The hotel was definitely a luxurious experience! The pool area is family friendly and great in this Texas heat, it was just perfect for an escape! The lack of staff in the hotel restaurant made for an extremely horrible service. Even though our waiter was attempting to rectify several issues, it was truly deplorable. Hopefully, this can be rectified….

A Rolls Royce Cummings was stolen right in front of the hotel while the 2 valet parking attendants were standing right there!
The car owner had just parked the car, handed the fob to the attendant plus a $100 tip and within 30 minutes of parking the car, it went missing! A homeless guy got in and drove it away from right in front of the 4 Seasons hotel with the Valet parking attendant standing there!
Car was recovered by Houston PD over 6 hours later clear over, away in North Houston!

Excellent service, extremely clean, atmosphere is amazing, staff professional and soooo nice.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are large furnished. When we got our room, it had a window and in the adjoining room that belonged to the room had none. So we complained and got the room next to it, which had two large windows and allows for a wide view.

The service, on the other hand, was the purest disaster. Once the wine glasses were missing, which were not delivered on call, then not a single suction was made in the room.

Been to this hotel a number of times and I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience. The hospitality is top notch and the hotel is a good location of downtown Houston. Plenty of places to visit nearby for food and lots of bars in the area too. There’s fast food, casual, and fine dining all within walking distance as well as a grocery store. Within the last few years there’s been 3 new hotels pop up and they have that new feel and newer amenities. Not a knock on the 4 Seasons but they are an older hotel.

I went to check on some rooms for an upcoming event and Senai Petros the Profile director took time to show me all the rooms and the extra ammentitis like the Top Golf room’s and pool areas! I’m at ease that this function will not only be epic but go down without a hitch! Great job so far!

There 4 Seasons brunch is fabulous. I didn't stay at the hotel, but Sunday brunch is with the drive. The food is impeccable and the service was extraordinarily attentive. We took the full 4 hours for brunch enjoying each station for food. They open the kitchen area during brunch as well. The endless Bloody Mary's and Mimosa were included in the brunch. Go with an empty stomach and pace yourself. It is delicious!

The staff is friendly, the location is central, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and service is excellent. I was treated with respect and my stay was enjoyable. The pool was amazing and I enjoyed nights reading with a resort style feel. Wouls definitely recommend if traveling for business, or leisure.

What a refreshing place! I stopped by on my walk to have lunch. Joey is a first class bartender. Very classy location populated with professionals. Light lunch menu at the bar. Italian restaurant on site with good reviews. This place is ideal for a short stay or a group hang out. Make sure and take time to enjoy it for yourself.

An oasis in downtown Houston, complete with upscale restaurants and a pool cabana. I love the elegant lobby. Spa is relaxing and staff is always friendly. Professional staff, easy to park, and located near many night spots including House of Blues and Discovery Green. A real treasure. Great for meetings or for parties.

Our Baylor College of Medicine reunion was held here. The accommodations were luxurious. The meals were superbly prepared, as if you were dining at a 4 star restaurant. The staff were professional, polite, cheerful, and very friendly.

This hotel needs a good renovation. The price is not according to what today is offered on other Sites.

I stay in Hotels 20 nights per month and it is rare to that I remember a place. If I do it's usually due to a specific staff member or a certain item in the Hotel. The experience at the Four Seasons Houston has been by far the most enjoyable and memorable in a long time. Everyone here has been excellent and all their amenities are top notch. As of today this is my only choice when in H Town.

Lovely lobby, great location downtown Houston. Nice pool with a bar and fire pit. Two restaurants, both delish! Staff is professional. Lots of nightlife within walking distance at Discovery Green and House of Blues. We like it.

A friend was staying at the hotel while directing a play at the Alley and I visited her frequently. The suite was gorgeous minimalist design with a kitchenette, 2 bedrooms with excellent linens, comfortable bed, robes and spa soaps and shampoos. Also you can get valet parking for free by eating or drinking at their amazing restaurant. Try their delicious brussel sprouts and fish tacos. Delish! Amazing drinks as well! Go go go!

Loved this place, everyone was wonderful and very helpful. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond with flowers waiting for me in our room and a wonderful piece of cake for us to enjoy. Breakfast and dinner was delicious.

