This was the worst experience for my uncle! He is from Denver, CO. He flew in for a job training. Showed up advised him there was no paid room for him. Long story short, even called the cops on him for my grandmother trying to pay for a room. This so he wasn’t left in the street! Come to find out this morning when I work called, they did have a room and it was paid for! I will never stay at a Double Tree.

I stayed for 20 days here. Good location. Nice ambience. Nice staff. However do not suggest for long stay. Same breakfast mein everyday. Fruits are not fresh. Rooms interior is bit dull.

I have stayed in this hotel at least 6 times and everytime it has been a great experience. The check in process in easy and the hotels are always very nice. Nothing ever seems to be damaged or worn and the beds are very comfy. This is my favorite hotel to stay in when I go to Dallas!

It's main road accessible, big rooms n staff is really great. They greet you with an everlasting smile n are very courteous. They have a high standard of cleanliness n food is good too. They have a huge parking lot, only that it's open n not covered. In the torturous heat of Texas summer, it gets a lil tough to get to your car.

Front desk did not have confirmation of my reservation when I arrived. Took 30min to get a new room booked. Was given a single bed after requesting a double. Had to go downstairs to get another room assigned. When taking a load of bags to my car on the final day, housekeeping discarded my bouquet of flowers while I was not in the room. Was able to retrieve them after waiting for 10minutes. Staff was nice. Maybe my stay was just a handful of poor isolated experiences.

This hotel is so comfortable! The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The beds are soft and clean. The bathroom is a little small but very functional. The lighted mirror is perfect for putting on makeup. There is even a small, pull out enhanced mirror to help with the small things! Plus, free warm cookies! The staff have been wonderful. Everyone that I have spoken to has been so helpful and courteous.

Love the chocolate chip cookies they give you when you check in. Some pictures on Google were from before their remodel. The room I was in was updated nicely and very clean. Location was superb as well.

I have been to many Hilton hotel of all kinds and by far the one is the most disappointing. I purchased a king with executive access as advertised on the Hilton app filter. A few hours before arrival I went on the app to check in as I always do. When I attempted to generate a digital key I was unsuccessful. The app said to collect key at the front. At the from desk I was pleasantly told that there was no longer an executive lounge. Then we were offered 4 drink cards not completely filled. I am okay with hotels without executive lounge if I choose that option. Last was the breakfast that was supposed to be available in the lounge. Instead we paid a warping $18 per person for breakfast you get free at the Hampton Inn. Overall just dissatisfied.

My most recent stay was disappointing the hallway was cooler than my room. I stayed 3 nights and the last day I requested the AC be checked. At midnight I was unable to sleep comfortably and the night auditor was not too helpful. All my other stays have been great but this one was bad. I was told there were no other rooms on my floor or any fridges however I was in a room with a fridge and the heat made me considered requesting another room. Not cool.

I had a wonderful stay here. I came here for a conference. My classmates brought their lovely son to visit me. I told the assistant staff this situation and wished to get some better arrangement for us. More than what I expected, not only the room was larger but they prepared us surprising gifts, especially the signs of UCLA. Generally speaking, the staffs were gentle and polite. The room was clean. The front desk staff helped me process the early check in and then I could take a shower before I attending a conference. The breakfast was fine. I highly recommend this stay.

We were visiting family in the Dallas area and stayed three nights. From the time we booked our reservations with Bianca, our experience was grand! We found the front desk staff, Danielle and Mathew very helpful and friendly, offering water and warm chocolate cookies when we checked in. The newly renovated room was sparkling clean and the housekeeper Isabel was available with clean towels and service once we took off the “do not disturb” sign. This will be our home away from home every time we visit Dallas.

I love the remodel and the hotel staff is always so helpful and pleasant. I've stayed here numerous times and I'm always so pleased with them. Unfortunately, there is one significant upgrade they have ignored — their elevators. It's a nightmare at checkout time and unreasonably slow the rest of the time. Also, be aware they have ridiculously soft pillows and super firm beds. If I'm driving in from Austin I always bring my own pillows for better support.

