I used to enjoy coming here until the GM started working behind the counter. She obviously doesn’t know what she’s doing, because she charged my credit card instead of the one on the confirmation. First she swipes my card (which I assume is for incidentals and has never happened before. But hey…), then after she swipes she lets me know what she’s swiping for. It’s the total charges for my room. My company pays for the room, not me. Ever. Then I tell her “no, the company pays for it. ” She hurry’s up and cancels the transaction (so she says) and I believe her. She figures things out and I leave. Later, I checked my account and there was a $1210 charge. I go back to the hotel and ask Julie (the GM) about it. She tells me it’s a “hold. ” I told her she can call it what she wants, it’s not in my account anymore. She then states, and I quote, “I’m not going to argue semantics with you. ” I told her she should be arguing with me at all. She turns around and walks away while I’m trying to talk to her. Her rudeness and lack professionalism, empathy and accountability is why I won’t return to this place. After all of this, when they sent a fax to my bank about reversing the charges, she put on the fax that it was my fault she charged my card (I’ll attempt to attach a picture of the fax). Totally unprofessional and I hope that her managers read this and fix the problem. This hotel definitely does not appear to care about their guests. Nice rooms, horrible management.

Looks nice and knew from the airport it's really expensive probably because it's in the middle of oil country but it's nice to stay at a new hotel.

Rude old Mexican lady at the front desk was a complete idiot. I guess I can't b to picky in crappy little towns who you hire. I will never stay there again. Me and my friend are traveling together for work and had separate rooms, when he didn't get up for work I went to the front desk to ask her to give him a wake up call… she couldn't even figure out what room he was in. After putting us in those rooms the night before. When we got there the first day the room we booked already had somebodys bags in it. Told the front desk and they said we would have to wait till the guy came. Waited until 7 when our check in time was 3. Solid hotel with good breakfast, snacks out all day. Good location in Pecos for working around the area. Has good curtains that almost fully black out the room if you're sleeping days.

This is the hotel I use every time I come out to Pecos. It has a lovely staff and the manger is always on top of everything. It is very clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the industry out here or just passing through.

Room was clean. Price is ridiculous. Almost $500.00 for one night! Equal or better hotels all over this country for way less money. Breakfast area looked like a plague of locusts had come through. Not good enough.

Horrible manager rude and unprofessional. My company booked us rooms there and they needed a card on file. They ended up charging me and my company for the two nights we stayed. And they haven't answered me back.

Big clean rooms, my fur baby was welcome, a gift snack package and a great breakfast.

The people were great and the place is like new. The breakfast was outstanding and ready on time. The room was clean and spacious. I would stay here again.

I have stayed here a ton of times for work. The rooms are always clean. The staff is always helpful.

Cleaning service is a joke, even if you tip. I tipped 5$ one day (didn’t have anything smaller), they threw away my soap and shampoo and didn’t leave new ones. Floor was not vacuumed and trash bins were not emptied. Management doesn’t care and won’t do anything to improve service.

I stay here pretty frequently. They meet your basic needs, friendly staff, some of which know my name. My room has always been pretty clean.

Rooms are nice, very clean. The staff does a pretty good job. Breakfast starts at 07:30, which is kind of late for an oil town. But they have coffee in the lobby starting something like 4 am.

I'm a platinum status member. I would not stay anywhere else. Pam is the greatest. Highly recommend.

I spend about 25 weeks a year in motels traveling for work and have been doing this for about 20 years. This motel has the worst service I have ever experienced. We stayed six nights and housekeeping only came to our rooms once during our entire stay and that was at 5:45 pm. We had to to leave the room so they could clean it which I understand the policy but who wants to work all day and then get back to your room to relax and then have to leave so it can be cleaned? How difficult is it to clean rooms before noon like every other establishment in America? The vast majority of people staying here are working in the oilfield and are gone from their rooms by 7 am if not earlier. I complained to the front desk several times about the lack of housekeeping and was always told they are still here working, we will check into it, you can go find them if you want, etc. It is a shame this is a very new and nice place but the service sucks. $200 a night and can't even get new towels or the trash can emptied. I feel sorry for the owners. They had to spend a fortune building this place only to have it ran so poorly.

