The hotel staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Old building with upgrades, 1st floor still under repair from Harvey so most rooms are 2nd floor and up. Pool is nice and love the Court yard. I have stayed here here before the Harvey flood. Nice staff and quick check in. Would stay again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hallway was super hot for some reason and that was really uncomfortable. The rooms were great though.

Its a very nice place. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They gave us dinner recommendations at the (Neches River Wheelhouse) great sea food spot. I would stay there again.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean all around and air conditioning worked well. Nice selection of TV channels and close to a nice Mexican restaurant.

My husband and I have been here at the Hampton Inn for 6 weeks helping with Jehovah's Witnesses disaster relief. We found our accommodations very comfortable and the staff pleasant. The ones we came in contact with daily bear commenting on. Shannel, our housekeeper, took very good care of us. She is amazing! Rosario, is a sweetie and did a wonderful job on the breakfast each morning. Jarvis, Josh, Patricia and Sharnee, at the front desk, always had a smile and pleasant greeting for us. After this long, we feel like we are leaving family. I would recommend this Hampton Inn.

Horrible accounting. I paid for a room with Hilton Advance Purchase, and I've now been charged two ADDITIONAL times by Hampton Inn & Suites for that same room. I've had to contact Hilton customer service twice to resend the purchase receipt to the hotel. The hotel fixed it once, and now I'm having to push to get it fixed again. Ridiculous. I'm waiting for the second additional charge to be reversed, because management is out of the office for the week. I've now paid three separate charges for the exact same room. Disappointing at best.

UPDATE: So I've heard back from the Manager & the Sales Rep, who were very courteous and professional. They both apologized, took complete responsibility for their mistakes, and explained the context in which those mistakes took place. You know what? Life happens. Things happen. And all anyone can do is learn from things and move on. I wish the entire staff nothing but the best and sincerely hope that they continue to learn, grow, and prosper. I think it speaks to the character of all involved that they took time to try and make things right. Unfortunately, due to sheer incompetence on the part of an uncaring and inconsiderate staff, I won't be able to do so. I have spent the past week trying to secure a hotel block to help guest attending MY GRANDMOTHER'S FUNERAL find accommodations. I was assured by the Sales Manager that she would assist me and have spent days chasing her around via phone ever since. Today I called and asked to speak to a manager who also apparently lacks the basic level of courtesy necessary to treating a grieving family with dignity, courtesy, and respect. So I'm fairly confident that they'll prove unable to satisfy any of you. Save your money. This place is second rate in every imaginable way.

Stay here quite often when I come to this area for training. Very nice staff and rooms are good. Good parking and location.

I have never stayed in a place with kind of customer service. This place is is an A+ by far. I usually don't even take the time to write reviews for places, but I decided that if anyone ever deserved for me to take the time, it's this wonderful staff. From the lady at the front desk, to the general manager, and especially the housekeeper/manager! They all went above and beyond. My wife and I feel so at home which is especially nice during the holidays!

The building is currently undergoing remodeling from the hurricane but the staff was incredibly friendly. We greatly enjoyed their company. The room was clean also.

Great service. Room was really nice. Pillows were a bit soft for my tastes. They allowed me to park my motorcycle right in front of the entrance to the building, under the cover where they would be able to see it. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Was there on my office visit, the rooms were clean and liked it, but the smell in the room was awful — it smelt like mold. Could not tolerate it. They have de-humidifiers in the hallways to keep them fresh — I guess they should do that in each room or open the windows once in a while.

Great Place. Would have been a 5 star rating but free breakfast not good. Everything else is good and great compared to other hotels I have stayed in Port Arthur. Staff is exceptionally friendly.

The front desk help — both days, morning and evening — were extremely pleasant, helpful, and customer-focused. You don't get that too often anymore… anywhere… just sayin'. Room was nice, appeared clean. Restaurants were located conveniently nearby.

Great service, breakfast, and environment. Greeted us every time we entered the building. Room was cleaned by Gladys and she did great.

The staff is very nice and helpful! They greeted my family and I every time we came down, and even upgraded our room when they seem we had kids! And breakfast selection is awesome.

I stay here a lot. Great staff and a nice place. Better breakfast than most plus receptions Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Wi-Fi doesn't work. Kept telling me I was the only complaint they got and did not go beyond that statement. No offer of help on my issue. 4 year hilton diamond member.

Management and staff are awesome! If you need anything they don't hesitate to get it done for you! The gym equipment was broken at the time and they got me a pass to a local gym for the week.

My visit at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Port Arthur was very nice. The hotel is beautiful and the people there was very professional and friendly. I would definitely tell my friends.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The staff were horrible. I don't think the room had been cleaned at all. There were two lights burned out, water in the shower was cold and on the top of that when I tried to get anything done about it the manager was very rude. If I would have got her name while I was there I would have called their corporate office.

I will never stay at another Hampton Inn and diffently not the one in Port Arthur Texas. We arrived on Thursday Night and when I checked my bank account they had over 1000.00 pending. By the time we left on Sunday morning they had over $1600.00 pending on my account. I told the lady at the front desk that if I had not brought cash, I would not have been able to get home. It was Wednesday before they had taken out what they wanted and then charged $250.00 for smoking in my room which we did not do. And then tacked on another $20.63 for takes on the smoking fee. We went down about 4:30 am every morning to smoke in front of the hotel entrance. We talked to everyone on duty when we went out. Now why would we go out side that early if we were going to smoke in the room? Most of the ladies there were very friendly, and the breakfast was good. But I hate being charged for something I didn't do.

Very pleasant people excellent breakfast no complaints what so ever I highly recommend staying here.

Stayed 3 nights and staff was always helpful and friendly. Never once did any of the staff act as if they were being bothered. The complimentary breakfast varied daily and was a treat. When front desk person Kim was working she always appeared to go above and beyond to make sure every guest enjoyed their stay. She appears to be a model employee and would be an asset to any team. I would definitely stay there again and recommend Hampton Inn and Suites Port Arthur to everyone.