I stay during a religious event and I had a reservation for 5 people and they gave me a room with 2 queen beds. When I asked the front desk why a room with only 2 queen beds, she told me that my kids (19, 18 and 8) will fit in a queen size bed. The same afternoon we where eating in the hotel, I grab a piece of cake from the desert table and it had mold, I show it to the server, she took it away. No one from the management or any employee apologize for the incident, they just look at me like it was my fault. The next day my daughter bought a sandwich from the front desk, she told me that tasted funny, the sandwich had a expiration date of 3 days past when I bought it, again no apology from no one. Very horrible experience.

This is my first stay at this particular DoubleTree. It has been recently renovated and everything looks brand new. The rooms are very good sized and the beds are comfortable. The location is great to access the business corridor of both 635, 35 as well as the tollway. You are also just 20 minutes from downtown Dallas.

The staff is friendly and their chocolate chip cookies are delicious. The rooms were humid and takes a while to cool. The beds were comfortable and we were able to get restful sleep. Breakfast ranges from $11-15 and is lackluster. Opt for late checkout, free, which moves the time from 12pm to 1pm The parking spaces are a bit small and there were 3 bumper incidents when I was there for two nights so be careful.

We've stayed at the DoubleTree on our trips to Dallas the last six out of seven years. It has recently been redecorated and is lovely. The rooms are spacious, quiet and spotless. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoy that a Salt Grass restaurant is walking distance from the parking lot for late night dining. Highly recommend this hotel.

As expected the Doubletree was magnificent and lives up to its reputation to this day. The location was perfect with it being off the highway but still close enough to access it quickly without any real danger of traffic backing up to block anyone. The renovations that had taken place inside really brought new life to the hotel. The food was amazing and the staff is extremely helpful and kind and very knowledgeable about the area and what to look forward to or what to avoid. They also have great memories and remember their regulars and even treat them like family. If you haven't stayed here before I definitely suggest you giving it a shot and I trust you will not regret it at all.

It was being remodeled the last 4 times we visited. We usually love staying here; however, the last time we stayed, I found blood on the comforter. I called the front desk to ask for a new one and was told housekeeping was gone. A security guard brought me a less-than-fresh smelling blanket. I was really disappointed.

This hotel is one of my favorite to stay at when in Addison. It's a great hotel really nice on the inside and newly renovated. Thry have one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. They have some great salsa and the waiters are really nice. Make sure you eat in the breakfast area the Concierge lounge breakfast is trash compared to the full breakfast. I think they should just offer the main breakfast for status members.

I really like the location and amenities this hotel has to offer. I stayed in a premium suite and the size was perfect. My first room, however, had no ac. Nor did it have any working plugs in view (the only ones that worked were behind furniture and already had things plugged in). We were quickly changed to a new room with ac! Only problem was… There were still no working plugs! Our room ended up being littered with extension cords. We made it work, and when we got it all set up it was fine, but. Very unnecessary.

I would like to give Cristina 10 stars! The customer service that I was given in setting up reservations was beyond amazing! Cristina went above and beyond to help me make reservations for a staff member who is coming to Dallas. She helped to get the room charges taken care of, secure everything with credit cards and all via phone or email! She even realized that there should be a group discount available! She is amazing! Company sales meeting for 3 days excellent service the food was amazing. Rooms are very clean very tidy all of our staff was very impressed with the venue and the meeting room. We had very limited time to pull this meeting together and the Doubletree bent over backwards to help us make it happen Hi-5 to DoubleTree.

Excellent place but very cold!

Parking spaces are small (Ford Escort small). Most who park there are medium to large cars. Making it impossible to park between other cars. Apparently there are more rooms than parking so they made the spaces smaller. Larger space away from the hotel.
Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. Clean, quiet, awesome service. The place was full, but other than the parking lot didnt feel like it.

Attended for a conference. Plenty of space. Didnt get a chance to really explore. Bring a coat. Conference rooms can get chilly.

