It's not the four seasons but it was clean and quiet it served its purpose enjoyed the visit and the convenience of the pier.

There is no mirror in the bathroom or anywhere else in the room. The bed is too small. There was no remote for the TV, when we requested one it didn't work. Went back and got second one that barely works. Pool is nice.

Trying to still rebuild after Harvey, but good price and git the one closest to the pier!

Very disappointed with this hotel first of all very bad service secondly the Lights went out I had to go call someone to get the breaker back on. I stayed there for 2 days and none of both days they bothered to come and clean the room or bring me clean towels.

Memorial day weekend! Room was great! Cold air and very clean. We will definitely go back.

It's a great, quiet lodging w/clean rooms;outdoor pool, covered outside picnic/cooking area within walking distance of 5 restaurants, 2 bars, & sm. City waterfront park. Located on the waterfront of scenic Aransas Bay. Supremely beautiful sunrises-catch yourself one while you're relaxing on front of your personal private cottage!

Okay so the previous reviews had me a bit freaked out, but we could not find any place else. Sooooooo, the cottage we stayed in was clean and comfy. NO bugs or creepy crawlers. However the bed… it's not like super comfortable… but not horrible either. We will DEFINITELY be back! The owners are very friendly and sweet!

We stay in these cottages annually… we like having a nice bed, bath, and kitchen right by the water… sometimes there is something not perfect but we are very comfortable here…

So, my husband and son stayed there this weekend. Reviews are all over the place, so we decided to give it a try. Big mistake! First off, no hot water and the stove had no burners. They stuck it out for two days but after days of fishing, who can do without a good shower to clean up? They decided to come home a day early as they were stinky and uncomfortable. I decided to call the establishment and to my surprise, the lady first argued with me, stating that there aren't any stoves in the cottages (advertised in the pictures) when clearly a non-functional one was present and then admitted that they had a gas line out since last week but neglected to tell them upon check in. When I asked for a refund for the last night she beat around the bush and told me to hold on a minute. She then informed me that her boss had said "no" to the refund. I could clearly hear her conversing in a different language but when I asked to speak to that boss, she told me he was not available and that she had called him on the phone. I call BS on that one. To ad to the demise there were roaches in the room and shower. Sadly, the owners did not make any effort to correct the situation and even when confronted with a negative review, remained unfazed. On the bright side, the parking was good. Will spend our hard-earned money somewhere else.

Use to be a good place to stay This stay was awful. No gas because city refused permits. Which in turn no hot water. They did not even tell us until we really started complaining Will never stay here again.

Cheap and what you need when a big group. We got one that sleeps 6 for right about 100 or less. There were 2 queen beds 1 sofa pull out TV restroom with stand up shower table sink and fridge. If you want fancy go someplace else. This was perfect to just fish shower and sleep. Clean and COLD rooms.

I am currently staying here with my wife and kiddos, most reviews I've read on this place weren't that great we decided to take a chance on it anyway. Staff is extremely friendly rooms are clean and comfortable fully equipped small kitchen two beds and fold out you can not get a better deal for the price. Some minor issues with looks but it's clean and comfortable and no there are not bugs.

Quaint, but not bad for the price. Water pressure is low. Sink wasn't working. But, we made the best of it. Caught a small blacktip shark on the pier. I'd do it again.

We stayed for 1 night and it was great! Yes rooms bit outdated but they were clean and your there to fish go to the beach etc… Pool was nice and clean! Great staff nice quite! The pier oh my now well lit at night nice size and there is bait shop right next door! Will we be staying again? YES! Already have our cottage reserved! Give it a try! I did!

Pretty expensive, mediocre quality. Not-so-responsive staff. Door lock hardly worked. So did toilet. Window broken. Shower OK. Fridge too. Microwave put on stove (?!? ). Beds OK & clean. Expensive. Just a 1-minute walk from a nice pier. Could be a nice place but they don't care. I moved on to Pelican Bay place close by: nicer & cheaper & friendlier. Quite clear that earlier feedback did not 'arrive' at this place's management. Strange.

It was a cute little place. Perfect for me and my newly wed husband.

The beds are really old. It smells strongly of mold and mildew. The paint is peeling off the walls at the base boards where it has been wet. Supposed to have a private pier, but it is not locked so everyone not staying at bayfront cottages is on it making it crowded. I would not recommend this place nor will I be back. Would have left if I could have.

Great view. Free pier anytime. Great spot for anything.

My wife and I stayed at the bayfront this past weekend and we really enjoyed our stay the rooms very clean and no bugs and the pier well kept. The manager and family were very nice people. I recommend this place to anyone and for good mix drinks go to the agave sports bar stay away from the suger shack its trashy.

The management is really nice (the only good thing). The owners of this place are not that bright, and need to know what responsibility is when it comes to staying on top of everything and keeping workers in line and the owners lost their pride for this place. The health code workers really need to come to this place.

We made our reservations 3 months ahead of time. We wanted a separate room for privacy since we were going with another couple. We were stuck in the very back of the Bayfront Cottages. We arrived to our room, and clearly it had not been touched by a cleaning person. The floor was full of sand, the cabinets were disgusting, and it smelled musty. The only thing it had was a separate room with two separate beds in it. Which would have been fine if the pull out couch bed would have been able to open all the way (the table was in the way) and would have had sheets on it. We were stuck sharing a room. (we made do) then we discovered that the shower didn't even work. We went to the front desk to tell them, and instead of moving us to a different room, we were given the keys to a room two doors down to be able to shower. The lights didn't even work in that room, and it took 15 minutes to get warm water. To top all this off, there were roaches everywhere, and not a single dish to cook with in the kitchen. It is a good thing we brought our own, although I have NEVER stayed in a suite that had a kitchen but not kitchenware. No discount was offered, no apologies for the inconvenience. Nothing. Might I also add that no fitted sheets were on any of the beds? The flat sheet was used to cover the mattress, and the only thing you had to cover with was that nasty itchy quilt crap. I will never go to this place again.

Ive been coming here since I was a little kid and now I bring my own family. Things have just been getting BAD here. No water pressure. Mold on shower curtians. None of the outside lights work so its pitch black out here. BUGS in your room. Cleaning ladys dont make beds anymore. I had to ask for more towels and tp everyday and we stayed here 3 nights. Lets just say I will not return and will be looking for somewhere else to stay now. I only really came here for the fishing pier and now thats even getting messed up.

Different staff this time. They worked well with my family, and we enjoyed the stay.

Not the best place to stay. It's doesn't seem dirty but it makes you feel unsure about there cleaning process. Guy at the office is very scatter brained. Won't be coming back here again. Oh and the water pressure is bad. It wasn't bad enough for me to go somewhere else just don't think I'll be back again.

Not what it used to be. Current owner doesn't maintain the property as well as he should. Beds are made of stone, some lights don't work, water pressure is terrible. Lights don't work on the "lighted" pier. Refused me a refund when I decided to move elsewhere, they had already charged my card for the full amount of the stay. Won't be back here again.
