Great staff. Clean rooms. Cozy warm ambiance. Even got upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. We'll definitely be coming back here.

+This hotel is in close vicinity to Dulles airport. +Nice and clean room/bathroom. +Enough utensils present in Kitchen area so you can cook without much efforts. +Free laundry and Gym -Smoking smell in the hallway. -missing King size bed.

The hotel is close to the airport and is a perfectly fine establishment. Very affordable for the area. It'd be better for long term stays as it has a nice kitchen and nearly a full size refrigerator. Linens are not changed everyday but the staff will replace items as needed. There is a small pantry to purchase snacks and other sundries. A great running trail is across the street.

Love, love, loved my experience. I was on the first floor. My room was super clean. No bugs of any sort. The entire facility was immaculate. Courteous front desk staff. Curb appeal. I will stay here again and again and again.

The mattress was very comfortable and soft. Close to Dulles airport. Unpleasant being woken up by maid loudly knocking on my door — and then opening the door — — only stopped by security chain. (Didn't say anything since woken up from deep sleep and not sure at first who was knocking on my door — — or why — this was at 9:30 in the morning — — late arriving flight — — had wanted to sleep until ten). Called front desk, complained, only for it to happen AGAIN before I left. Not a great place to sleep in.

I stayed at Candlewood Suites in Dulles for 3 weeks. The help desk is always helpful and in they have people that talk in Spanish. If your stay is for more than a week, they clean the room once a week. Breakfast is only from their groceries store, but coffee is so delicious. They have laundry next to their gym. So it's a good excuse for doing laundry while you exercise. If I need to travel back to Dulles, I'm 100% I'll go back to Candlewood Suites :)

First time to WA DC and Our stay was Absolutely Fabulous! Rooms were clean and updated. Loved that it had a kitchen. Greg was amazing! He showed us where to get to some great food, and directions to the places we wanted to visit! Thanks so much Greg! If I could give 10 stars I would! I would definitely recommend!

From the moment I got there everybody was so kind they were all very friendly and helpful. Abe arranged for me to have a room over the phone — he saved my life from a horrible extended-stay experience. A special thanks to Elaine, Marta, Vicki, Karlo and Carmen, they all went above and beyond and I truly appreciate it. A few others deserve recognition Chris, Lorena, Rob and Greg, they were additionally very helpful I just didn’t see them as much as I saw the others. This place was very clean was nicely furnished and free washer and dryer, the only thing I did not like was the smoking right outside the building. It is a smoke free hotel however they were very many route guess that would smoke just right outside peoples windows. Pets are welcome I got to see so many dogs and it was so nice. I would say here any day and I give it five stars,

I needed a room for the night that allowed dogs and this one popped up when I did a Google search. Was totally worth the money; very nice, clean room, polite staff and a ridiculously comfortable bed.

Front desk customer service was very, very slow. Took about fifteen minutes to check us in when we were the only ones there and it was one in the morning. Hotel says it's smoke free, but I could distinctly smell someone smoking as I walked through the hallway in the morning. Room was very nice, though, and the bed comfortable.

So far this place would be perfect. Except for the cigarette smell in the hall way. Our room is not affected thankfully. Chris at the front desk was very helpful and kind. A short jump and we are at Dulles airport picking up our son. We are going to pick him up and run to Wegmans which is only 8 minutes away. I am a happy customer.

The suite was good and comfy. It has all the utensils you’ll need if you want to cook something or buy out and eat here. It has all the necessities for office work. It’s very affordable and cheapest one I’ve found. Cheap doesn’t mean bad quality here though. It is farther out from many attractions and from DC. It’s very convenient to many restaurants and stores. It’s close to the park and ride train and bus station. Also it’s close to the main highway for easy access. The service is very nice. Doing laundry here is free minus the detergent and many parking spaces. It’s great for individual, couple, family or friends. One thing it doesn’t have is a fan in the bathroom. Great stay here.

I wonder if I would stay here again! I needed a place to crash in for a night where I found this place which was very close to IAD and rented it. Rooms were ok but not very clean, there were hair on the bed and that was not ok. The only good thing about this place is the location and would recommend other hotels to people visiting this area.

Very inexpensive place. Clean and decent rooms for the price. Sink was clogged. Relatively quiet. I would probably stay again.

Despite the No Smoking signs throughout the hotel, it smells like a bowling alley. Other guests I spoke with had to move rooms due to their bed having hair and dirt on the sheets. Staff is accommodating and friendly.

Staff is super friendly. Nice room and comfy bed. The pet friendly policy made life much easier when traveling with our cat.

The staff is very friendly. Love that there is a fitness center, snack bar, n laundry facilties. The bed was comfortable. Clean room. Quiet and close to airport and most of all the price was very reasonable!

I arrived late and had trouble getting in the first two rooms I was assigned. The door locks were not working correctly. Chris at the front desk was very apologetic for my inconvenience and upgraded my room. The room was clean, the service was great! I would recommend staying here while in the area.

If you are looking for a home away from home, this is a great choice. Like your home, you'll get a microwave, stove, fridge and dishwasher. Like home you have a grill. And. Like home you don't spend a fortune to stay there and there is no daily cleaning service (they clean once a week). It is not a luxury resort, but at $60-80/night, you get a great value.

Very good attention. Close to Dulles airport. Many options for lunch and dinner nearby. Very close Access s the main Herndon highways.

Absolutely the BEST weekend-stay experience EVER! The location, staff, and facility are all top-notch. A special shout out to one of the Concierge: Greg. He's very personable… and it's obvious he values not only his job, but also the company's standards of excellence. I'll be on the hunt for other Candlewood Suites locations for future travels!

