I would give this hotel a negative star if I could. When I checked in I handed the front desk lady my military ID which she rejected and made me give her a driver's license. She said it was for the address and I informed her the address on my driver's license was incorrect she scoffed at me. Then she saw my service animal because my dog made a sound and asked what she is trained to do which is understandable and I said for my PTSD then she informed me that ny service animal is not properly trained. I told her she is and she's had a long day then she threatened to deny my reservation that was already paid for. I can not believe this hotel would employ someone as rude as this. It is unbelievable. She needs to be fired in my opinion. Think twice before choosing this hotel to stay at. It is not worth the judgment and harassment given at the front desk.

Dear Comfort Suites Team, we stayed at your hotel for the last 2 nights. Your whole team was really amazing, customer oriented and friendly. Sadly we ran into some issues, which all together seemed a little too much for a high rated hotel like yours. When we arrived we opened the pull out couch and the sheet was stained in multiple spots and had hair on it. There were no blankets or pillows for the pull out couch as was previously arranged for in our reservation. We went and got a new sheet, pillows and blankets. The Couch pillow was ripped and broken, but that was not a big deal for us either. The next problem we ran into were bugs in our room — 2big waterbugs — which my kids and I are pretty terrified of, especially so close to our beds. In addition to that we found an ant pile, someone elses body roll on between the bedside table and the bed and had no electricity for a couple of hours before we had to check out at 11. If those were isolated incidents, none of them would have been enough to complain about, but when you are looking forward to a relaxed weekend in an upper class hotel which you paid 250/260$ a night for, these standarts are unacceptable. We tried to contact the hotel via email and messenger, but it doesn't seem like anybody cares …

This is the most compassionate group of staff members and the best customer service I’ve had all year. I had to come down for a family emergency. My uncle is very very sick and so we rushed down. After a few days I decided to call where he used to work and I am AMAZED by how sweet these people are. They helped me get a room and went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations. It gave me extreme encouragement in a trying time. Then… I see this tattoo on the sweet front desk girls arm. I know I was meant to see these words. Thank you so much to the staff of this hotel and the owners. ❤️❤️

Got there at 2pm We were told check in was at 3pm that was no big deal but We booked side by side room and had to wait till 3:45 because they had to clean the room. They wanted us to take rooms on different floor and the man at the front desk was rude when we told him that wouldn't work for us when at last we got to our room we found a roach half dead out side our room. We also found roach sacks in the closet. The place had trash all over laundry room was bad and had a smell. We will not being going back.

My room was just not to welcoming and disgusted.

I booked this place as a last minute spring break getaway for my fam. The place is fine for what we needed. We ended up leaving a day earlier due everything in CC being closed) : it was super disappointing but the staff was super nice to let us out of our reservation early. Annette was a freaking gem. She was here both nights we were here and she was so sweet. I felt bad for her b/c multiple people were yelling at her for stuff out of her control but she handled all of them with a smile. I checked on her often because they were truly hateful. She was incredible. **Be kind people. Everyone is doing their best these days, And being hateful isn’t the way to handle things. We all need to show each other love and kindness, like Anette did to all that didn’t to her. She’s an angel and I won’t forget her. 🖐🏼⭐️s.

Bed Bugs! When I first got here the placed looked and smelled wonderful… But here I am now awake for an hour and unable to sleep after getting bitten by bed bugs… This sucks… As I sat on the toilet a roach crawled up to me as well… WTF! I paid alot for this room.

Great Comfortable Suite! The nice balcony was a must during our stay!

There’s no parking for guests. Construction vehicles are parked in their parking lot, leaving guests to ask a neighboring hotel for permission to park there. I was told to park on the curb and got a business card for the general manager to direct complaints at. Don’t stay here. Just go to La Quinta instead. The room also smells like Raid bug spray.

Staff is great very friendly. Great location right in the middle of town minutes away from the ocean.

Nicest staff. Clean room, clean sheets, clean place. Breakfast was good.

I don’t blame them for the noise. What I do blame them for is putting me in a unsecurable room. Not showing empathy for me purchasing an out of date product from the vending machine on their property.