Excellent service. There are nicer, more posh, hotels… BUT the staff understands what is needed and provides a “can do” attitude. Beds are fantastic, pool and wait staff were on top of needs. We’ll be back every time. Nice work!

I am speechless. The service was impeccable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Four Seasons to everyone. The location was prime, and it was an excellent venue for a conference for professional marketers and business development professionals. Much to do in walking distance too. Outstanding.

I had a massage and facial appointment yesterday, the entire experience was perfect. The entire staff was prompt and professional, Harley did a great job showing me around since it was my first time at the spa. If anyone is looking for a nice spa day, I’ll refer them to this spa.
Ruth, was my massage therapist. She is kind and polite, and she payed attention to my pressure request and trouble areas.
Keturah, was my esthetician. She listened to my skin needs and explained the product line. She has a great technique for facial massage. Definitely a natural!

Beautiful rooms, incredible staff. Very comfortable, top rate hotel. Outdoor heated pool and deck area, rotating flavors of infused water. The bar has a fantastic Whisky/Whiskey collection, some great craft cocktails, and knowledgeable bartenders. Good guns too.

We stayed at the Four Seasons to celebrate our 15th anniversary. They gave us a complimentary upgrade on rooms, and upon arrival there was a champagne on ice along with a piece of delicious cake and a note of congratulations. I had mentioned the anniversary on the phone, but for them to do all of that was amazing! Every staff member was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The only negative was their amazing Sunday brunch, one main reason for the stay, wasn't happening that Sunday I suppose because of New Years Eve. It was a minor thing, but I did not see that it was getting cancelled anywhere online or at the hotel. However, the Los Angeles Lakers were also staying at the hotel while we were there, so that was pretty cool. Overall our experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend the Four Seasons to anyone.

Great experience with a large suite overlooking the Toyota Center. Concierge was amazing and arranged tickets at the theatre for us. Only issue was around printing our flight boarding passes. Our baggage documentation was printed but was resolved at the airport.

Nice hotel. They had some type of construction in the morning directly below our room that was really loud. Wish they would have waited til people checked out or not booked rooms directly above the construction.

I was not an overnight guest. I was there for a social event which was well planned. We were greeted, given directions, valet was amazing, staff was helpful. I could go on. My husband an I considered getting a room but really we live 25 min away and had overnight sitters so we just went home.

Had a lot of fun at a company holiday party. The best parts of the hotel we're the Top Golf rooms in their bar and the room.

Four seasons was great! Internet was great for a hotel. Close to everything downtown I needed. The Skywalk to the food court and nearby office buildings is great. (although I wish it was better labeled with signs and directions). Check in was very quick. Room was exceptionally clean. Every employee was extremely friendly. 10/10 would recommend. Will stay here again when visiting downtown Houston.

Anyone living in Texas, and certainly anyone living in the Four Seasons Hotel needs to find a reason to spend the weekend in this historic and enjoyable location. We called in our reservations to make sure we scored a good room we were upgraded from there. The room, or I should say suite, was gigantic. The ceilings were ginormous and I'm only glad I didn't have to get a christmas tree that would look proportional to the living room area. It was a nice sized ball court with dining area. Then there was a dressing room (for my extra t-shirt and socks! ) and then the bedroom with an opulent bathroom. The hotel, but clean, well maintained, and just a great place to relax. Staff were perfect. Nice, friendly and engaged. We would certainly come back — and will come back — as soon as we can find the excuse.

Excellent service, nice room, good location, slow restaurant service for breakfast. If traveling with kids, make sure to get a little plushy for them at check-in (armadillo, longhorn, or horse… nicely Texas-themed).

Really glad to hear that this hotel had a part in helping people in need. BUT the rooms are more like a motel. Four season has slapped their logo onto a 3 star hotel at best and is charging a 5 star rate. I have stayed at many Four Seasons, this one is by far the worst. STaff was nice, hence the 1 star.

The Four Seasons Hotel was absolutely incredible during Houston's darkest hours. My family evacuated here, the staff has been working round the clock the take care of all guests and my goodness are they doing a good job of it. It feels more like family in this time of crisis, all of us are coming together to help one another. They even offer reduced rates for emergencies like this one while maintaining amazing customer service. I feel lucky just to be here.

