Just returned today from our stay and we are elated! It was the most romantic place we have ever been. We have been married 19 yrs. And have 6 children and it was the perfect escape. This is definitely one of the hidden treasures in Utah! The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was great and filling. The nostalgia was there and the History is fun. We stayed in the December room and it was beautiful even in May. If you like antiques and Utah History or the Victorian era you will love it.

I got a groupon deal towards a night at the Armstrong Mansion and set up a surprise stay for my husband for Christmas. It was a pleasant stay. The mansion was decorated beautifully for the holidays, the staff was helpful, and I found our room very clean. We enjoyed a nice breakfast. I found the regular prices perhaps a little expensive, but with the deal I got it was well worth our stay. For those reviewers that were so cold… perhaps they have rectified that. We stayed in December and found our room to be a little on the warm side — — nothing that cracking open the window didn't cure! We would definitely stay here again, and were permitted to look in the unoccupied rooms. The larger suites are beautiful and amazing! The attention to historical detail really shows; this is a beautifully preserved home.

We stayed in the "July" room a few days ago. It was quaint and we loved it. Linda was friendly and helpful when we checked in. Mark, the Inn Keeper is genuine and very attentive to the details that makes your stay pleasant. The room was clean and well decorated. They really care that we enjoyed our visit. The breakfast is really good! A spread of delicious cooked from scratch food that was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Very quaint and charming place. We stayed here on our honeymoon in the February room which has a spiral staircase up to a jetted tub and stayed again on our 15th anniversary in Sept room which has the largest tub of all of the rooms. If you are planning to stay during the holidays the December room is very elegantly decorated with a tree and lights etc. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious too. They will do a romance package for you as well and prep the room with candles etc. Which was pretty cool. My wife was surprised.

I will admit that I haven't even stayed there yet BUT I just have to comment on Mark's helpfulness in the reservation process. I am putting together an anniversary celebration, 27 years, and he was fantastic in making suggestions, applying all possible discounts and coupons, and noting our account so that my husband will have a WONDERFUL suprise when we stay there. I am looking forward to it! Admittedly the other staff were not so helpful, so I just made sure I asked for Mark. I suggest doing the same for others planning a stay there.