My reservations were messed up and I didn’t get the price they quoted me… desk clerk said I didn’t have to stay there but all the hotels were booked so where was I to go… I had no choice…

Staff is great at front desk, however I just arrived today and when I layed down in my king size bed there was dry blood on my sheets. Because the blanket was covering it I layed over that portion of the sheet without noticing until I rolled over. Beyond disgusted and disappointed.

My car window was broken into at this location and the manager didn't offer any kind of nicety aside from parking my car under the cover of the entrance so that it didn't get rained on. There also is only one elevator so it takes a while to get around the place. Other than that this was a fairly good hotel for the price and the staff was decent. The room was very comfortable with decent decor. It had a nice shower and built in hair dryer. The king bed was very comfortable and I slept well in it despite the unfortunate wake up call about the break in. The breakfast was decent with a fair variety of pastries, bagels, cereal, waffle maker, fruit, hot sausage and eggs (low quality scrambled eggs that were too salty). There was a nice variety of juices from a machine and coffee.

Nice place, upscale, friendly staff, fairly new. Our room was clean and fresh. Double queen rooms are fairly large. Bath area well done, other than the sink in the same room as the shower. One of the better breakfasts we have had on the road. Several large parking spaces for trailers and trucks. Fairly quiet. Enjoyable stay.

Wish there was a no star button! Worst hotel experience ever, after driving over 3 hours with a 10 month old in Friday traffic! We had a total of 3 rooms and none of us where pleased! We were double charged on one of the rooms. I got told my room would be half off my last night stay when I told them about our stay at check out and it wasn’t! The manager has no idea about it! My poor 84 year old great great grandmother couldn’t even stop coughing in the room! Rooms where musky, a/c didn’t work the second day in either room, everything was dusty, housekeeping never cleaned our restroom when we asked, crib was dirty and molded, there was trash and food n crumbs under the sofa pull out bed, internet was horrible since it’s not secured. The janitors, housekeepers have no respect and squeeze into the elevator with you or go in front of you instead of offering for you to go first.

Curtis was the best, very polite and professional and help us feel welcome when we came in, answered all questions and explain everything! Definitely made the experience 10x better. If you are looking for a clean and nice place to stay definitely make comfort suites your stop! Ask for Curtis he definitely can help you with what ever you need.

First time staying at this hotel. Overall, the experience wasn’t awful. When we first arrived the room was very musky and sheets a little damp, this is South Texas so I can’t be too surprised. After a few hours of the AC running and sheets folded up for air, the smell and dampness subsided. The room seems clean and the bed is comfortable. The only issue I have found is the thinness of the walls and the lack of action the staff takes to handle noise complaints. The people next to me had their television so loud you could hear it in our room and down the hallways. It was on all night and made it really difficult to sleep. A phone call was made to the front desk requesting they ask the guest to turn the television down a bit, but 3 hours later we could still hear that television. We had been patient by letting it slide the night before and decided to not make it too much of a thing our final night. It would’ve been nice if the staff took it seriously considering we waited to call in the complaint at 10pm. We thought that was more than a reasonable request for the the time it was. We would stay at this hotel again in the future.

I had the pleasure to stay at this hotel and just wanted to let you know that we all had a great time everyone was very courteous and polite. And they made sure that we were very comfortable. Especially the supervisor Mrs Torres from housekeeping came up to us and asked us if everything was all right in the rooms, anything we needed just ask them! she made us feel so welcome. And we are going to come back to stay at this hotel because we were so very happy, like it was home. Front desk dayshift and night shift always greeted us with a big smile. If we needed pool towels to ask them, one of the guys would always walk around the parking lot make sure everything was great, very clean pool people like this make you feel comfortable and that’s why we would always come back to this hotel.

Location is good. Central location. 10 — 15 minutes from all attractions. King size suites a little cramped due to position of bed. No real complaints. Staff friendly.