Hotel is nice but that is it. WORST SEVICE EVER! I've stayed at many hotels for work, and this one has by far the worst service. Since day 1 when I showed up to check in, and they claimed I couldn't check in because of an audit, and that my room would be ready by 3, regardless of the fact that I had to work that same night. So when 3 o'clock rolls around, my room STILL isn't ready. Again, blamed on their auditor. They rushed getting my room ready with like 5 housekeepers and the only thing they did was give me towels and make the bed. No trash bags, toilet paper was half gone. I've asked for house keeping service for SIX DAYS STRAIGHT and have yet to receive it. Even as I type this review right now, using the same towel for the 3rd day in a row. Do yourself a solid and check in to the Holiday Inn.

My Amazing new find! Decided to go on a small getaway for the weekend with my husband away for my Midland family and stopped in here never stayed at a Marriott so I looked it up of course and I was very apprehensive about staying having some years in the industry I can tend to be VERY picky but decided to give it a try, first thing I noticed at check in the front desk clerk Pam was amazing asked me how much I travel and so on and suggested I sign up for the Marriott Rewards program which I did can't beat Free with a stick, secondly was being greeted by the general Manager Julie which I had to ask her name because I have never seen a GM on a Friday night or smiling on a Saturday morning like she was when we went down for breakfast. Room was very clean bed was amazing! I had to say something seeing as in all businesses we tend to point out the bad stuff and not enough of the good. Thank you ladies for making my stressful weekend with family a lot more bearable y'all are awesome and we'll see you next getaway.

Terrible customer service. Very rude staff. Adds fraudulent charges to your credit card after your stay. If this has happened to you, please contact the attorney general office 512-463-2100. (charges made for "damages" after checkout)
The only "proof" of damages was to take the managements word for it. As other reviews have stated, the manager, Julie, was insulting and extremely unprofessional in dealing with this matter. The photos that were provided 2 days later are …very generic and could be in any room, at any hotel. The follow up response states they are use to dealing with "oil field" guys. Maybe she believes that "oil field" guys would have no recourse and would just have to accept the fraudulent charges. That is not the case here! Please choose somewhere else to stay. If you are booking for your employees, save your self a huge headache!

I have been in town working this week. I have been here since Monday today is Wednesday I still have not received any housekeeping service. Floors are dirty, doesn't look like they have ever seen a vacuum cleaner. The how're and tub still had hair in it when I got here. Terrible experience. I will make sure I notify my company to take this hotel off their list for and employee traveling.

The manager here, not Pam, but the ugly fat one is about as rude as can be and wouldnt recommend her being employed here anymore. Nice hotel and very friendly with the exception of her. Would recommend this stay to my friends and family as long as she is no longer here.

I don't know why people keep giving bad reviews about this place but so far the stay has been excellent. The staff are nice and the service is awesome. The food here is great and they always keep the dining area stocked with drinks and fruit. Excellent Place to stay!

New hotel, just opened a few months ago. The lobby is very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They even had an evening social with free beer! I was very impressed with the service as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

I will not be staying at this hotel ever again and will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family members. This hotel is for guest who basically don't care about anything nice or guest who just needs a place to sleep. My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend for three nights and not once did we receive housekeeping. Every time we would go to the front desk and ask will we be receiving service today, the agent would tell us yes, but we never did. The keys to our room stop working and each time we left the hotel an agent had to let us back in our room instead of giving us new keys. I witness the so call supervisor for the evening shift on Friday, yell at a guest and act as if she was about to hit the guest. The guest reaction was to throw a bowl of candy at the supervisor. I wish I would have never given this hotel a dime of my money. The staff is very rude and act as if they don't want to be on the job.

If you like semi-truck noise to help you sleep, this would be 5 stars for you. Otherwise, don't stay here. Ever. A few trucks went by that I could actually feel. You know the ones, at 2 and 3 am. Mr Marriott should fire his land acquisition staff and put in quadruple pane glass. Feels like I'm trying to sleep underneath the elevated train in Chicago. The poor cleaning staff can't possibly keep up with the field crews staying here. Stairs and elevator are complete sandboxes.