Four seasons is the best! I live close by the four seasons and did not supply myself with enough food during hurricane Harvey. I was able to walk over to the four seasons and get something to eat with no problem. The food was great I brought it home and enjoyed thoroughly. The next day I try to go over to the Marriott Marquis, through the rain and wind. The Marriott (which I am a member of Marriott club rewards) would not even let me in the front door when I told them I was their neighbor and just wanted to get a quick burger to go. So thank Four Seasons for being a good neighbor during hurricane Harvey and always.

Spent 3 nights at the Four Seasons over the 4th of July this year. Best experience ever. Mark, front desk manager and Joanne (also from the front desk) could not have been nicer. We had my daughter, her boyfriend, and 2 of their other friends join us for a perfect day at the pool, complete with a 4th of July BBQ, drinks, and lots of fun games around the pool. Not only is the place beautiful and well-maintained, the staff was exceptional. One night, as we strolled back from dinner, Joanne greeted us by name in the driveway of the hotel, asking how we enjoyed our dinner! Truly first class operation. We'll be back!

Bottle and bayou is breathtaking. One of the most beautiful barsvin the world. Very 80's style. Ben our waiter was terrific and very courteous. We will definitely go back again. They make great old fashioned.

My parents stayed in the hotel while visiting for the weekend, so my wife and I swung by and we all grabbed drinks in the hotel bar. The entire building is newly renovated, and it's beautiful. I didn't get any food, but the cocktails were excellent and reasonably priced. I know my parents were very happy with their room — roughly $230/night for a pretty decked out suite. The room was beautiful when I went up there.

Great wedding venue, the hall was large enough for over 200 guests to sit comfortably. Food and service was great as well.

I vacationed in Houston for a week with friends and decided to visit the Four Seasons Spa. I absolutely enjoyed my experience! Of all the beautiful things that enhanced the experienced my spa professional Chloe was OUTSTANDING! My treatment with her felt more like a spa journey than a spa day! I wish I could have enjoyed more services and next visit I definitely will! Thank you Chloe and Spa!

Was at the Four Seasons for a professional cocktail reception. Waitstaff were on point and always available but never in the way. Would happily go back.

Everything about this place nearly perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was an issue with my room, and the quickly resolved the issue, and were so kind as to offer a gift to compensate my problems. The spa was under renovation the last time I stayed here, but if it is as nice as it used to be, it will be great.

Drinks were good but bartender had to come back and ask me 3 times which type of liquor I wanted. Bulleit and 7. Not too hard.

Great location for working downtown. Luxurious room, beautiful lobby and bar. Lack of decent internet in the 21st century is a no go and keeps it from 5 stars. Free high speed internet is expected. At this price of hotel, to be nickel and dimed for access to Internet is a joke.

Comfortable in-room amenities, engaging & friendly staff make the stay mostly comfortable. Being downtown, the night sounds from outside make for interrupted sleep. Between air horns, car alarms & people stumbling around the hall, making their way into their room loudly at 1am… the sleep wasn't sound even in a comfortable bed. I'd stay here again — city life is city life.

The Four Seasons in Houston was beautiful. We had a great room overlooking downtown and everyone was helpful. No complaints.

We had brunch at Quattro recently. The restaurant was busier than during our past brunch experiences and they felt a little understaffed. The food was good but they had trouble keeping everything stocked as well. Overall still a good experience.

The downtown location makes parking kinda difficult for non-overnight guests. However, there are ample parking around the area. The people and service are friendly and excellent.

This is a very comfortable and exciting luxury hotel. Great service, fitness centre and an outdoor pool facilities. Unfortunately my job can't make me more time in this hotel.

Very expensive for minimal service. Rooms were clean but nothing special compared to hotels that are cheaper. Doors slam, so every time someone enters or leaves their room in your hallway, it's load in your room. Food is overpriced for the quality of food you receive. Definitely not worth the price.

We go to the Christmas Day brunch every year. What a wonderful buffet feast they present. A great way to spend Christmas Day with the family.

The hotel provides a two device wireless connection for free or a premium plan with four devices. The internet is snappy compared to other hotels I have stayed in, although it is only 1.15 MB/sec download. The rooms are a nice size and I like the classic touches. The Four Seasons does not have a shuttle service to/from the airport and there is a fee to park a car here each night. I can understand the parking, since space here is at a premium. There is a public parking garage next door if you need it. I do not understand the lack of shuttle service. The walk to the convention center is only three short blocks (including the green to get to the front door. ) I would stay here again.