We have stayed here in the past and never had an issue. This stay, however, was much different. If I could give zero stars, I would. Walking into the lobby, there was an overwhelming scent of mustiness or mold. I hoped that once we got to our room on the 3rd floor, the smell would be better but I think it actually got worse. When we returned to our room for the night after 11 pm, there was ZERO parking available, although a number of large company work trucks in the lot had decided to use 2-4 spots to fit. The front desk staff casually dismissed the issue and told us to just park up in front wherever there was space. Once we finally made it to our room, we opened the sofa bed for our two boys to sleep and found there was no bedding at all! We looked through the closets and still nothing. Went to the front desk to ask for sheets, blanket and pillows and we were questioned about which room we were in and why we needed the bedding like they didn’t believe us! They finally handed over the bare minimum and we quickly made a bed for our boys so they could get some sleep. Mind you, it was now already close to midnight. As I went to climb into bed, I stepped on the soggy carpet between the AC and bed that another guest had described. The worst part of the entire stay was the fact that one of my children woke up feeling unwell. Between the drive from corpus to San Antonio once we left the hotel early, his breathing deteriorated so badly that we ended up at the ER by the evening.

Great place, rooms clean best place for working folks here. Decent breakfast included. Nice staff.

It was late and we were all exhausted. I was happy that the hotel smelled very clean and fresh, which is always a plus with me. Sadly though, the moment we stepped into our room, it smelled sour. Not overwhelmingly sour but just enough that people with sensitive noses would be uncomfortable. I never want to be that nit-picky guest that finds something wrong with everything. That's not my nature and I really hate confrontations. So I kept my mouth shut and we decided to unpack after our long day of being on the road. But problem number two happened soon after… the main lamps in our room didn't work. Imagine a dark hotel room! We checked plugs, checked for loose bulbs, looked for light switches on the wall, nothing. Being it was so late, we just got into bed and decided we'd speak to someone first thing in the morning. As I rounded the bed closest to the window, I stepped in water! Wet carpet absolutely grosses me out. I wanted to cry. My family had already crawled into bed at this point, all our stuff was unpacked, and our room was dark. I was so uncomfortable but my hands were tied. Again, we'll just deal with this in the morning… My daughter and I woke up super early and drove to the beach to see the sunrise on Easter morning. Once the sun was up, we drove back to the room to wake up my husband and son. Immediately more problems. My husband wanted to take a shower but there were NO TOWELS in our room. How on Earth was that overlooked?

Returning customers from last summer. I'm very picky on cleanliness and they did a great job. Last time we stayed the front desk was extremely helpful when I booked my mom's room at their other location. It's not on the beach like we normally prefer, but the cleanliness and customer service is a reason we will be coming back. It's not that far of a drive from North Padre and if you like too fish it's reasonable. Looking forward to returning and feeling hopeful this might be our new vacation spot in Corpus. I will give another update after the 2nd stay. Looking forward to it and hopefully its warm enough for kids to swim and husband's coworkers that I recommended will be as happy as I was with this stay.

I just checked into the hotel and found out I was lied to by the reservation dept. The agent said that there was a queen size bed and sofa sleeper. The room they gave me only has a queen bed. When I called the reservation dept. All they said was for me to call a 1800 number to complain which is now closed! The hotel said they could refund the money however it would take 4 to 5 business days. Horrible customer service. Do not stay here.

For the most part this hotel is average Comfort Suites quality. However, if you expect to get in some cardio or hit the weights during your stay, you will be disappointed. The fitness center is unusable. First off, the temperature feels to be close to 85 degrees in there. More like a sauna than a fitness room. In addition to the high temperature, the weight machine is broken. The cable has jumped a pulley because the pulley is broken. The bench for sit ups is also broken. The seat is loose and potentially dangerous. The dumbbells are mismatched and only go up to 30 pounds. It's funny though. In my room there is a card that says, "If you're not satisfied with our accommodations, please let the front desk know so we can make it right. " I stayed at this location a couple of months ago and reported these problems to the front desk. I stayed at this location again two weeks ago and reported these problems to the front desk. Now on my third stay, the fitness center is still unusable. Management obviously does not care, despite the nice words on the card in my room. So in summary, this hotel is adequate for most purposes. But, if you expect to work out during your stay, you will need to stay someplace else.