Great place. I stay here frequently because the rooms are very nice and you get great service. My only issue is the bedrooms in the suites don't have their own heat/AC, so the temps can fluctuate a lot during the night and make it kinda hard to sleep sometimes if it's really cold or hot outside. Otherwise this is the perfect place to stay in the area.

Good place to stay for the budget minded who are willing to bring or buy groceries. Saved us a ton on our DC trip. The staff was great. The room was clean and came with everything as advertised.

Really enjoyable stay in the suite. Loved everything, especially price! The halls smelled a bit questionable but rooms were fresh.

Reception was fast and friendly. Really very clean and cozy. Rooms were fresh and clean with all the convience needed. Really felt at home for the couple days here. Also shops and restaurants were close by not to mention so was the airport and absolutely no noise from airplanes. Would definately stay again.

I don't want to have to leave this review, but it's important that Candlewood and potential guests understand the poor staffing and customer service that led to the following. We were booked to stay 4 nights, though we ended up only staying only 1 because when our room flooded, we were left to deal with it on our own. Our toilet overflowed very badly and flooded our room. Rather than assisting us with the situation or inquiring about the severity, the one and only front desk person directed us to handle it individually. It turns out this Candlewood has NO WEEKEND MAINTENANCE STAFF. There was literally no one to handle the situation, no one even to call in. Further, we were told we would have to wait until the afternoon to be moved to a new room because the hotel was supposedly booked. My mother had to turn off the water supply (the flood was so bad it likely would have destroyed the room below us as well as ours), plunge the toilet (to no end — the plunger was poorly made, would not suction, and thus was ineffective), clean up human waste, and dry up the flood. My mother had to request towels for drying up the mess… once again no offer of help, no assistance whatsoever. They expected us to not only clean up the mess, but stay in the room until a new one opened up (the only room available was a downgrade as well). We were flooded, with no bathroom to use. We ended up calling our family members to come help us.

Only thing I wish they would change is the sodas. Give me the 20 oz bottles please. Otherwise rooms are nice though beds are high off ground, they have kitchenettes in them which are nice.

We found this place as a super deal online so we were a little skeptical. Boy, were we wrong. This place was amazing! Especially for the price! It was super clean and comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The staff was really friendly. You can even rent board games from the front desk. We were actually sad that we only stayed one night here.

I had a nice cozy room. The bed was ever so comfy. My room had a very nice kitchen amenity, I never expected that part. I guess hadn't finish doing my research. Overall the desk clerk Mr. Brandon was right on time with me asking for help with services such as, getting me a taxi and his knowledge about out here. I'm not from here but I would recommend this hotel as a nice getaway. And I am going to make it my getaway spot. I love it. ********1 for me. Donna.

Worked in the travel industry now close to 17 years, I have stayed at this location at least 6 times. I have given it a 2nd chance about 5 times to many. Number of items have been broken or not in proper working order. Staff has an excuse for everything and is very dismissive. The day staff is a little more on it than night desk. I believe this hotel has capability of being perfect. But the laziness and reluctance of the individuals working here as of right now will not allow this property to reach its potential.

Making the reservation was easy and the gentleman that answered the phone was respectful and prompt. When we arrived, there was a young gentleman at the front desk who was upbeat and friendly. The room was clean but there was a weird smell. Other than that, no problems with our stay.

I checked in after a very long day of traveling from North Africa. My reservation was ready and Art checked me in quickly. When I got to the room I found the air conditioning was not working properly. I called the front desk, Art came up right away and said he'd move me to another room. He asked me to wait right there and he would call me. He called told me the room number and brought my new key to me. This all took less than 15 minutes. Things happen and equipment breaks, but it's how the staff handles it that matters. Art did a great job for a tired traveler!

Quaint and very welcoming. Room was clean and spacious. Very nice place to stay.

Room 210. Visited my dad. He was a overnight guest. Desk attendant was nice. Building was clean. Nice laundry and workout space.

Affordable, but interior was beginning to show its age. Great new bedding though!

Everything is great except that it is not convenient for transfer passengers relying on public transit. No direct bus to Dulles on weekdays and even no bus on weekends, maybe Reston downtown that has a direct Fairfax Connector to Dulles is a better choice for overnight transfer.

This a home away from home place to stay. Staff members Sonia and Suzette are very welcoming and will help you in ways family helps family. They both go that extra mile to help make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as its suppose to be. Candlewood suites in Herndon is home away from home. I highly recommend ××××× stars.

Room had a very nice layout. I slept very well — the bed and linens were comfortable as was the air conditioning and heating managemebt. I was really disappointed with the "room service" which is really a 3rd party delivery service. I also did not like the small cupboard/pantry since it doesnt really provide many food options. There is no continental breakfast or bar. Room price per night seemed very reasonable at ~$85.

Comfortable clean bed (room) s. They did not have the type rooms that we booked available (should watch Seinfeld "The Reservation") so they gave us a second suite at a discounted price.

Had five nights here. Felt quite at home by the end of my stay. All the staff that I met were very friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the airport, with easy access to the main roads. Although nothing was actually broken in my room, it did feel a little 'tired', but then that felt like home to me! Could use a kettle in the room.

This is was wonderful. The bed is soft & comfortable, kitchen is very nice & cleen service is good. Bathroom with towels cleen & nice, we are feel good & rest. The information desk they're friendly & good. We pappy with candelwood.
