changed after I left instructions for housekeeping to change them. 3. The hallways stank of cigarette smoke. In summation, I would not advise staying here even though it is the least expensive place to stay in Mt. Vernon.

Not very private, felt like the cleaning staff were pretty intrusive and you had to let them in every day. This was not there fault though since I saw the lady Chinese manager yelling a her one day telling her she HAD to give me room service. Jesus Christ I really don’t need or want room service EVERYday. Other then that the beds were comfy. Tv didn’t have half the channels, the bathrooms are small and the door to the bathroom opens inwards so I was glad I wasn’t a bigger person since I’m 135lbs and had no space as it is. I switched over to Arlington motel which is 12 min away from mount Vernon, it’s cheap, nice and people leave you alone.

Good location but otherwise unimpressive. ” Room smelled strong cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. Heater is loud Entrance door in the hallway, right next to the room is being slammed loudly at all hours or the day and night. Breakfast was bland at best. Location is central.

Clean rooms, big bouncy beds, clean bathrooms. Its a decent hotel for decent price… But Nuthin to write home about.

An adequate place for an overnight stay. Pretty much what one would expect from a economy hotel in a small town. Reasonably comfortable, fairly clean. Slight mold smell in the lobby. You'll hear trains passing through the night. We had the misfortune to also hear at least two gearheads revving their cars repeatedly to the redline for about forty minutes, after which they either left of their own volition or were run off by the local constabulary.

Its nice. If it is winter and you go into your room, expext it to be cold. The heater works though. Good place. Quiet.

For the price you can't beat this place. Clean rooms, free breakfast and higher end shampoos and toiletries. Parking lot was well lit and close to the front door of the hotel. Staff was kind and courteous as well.

Stayed here weekly for SVC July, and Aug 2017. Love.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Room smelled good. Breakfast was decent. Orange juice was horrible lol.

Good value. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Very pleasant room. Very clean. I stayed an extended period of time and am being well taken care of.

Good location, room was tidy but gross at the same time. The bathroom was nice. Breakfast sucked, but attached to a Mexican restaurant.

2 stars only because the breakfast was good for a hotel Continental breakfast. Hotel needs serious updating and smells of smoke in a lot of places. Pool is small and was too frigid even for summer. The pool only has 3 feet or 5 feet depth. Nothing shallower or in between.

Would not recommend this motel to anyone and will not stay again. We requested and were told our room was non smoking and no pets but I had allergic reaction and the Manager would not even discount $20. The toilet in the first room was falling off and there was extensive damage to the ceiling from water and you could clearly see the yellow on the ceiling from smokers. I was privileged to a conversation a guest had with the front desk regarding bugs in there room and the smell of cigarettes. The breakfast was ok it was free so can't really complain about it. The girls behind the front desk were nice and helpful. Location was good though close to outlet stores and the Mall.

Toilet is tiny and crazy short, luckily I didn't need to go poop lol. Rooms are decent and what you'd expect for that price. Cheapest decent hotel we could find. Liked it overall, just would be better if they put in a normal sized toilet.

Great girl at the counter. Was helpful finding me a number for pizza that she knew would be open. Friendly and smiled. Other guests were friendly as well. Perfect place after a 36 hour straight drive with five min stops for fuel.

The service was good, but there is much noise outside of the room during all the night.

Not a bad hotel, a lot of rough people around there though.

Very scary place crackheads everywhere and we even found a dope straw in the supposedly clean room will never return to this place again and would not recommend bringing kids to this place unless your trying to get them not to become a crackhead.

Very dirty. Had to change bedding myself to start. Sheets had oil spots (or something else? ) Blankets had dirt on them too. Floors in all main area looked as though they hadn't been vacuumed or mopped in a very long time. Only 1 person working… He was very nice. But understaffed for sure. Inexpensive should never mean dirty. One word? Yucky!

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was smells a little although the bed sheets and the toilet was clean. I guess the carpeting and other fixtures were just too old to be reasonably clean. The AC took a little while to warm up the room but eventually it did. A putrid smell came out of the AC when it was put to hear. Overall, regular cleaning like need sheets and stuff was done reasonably well but the permanent fixture in the room need feel cleaning or replacing. The Wi-Fi is OK.

Oh how I wish I could find something nice to say about this hotel. I can't. It was the worst place I've ever stayed. Old, broken and dirty. Sheets were worn out and had hair on them. I was so tired that I wrapped up in a blanket that I had brought. Even the staff was bad. I will never ever set foot in that place again!

We stayed this past weekend in a 2 queen n/s for 2 nights at $69 per night. The room was large, updated and clean. Free Wi-Fi worked, but was not strong. The complimentary breakfast has waffles, cereal, toast, fruit, coffee and juices. It is an easy location to get to near loads of shopping and easy freeway access. The staff was very nice and helpful. Elevator was dirty — not sure is it was stained or handed been cleaned, but other than that the place was nice. Even had a little self contained totally private courtyard with a small pool, gardens, seating and a fountain. We ate at the Mexican place in the same building — delicious! I saw a post that the restaurant closed, but it was open as of January 2015, and very very good. We would stay here again!