Great place to stay for the price. Check in isn't until 4pm but Vanessa was able to accommodate our arrival around 10am and offered breakfast to us as we waited for them to get the room ready. Staff was very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Corpus Christi.

Wife and I stayed here after epic Cody Jinks concert! Awesome, clean place. The staff is also really cool. Would Definitely stay again.

Great staff! The people who work here are polite and helpful, especially the manager Debra (she's hot). The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. I wouldn't risk staying somewhere else.

On the surface this hotel looks great. Probably renovated recently however we had done issues with noise on our stay. I'm not sure if The hotel was completely booked but we had to park in the back far from the entrance. The walls are thin enough for us to hear the TV in the next room. Once the neighbor turned down the volume or turned off the TV we were awoken by a loud noise in the bathroom. My wife thought someone was in our room using the bathroom. We could not figure out what was making the loud noise as it was erratic and intermittent. My guess is it was old pipes that were not replaced in the renovation. Regardless we had to turn the fan on in the bathroom and close the door to fall back asleep. The bed was firm but not the most comfortable. The breakfast was less than expected and made me sick. Next time wet will most likely steady next door or at a different hotel.

We had booked a room 2 weeks out and due to Hurricane Harvey we could not make the trip. This location refused to refund us, even after Supervisor with Hotels dot com calling them directly. So since your keeping my money, we asked that the room be donated to a family in need on that night due to lose of their home. Pretty sorry of your location. I have contacted corporate and many other outlets. I am betting you keep the money and double charge and do not help anyone other than your own selfless individuals.

Comfort Suites Central is a very nice hotel on the outskirts of Corpus Christi. I stayed overnight before an early morning flight and my room was quiet, comfortable, and affordable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offerings are standard but are delicious nonetheless. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for temporary lodging in Corpus Christi.

I always book a comfort suite property when I travel due to the safer environment than a small motel, and the free full breakfast and hot tub. Well, this time we were a little disappointed because the hot tub wasn't hot at all, the front desk said they called a maintenance man, and even hours later still wasn't fixed. The pool and hot tub were dirty with trash floating in them. Also, I wasn't told we needed to put down a ridiculous $150 deposit upon check in! They say it's for incidentals, bu it's not like there is room service and a bunch of things to purchase there, then the GM said it was because ppl actually steal their tv's. Well I'm not sure why anyone would want to steal their 10yr old looking tvs in the first place. They're decent tvs, but nothing special and why punish honest guests due to theives they allow to stay there? Anyhow, I thought that was absurd, but the GM was kind enough to waive that for us, but then said she has son's who live where I'm from and she'll hunt us down if we stole! I realize she was joking, but that's not professional and like I said, nobody wants their old tvs unless they're ghetto and desperate for some cash for a bad habit. I do some secret shopping every now and then so, lucky for them I wasn't ion assignment, because their score would not have been too great. In general, the stay was decent, except for these issues.

This was a last minute road trip. We used our points to book this hotel so it was a good deal. It is a bit of a drive to the beaches but right off the highway so it wasn't bad. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They told us we got a free treat for using our points. Even the maintenance guy was helpful, suggesting which beaches to go to. The room was very nice. Clean and cool! We could tell the carpet was brand new and you just like to see that sort of thing because it tells you the place is well cared for. We didn't get to use to the pool but we appreciated the convenience of an exercise room. Breakfast was very nice, a good selection and attendants were eager to help. The only negative was the juice was extremely watered down. Bed was super comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

This hotel is far from the city center but it is still a nice hotel. The free breakfast was good. The front desk check us in fast. We would stay again at this hotel. It has easy access to the highway. Free Wi-Fi.

The location is away from downtown and away from any restaurants and shopping centers (about 15-20 minutes). The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The cleaning service is great but the complimentary breakfast is not so great. The employees are very friendly here and seem willing to do whatever it takes to make the guests happy.

