First thing when I walked in the room it smelled extremely of marijuana, then I turned on the built in light in front of the window and it kept flickering on and off. One of the beds was extremely uncomfortable and it looked like a dog chewed the bottom of the bathroom door. The tub took ages to drain and nobody likes standing in a foot of water while showering. Then one morning housekeeping didn’t even knock. Also the ac was either too cold or sweating hot and no in between, I was so uncomfortable. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and nice, very helpful lady, she was the best part of the experience. I booked a smoking room supposed to be on the ground floor and ended up up stairs. I definitely will not return.

This is A downright dirty and disgusting hotel. Had to ask for towels and toilet paper daily and never cleaned the room completely. Worst of all the linens on the bed had pubic hairs in them. Forget breakfast it was so bad dogs wouldn't eat it. Clearly not cooked fresh daily. Last but not least every time I went down at night to get toilet paper and towels the person was missing at the reception and I had to wait 10 to 20 mins for someone to help me. This place is not even worthy of 1 star… I wish I could put a negative star. I do not recommend this place.

Very nice place to stay have done many renovation since Harvey the staff is really nice and will do everything they can to help please you I'd recommend this place to my friends this day the prices are reasonable.

My family and I have been here since the beginning of hurricane Harvey. During Harvey the downstairs flooded. The owners could have shut the entire hotel down but didn't. We never lost electricity or water upstairs. Yes the office was closed. IT WAS FLOODED! The staff may not have been in the office due to the water but there were workers here and those workers made sure that the people here we're ok and did whatever to help. Quality inn went through this storm just like everyone else in this area did and they have done it with style and grace. Would I stay here again? Absolutely without a doubt. In fact, I'm booking my room for the next hurricane. I've evacuated during other hurricanes and never got the level of compassion and caring that I received here. The owners and staff are wonderful.

Furnishings are very old, mattress is horrible, pillows are horrible, no phone in room, no breakfast as described, not a place to go if your looking for nice get a way, no one hardly ever at front desk, tried several times even at checkout no one there! Would not recommend this place at all!

For the price they charge, with all the construction STILL going on, definitely not worth it, will be a very long time, before I consider anything in Port Arthur, Texas.

The sheets and linen were not washed on the bed. I was itching all night long on the bed. No shampoo in the shower. Flood damage on first floor. The charge was $200 for one night. There was no phone to call the front desk or find any help for services.

The sheets and pillow cases were washed in a low cost laundry detergent. I was constantly itching night long. But that may also mean that they just make the bed from the previous customer and did not clean them. Allot of stains on the bed skirt. No breakfast since the hurricane and there is allot going on with repairs to the hotel. The price was very steep for a hotel that is in a small town like Port Arthur. But then I realized they are taking advantage of the situation where many people need a place to stay. No soap in the room for cleaning yourself and no phone in the room either. The shower was nice and the toilet clean. Hopefully they will get it back to the way it was.

The hotel smelled very bad. There was no remote control and the TV would change channels. Shower curtain had mildew and a bugger on it. I was very disgusted. Would never stay there again.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful, but we did not have a good experience at all staying there… We had to change our room 3 times. First the ac didn't work, the next room the TV didn't work, and finally after we get into the 3rd room for the night the beds were so uncomfortable! we will not be going back and do not recommend anyone to go either!

Terrible! Filthy! Staff didn't care about anything. The hotel stunk SO BAD! We asked for air freshener and I sprayed the hall and our room. Pets roaming the halls. It was just sick. Left a day early.

Great rooms, friendly service, only complaint is that once breakfast has run out they don't make more till you ask. So it's a little wait but good food.

First look the hotel is a little run down. They gave me a room that was occupied by someone else. The second room was ok. Just feels as cheap as it looks. All in all its a place to sleep.

It was sufficient. Wifi had issues and an electrical outlet was bad. Soap amd shampoo could be better and there was not an ironing board nor an iron.

This place is pure highway robbery if you purchase a weekly rate of $380 and if you do not stay the entire week and check out early you will not be refunded your remaining balance on the weekly rate. The service is horrible they have bed bugs in their beds they don't clean on time and the breakfast is sucks. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here for a week because you're going to get ripped off if you check out earlier than your weeks time is up.

As long as you bring your own covers, a thing of Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, and a black light you're good to go. For an overnight stay, I would rate Quality Inn & Suites a shining 3.5/5

I had a good 2 nite stay here, room was clean comfortable and nice, continental brkfst was ok, atmosphere was good all around, I would stay again.

New Management is the worst ever. I have been staying at the Quality Inn for 10 weeks now with my job. My rent was $320 a week, after 30 days it went down to $280. The new Management came in and raised it to $330 weekly which I agreed to. Now the new Management wants to raise my rent to $409 weekly. I guess you can’t get any more PRICE GOUGING than that. A guy walks up next to me one evening and he wanted to pay $300 for his rent, he was upset because the new Management was trying to charge him $320. He was also upset because all the keys opened other rooms. I didn’t believe him so he walked up to my room with me and opened the locked door to my room with his key. Talk about lack of security and privacy. When I asked what was going on, the new Management said he was with a company. So I told him that my company has had a contract with this hotel for years, and that’s when he decided that his clients didn’t mean a whole lot to his business by his response. I will encourage everyone to stay away from this GREEDY PRICE GOUGING NEW MANAGEMENT at the QUALITY INN in PORT AUTHUR TEXAS.