The hotel was being remodeled during our stay. The main area on the ground floor was roped off. Construction crews worked their loud machinery from early morning till late at night. Luckily for us, our room was on the 7th floor and we couldn't hear a thing. Our stay also included a catered breakfast, lunch and dinner; presentation was good, but taste not so great.

Cocktails served in hot glasses out of the dishwasher. Melted ice diluted drinks. Piss pour. Supposed to be a nice place.

The rooms are spacious, but the building is currently under construction. I was not given the usual complimentary water and cookie, and my A/C was not working properly. The room temperature states at about 70° although I set the target temperature to 63°. Normally, I would give this hotel a 3 or 4 star rating, but this stay hasn't been the most pleasant.

Construction is slight annoying. The rooms are sweet! Remodeled and luxurious enough to make me feel cozy. Starbucks accurately makes drinks too. Didn't eat breakfast or order room service. Doors into room are narrow and no exhaust fan in bathroom. Toilet also flushes poorly, but to be expected with an older establishment.

Beautiful hotel rooms. The lobby is currently under construction but I'm sure it will be incredible when completed. Staff is very friendly.

The building was nice. It was being renovated and that was barely noticeable. My key worked 2/3 of the time. Requested extra pillows. Took 4 hours and 2 calls to get them even though they were suppose to be there when I arrived. Then housekeeping took them the next day and I had to go through it again. I was there for a convention or I would have left. The bartender was wonderful. He's the only reason the place even deserves the 1 star. The front desk and management however are the worst I've ever experienced, the are not trained well in customer service. Any issue is escalated well above its necessary level. I've stayed at Doubletrees for over 15 years. I will never stay at this location again.

They are under renovation, was on a floor being renovated. Was told to expect banging early. The room I had was poor at best. Half the lamps didn't work because they were too far away from the outlets. Couldn't plug the computer in at the desk because no plug! Carpet was sticky in places. I paid DoubleTree prices for this? I'm a Hilton member who won't be back. Moved to the Embassy for the remainder of my stay. Much better.

Well a couple of things. First it started out good friendly staff then on the way to the rooms that's when it was a different story. Ok so first room key didn't work so we went down stairs three times before we got that problem resolved. The next room we get was never cleaned totally destroyed but yes the did switch rooms. Ok so third room which I save for last because it was the worst one. We get to room and open door to find another lady already cozy in my bed, no joke someone was already in room. How is it you can have so many problems in one night? Ps update decor and fix A/C it never gets cold. Other than that the place looks good.

Double Tree is a very nice place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the hotel is close to everything, and the staff are very polite. My stay was short (2 nights), but I feel I made the right choice. It's relaxing and quiet… I never heard a single neighbor while I stayed. They also had nice, big T. V. S and a bar in the lobby for those times when you need a drink after a long, hard day of work. They also offer breakfast in the morning (although I never took part. )

As far as amenities go there is no mini fridge and no snacks available in the room. They attempted to do a similar program as what is done at courtyard locations but the store was gated shut and closed by 10pm when I went to grab something. I would be ashamed to put the Hilton name on this building.

This hotel is nasty! there was cockroaches on the ceiling in the lobby, air conditioning didn't work in the room at all, we called front desk for an electrician and the front desk brought us a fan!? this hotel is awful! we waited 45 mins after the check in time for our room claiming it was not ready yet? we will never stay here again! very disappointed in hilton!

Check in was very quick, the room surprisingly did not have a refrigerator, but everything in the room worked great. Breakfast at the hotel the next morning was also pretty good.

I had a good stay while here on business. The room was a little worn looking but was comfortable and quiet on the 8th floor. I had a view if the atrium which that high you don't get much of a view but I wasn't in the room looking out much anyway. I thought the breakfast buffet was good, the salsa delicious. I don't know what the breakfast buffet cost as we get vouchers but seemed it would be worth the value to me compared to many hotels. I would stay again based on this experience.

Stayed in a room on the 9th floor for 2 nights. Found the accommodations very clean and mostly quiet. The staff was polite and efficient. The breakfast buffet was good but I wouldn't pay the listed $12-15 unless I got a deal with the room. Definitely would stay again.