We stayed here on our honeymoon for three nights (seven years ago), and our experience was wonderful—no complaints whatsoever.

IF I COULD LEAVE A ZERO STAR REVIEW THEY WOULD GET IT Staff is awful and belittles you if you do not walk in wearing name brand everything willing to throw hundreds at them. They are not on the same page and do not deserve the time of day. I have never been so angry.

Very modern hotel seems some what high end. Service was good and it's in a good location. I would stay here again.

Pros: — The night manager, Yvette, was exceptionally professional and an incredibly genuine person; Yvette went out of her way to accommodate us and our needs. Justin, the night concierge at the residential part of the hotel, was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. — Discovery Green is nearby Cons: — Unsightly hotel — No direct ramp for wheeled luggage at the entrance (it's off to the side) — Young and confused valet (our company car was almost given away to a rental car employee) — Very low ceilings in the dark lobby — Some lamps in rooms did not work — One lamp in our room had no switch to turn it on — A Q-tip was behind my nightstand — The bidet needed a more thorough cleaning — The "pool" view (which cannot be helped) was a sea of parking lots and a substation — Hotel is completely surrounded by parking garages and corporate office towers — Not much to do near hotel — One of our drivers decided to stay dry in the Suburban rather than getting out with one of the two umbrellas in the vehicle, thus, making us walk into the parking lot while raining.

I had the most wonderful expierence with Freddy Torres, concierge. Fantastic service.

WOW! Got an amazing rate (under $200), a birthday treat, and a room upgrade! The service was perfect as well, so I am not sure why it has a 3.9 rating. Maybe I am easy to please, but I find very few hotels are actually 5 star anymore and this one was from the front curb to the room and comfy bed. Wished they used Non-SLS and Paraben free bath products, but otherwise it was an amazing stay at a convenient and surprisingly cozy hotel in Downtown. Special thanks to Kara for her time and attention. Honestly, this is my first Four Seasons stay, but it certainly won't be my last, even if I have to pay a bit more. Great job Four Seasons Houston.

Excellent service with a smile! I stayed here back in May and everything was up to par as far as service/cleanliness and that is why I am giving my usual 4 stars — but this location could definitely use a "facelift". I spoke to one of the front desk managers and he told me is that this is the first location in the Americas' and they are looking forward to a much needed renovation beginning this summer. So I'm assuming renovations have started and hopefully they will be done soon. Now that I live in Houston, I doubt I will ever stay here, but I do love their pool/gym amenities. They have a very nice outdoor, rooftop pool with a full bar and waitstaff, which you should try and enjoy if you go for a visit.

I'm sure that this place used to be nice, but that was obviously a while ago. Not that this place is bad, per se. I just expected a whole lot more for my $250+ a night. I've stayed at nicer Best Western hotels.

Big fan of the Four Seasons, stayed here on a whim and the room was particularly nice for being a standard room. The bed was comfy and the shower was large. They have great amenities here as well. Had breakfast at the restaurant in the morning and that was delicious as well. It's a little price but you are at the Four Seasons so it's to be expected.

I am a huge fan of the Four Seasons now. My husband reserved a suite for a weekend getaway this past weekend for the proximity of the Four Seasons to the House of Blues. Literally, just across the street from it. It is steeped in luxurious appointments in the foyer. But, best of all, were all the cheerful employees. Everyone, and I mean everyone, that we encountered, from the door help, parking valets, concierge, to the staff at Quatro, was delightful and helpful. The suite was sumptuous, spacious and spotless. We dined at Quatro one evening and loved it so much that we returned for an even more splendid Sunday brunch the next morning. I'm a picky traveler and felt wonderfully pampered from the moment I set one toe into the hotel. We will definitely return and recommend to everyone.

Overpriced for the decor and location (really dead on weekends). Hotel room bathrooms need an update. Stayed here for an anniversary weekend getaway thinking I'd be blown away. Some things were left to be desired. Hi-speed internet costs money here. What? For $285/night, I'd think that would be free. The bed was comfortable and sheets were very soft; housekeeping was quiet (never saw them, but we were always taken care of twice per day for service and turn-down) ; the pool area was nice with friendly, attentive servers. The fitness area was great. Again, the hotel rooms need updating to compete for these high prices and tipping expectations.