I paid too much money for a low quality hotel. Where do I begin? Me and my husband stay here for a weekend as our mini getaway. When I got to the hotel I was told that I had a regular king suite instead of a king suite w a balcony (is what I picked in my reservation) that was a bad start for me. I felt like it was false advertisement. The lady at the front desk wasn't even trying to hear me out she kept talking over me and didn't let me talk. I was aggravated at this point so I decided to suck it up and try to make the best of it. I went up to the floor where my room was and immediately I got a strong whiff of I want to say mold? It smelled damp. I went into my room and the floor felt damp there was no air circulation in the room it just felt gross. The carpet was disgusting it had missing pieces as if it was ripped out. Our mattress had some stains on it as if they don't take the time to clean the mattresses. I got tired of complaining and decided to leave for the day with my husband. We got back to the hotel around 10pm or 11pm. I noticed there was a lot of teenagers running around just having fun. WELLLLL lucky me I was on the SAME floor as them but what actually bothered me the most was the fact that they were DRUNK. There was a girl sitting on the floor in the hall way in front of her room. I couldn't believe that they would place me on the same floor as these kids! I will never recommend this hotel or come back.

Booked 1 night, clean room, 107 w/tax for 1 room for 5 people. Breakfast waffle machine makes Texas shaped waffles. Pool was nice: has hot tub, 5 ft pool, and a hose to wash off sand!

This hotel is very dirty. Looks clean but its not! The housekeeping ladies are loud. Mornings all u hear is talkin music and slaming doors. This place has went so far down. Stayed here a year ago. Everyone is new but dont know what or how to run a place. Management is poor. Never stay here again! Make sure yall inspect your room.

I'm currently staying at this hotel and have stayed here before and we are very pleased with the staff because they are there to assist you in anything you need, our room was clean and at a very comfortable temperature. The price for our room was very good. I will be staying here in our future visits to Corpus Christi! Thank you Comfort Suites Central staff! As soon as we walked in the hotel we were recognized by one of your staff members and he welcomed us back. Thank you!

On a trip to Corpus Christi we booked this hotel for the weekend and the stay was amazing. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, etc.

I loved this hotel. The room was SUPER clean, spacious and comfortable. Since I travel a lot those 3 areas are very important to me. The staff was very friendly and acknowledgeable. Great location. Will be staying there again when I visit Corpus Christi TX.

Nasty hotel! Staff does not care about guests. What so ever. All the food is microwavable. All the rooms have mold in restrooms on the floors walls ceilings you name it mold is on it. Ewww… Make sure sheets are fresh and pull out beds are new. There worn like the hotel and has stains all over, you can feel. The springs. Also the rooms 309 and 411 were covered in bed bugs! Housekeepers do not clean right and are also on drugs. I always see them taking stuff in bags. Makes me wonder what there taking? Must be stealing from property or the hotel guests. Very poor! This hotel is ghetto. Managers are worthless and careless just like all employees that work there! This property has went way down like there business. Sad but true. Next time you think about stay in corpus Christi texas better think again. If you want low quality might as well stay at motel 6 its way better. If you want better stay with a Marriott! They care about there guests. Rooms get clean with bleach!

Nice hotel. Everything in the room was clean and the breakfast was decent. My only complaint was that the A/C unit was somewhat loud even in the lowest fan setting. But other than that, I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone who visits to the Corpus Christi area.

Horrible experience and service. I booked my room through Choice Hotels as that was the only option I could find for booking online. Somehow, 4 rooms were booked instead of one, and I mistakenly booked the wrong date. I notified the hotel as soon as I received my confirmation. I was told to contact Choice Hotels. When I spoke with choice hotels, I was told that they would contact the hotel for a refund. The Choice Hotel representative came back and told me that Comfort Suites was refusing to issue a refund and continually forward her to the manager Evette’s voicemail. When I called Comfort Suites for the second time, Linda put me on hold for 10 minutes and then proceeded to give me the same issue. Extremely unprofessional business.

I would rate it 5 stars but the bathrooms in the bedrooms are too small. Other than that, great hotel. Nice fresh rooms, great staff, amazing free breakfast. In the morning, the cafeteria is a nice relaxing place to wake up.