Great location with Walmart and Sams club across the street. In-N-Out Burger subway and Taco bell within walking distance. Super quiet although the rooms are starting to show their age, the bed is super comfortable and the a/c is silent.

Great Hotel, friendly staff, clean. The one downside is the in room internet. It is horrid. Internet is very important to both the casual and business traveler. Its the difference between a 5 star rating and a 3 star rating for me.

When arriving one instantly will love the rotating door. The place is clean in general but upon looking at their indoor fountain one will notice a large amount of lime buildup that whitens otherwise Navy blue tiles. The auditorium features large ceilings, but the ceiling tiles are partially blackened by the sheet buildup. The receptionist is very kind and knowledgeable. The Wi-Fi offered here is either ATT or Time Warner Cable. I tested the TWC Wi-Fi and it had 15.5 mbps down and 5 mbps upstream. The ballroom is generally clean with the seat pads being well worn. The event I was at the hotel provided lunch in the seats that we were sitting in. They did so quickly and efficiently. The sandwich provided was lackluster in quality, especially when compared to a traditional sandwich at a grocery store or otherwise sandwich shop. The bathrooms were large. The toilet paper used was single-ply.

Staff was busy, but friendly. Front doors didn't work and no fridge/microwave in rooms. Good hotel but overpriced.

Most disappointing hotel ever. Tried to check in at 8:40 pm 'Tuesday' weekday night but was told no room's available and had to wait till it's cleaned up. However, I saw that another gentleman was given a room immediately right after me. I suspect that this hotel discriminates customers coming through Priceline. Very very unpleasant experience and I felt sorry to my family.

Wish the place was more updated for the prices they charge. Did not have a mini fridge in room, no hot breakfast or continental breakfast. They want you to pay for everything, much better to go to a holiday inn express, you get all I mentioned for the same room price.

Cookies were good, rooms clean. Tub faucet leaked when turned on and there was only access to one wall plug in the whole room next to TV. Put at least one outlet on each night stand, please. No one wants to use your crappy alarm clock, we use our phones now.

They made it right. We arrived late to a fully booked hotel and decided to order from the late night menu… only to find out they were out of sandwiches and wraps. The staff was friendly and apologetic for the planning mistake and helped us find some local options that would deliver.

This is an old hotel that is falling apart. The Wi-Fi is rough and didn't work for a full day the last time I stayed. As others have said the customer service is horrible. The employees have a poor attitude, which makes it a very negative and uncomfortable atmosphere.

Friendly staff, executive lounge breakfast was lacking, as was good parking. However the rooms were great and beds were clean and comfortable.

Rooms are getting tired and the Wi-Fi service needs some work.

Pros:comfortable beds, nice location, free cookies, clean room Cons:expensive room service menu that I just wouldn't order because it's very limited. My advice go across the street to Saltgrass steakhouse you may spend about the same amount here but at least you get a nice selection of food. They have no microwaves in the rooms so if your food gets cold… your out of luck.

Caution BED BUGS! While laying in the bed I felt something crawling on my head, after noticing a little red bug on the pillow. I was appalled to realize it was a BED BUG! The guy at the front desk was no help and claim that there were no bed bugs in the room even though I had killed the BED BUG bright as day on the pillow! DO NOT STAY HERE! DISGUSTING. Don't even waste your money!

Great stay… late (9pm) check in, in town for family fuunctions… staff VERY accommodating, especially Front Desk Clerk 'Donovan'… very professional… room was spacious, comfortable, and VERY QUIET. My wife & I were extremely pleased with our stay & will visit again.

Dirty (cockroach and hair on the room floor), outdated, smelled like mildew throughout the hotel, treated like a 2nd class citizen since we booked through a 3rd party online service. At check-in we offered to pay the difference for a room upgrade and were told that we could not stay in an upgraded room because we had booked online and pre-paid (wow, the hotel did not want to accept anymore $). As a result of booking through an online service that works to find the best discount for travelers, you are placed in the least desirable room in the hotel near the ice machine and elevators (very noisy). When we called the front desk to tell them about the cockroach problem in the room, the front desk offered to send someone up to "find it and squish it". Stay somewhere else.

This hotel features a friendly, accommodating staff, but resides in an old building that badly needs to be updated. We checked in late in the evening and received a room with an air conditioner that was rattling and moaning so loudly there was no chance we would sleep. The front desk promptly transferred to a new "non-smoking" room that still smelled like smoke. In the morning the desk clerk admitted that that the third floor (where our room was located) used to be a smoking floor, "but that was a few years ago. " We were transferred again to the fifth floor to a room that did not smell like smoke, but had a (quiet) AC that had to be controlled by turning it on and off — the thermostat settings didn't do anything. Furthermore, our original reservation had requested a single king room, but we were told when we checked in one was not available. This was untrue, however, as both of the rooms we were transferred to were single kings. There were lots of shabby and unsavory things about the hotel, as well: popcorn ceilings, toilet paper fixtures that were falling off the wall, sinks that wouldn't drain properly, mosquitoes in the lobby, etc. But the bed was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast wasn't bad. Still, I'm sure we won't stay here again.

At 1st they helped me out in changing the bed to a double bed, I told the lady I'll be arriving earlier that I expected 3am or 4am she said it was fine if room is available you can check in early I was great I arrived at 2am called the hotel no answer, called again voice-mail. So I arrived and the lady said no check in till 3pm grrrr Their check in is 3pm. Whattttt! I said okay ive been driving 13hrs, She said go to another cheap hotel close and come back no earlier than 3pm. Day staff are wayyyy nicer deal with day staff only.

Disgusting. Do not stay here. This place is dirty, stinky, the television has been out for two days. Definitely a throwback to the '70s, not in a good way, since it looks like the carpet and furniture hasn't been cleaned since then. The staff are very polite and apologetic — — poor folks, it's not their fault. This place needs to be shut down.

After dealing with the hotel/insurance company for a month they offered very little for damages to replace my luggage/clothing that I had discarded after staying in the hotel. For the hospitality industry I found the experience very disappointing and frustrating. Would never stay at this hotel and mostly likely any other doubletree hotel in the future. No communication from their corporate or Hilton to resolve issue.

I have a confirmed reservation with this hotel but when I tried to check in I was told their hotel is over booked hence no room is available. They offered to put me in another hotel. I told them I was prepared to wait till a room is available, I was flatly told no room is available and everything is "accounted" for. The curious thing was when I was talking to the front desk on what's going on — I saw atleast 4 people checking-out and 8 people checking-in. When I asked them how other folks are able to check-in and why I was being put up in a different hotel, I didn't get a convincing reply other than saying sorry. Though they offered me additional Hilton Honors points and free dinner (which I refused to take), I didn't get the real reason why I am being bumped out! So the lesson here is — even if you get a confirmation # from this hotel, be prepared to get bumped out. As far as I am concerned, I will NEVER ever to book at this hotel again.

"Heated pool" not very heated and tiny. Room also mediocre. And if your on a limited budget they throw in a surprise $100 deposit you get back days after you check out. Hopefully nice lobby and bar so they have that going for them.

The food for breakfast was gross (Pancakes were hard). The service was Ok, but one night when I was sleeping there was this drunk guy singing and me and my family couldn't get any sleep. I am not kidding. We spent most of our time elsewhere away from the Hotel, but those two things were throw backs. Nice room and a clean hotel, so I give it 3 stars. Also close to movie theaters.

Having stayed at many Hilton family hotels, I can honestly say this was pretty bad. As I took the short elevator ride up to my floor one night, I was admiring the neat views of the dining area below. Much to my surprise (or not really when reflecting on things other hotel guests had mentioned), I observed a smaller mammal (let’s call it what it most likely was; a Rat) crawling around on the floor of the omelet station. It was the best advertisement for Starbucks since it definitely made me skip any kind of prepared food at this place and head their direction. In short – this place has a rodent infestation.
