Need to open the pool. Chairs in the rooms are disgusting. Cant get in the lobby. Was with a large group staying for a week but we were not allowed to sit outside or inside together. Very run down motel. We packed up and moved to best western where we where treated extremely well.

Very unhappy … dirty… not up dated.

I absolutely hate this place! It is nice that the Va provides us with a hotel to stay in when we come out for appointments, but it would be nice if we were gave a nice place to rest, instead of a problem. Last time we were here, there was what looked like semen all over the toilet and sink. This time, there were no blankets on our beds. Just 2 sheets! The lady at the front desk was nice enough to try and help us, and gave us 2 wool blankets that looked like something your grandmother would dig out of the back of her linen closet. Sleeping in our car in the VA’s parking lot would have been better than giving this place another try.

The motel is dirty, rooms have an unpleasant odor and on top of it all they have massive wolf spiders that will just come out of nowhere when you're getting ready to take a shower. I will say the staff wasn't bad but seemed like they weren't to concerned there was a spider the size of my hand in my room and a cockroach in my friends room. If you don't like spiders and you prefer to have a clean and safe sleeping environment I wouldn't recommend you stay here.

The service was very professional. I was dropping my mother in law off to wait for my father in law to get to town. They wouldn't let her check in due to her name not being on the check in list. Normally people would be upset by this, but I understand the rules and thank them for this. It's good that just anyone can't check in your room!

I would love to give this establishment a 5 star review. However, I can't. Between the loud kids ruining my adult swim, and the tick I got the first day I was here, I can't recommend this. On the bright side, my immune system is stronger than ever thanks to Lyme's disease, and the shower head had many settings for me to choose while I sat there in featle position filled with anxiety that I was going to die. Thanks Baymont, I now have a new existential crisis to deal with.

Not up to typical Baymont standards. Appears to be an old converted motel. First room smelled like smoke. Second was worse. Third room was in the newer building and was better. However we killed 30 or so ants in the room and 7 millipedes in the bathroom. Place is tired and needs updating. A positive was that the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Rooms are a little out of date but it was a nice quiet place to stay they have carpet in rooms which I have not seen in a few years. Beds were comfy room was clean staff was great we are pleased with our stay.

There were ants everywhere in our room and our door didn’t latch. If we didn’t have a bar in front of it someone would have made it into our room in the middle of the night. If I could rate it zero stars I would. Update. Did talk to manager. He gave me excuses as to why he couldn’t give us a refund and said nothing was wrong with our door. I hope no family stays in room 419 because they could get robed or killed. Would NEVER go back. And would choose to sleep in my car before paying for another room.

From the initial reservation thru check in, I was impressed. We were in the area for the funeral of a relative and the Manager was extremely helpful as was his staff. The room was clean. I would definately stay there again.

Very clean and people are cordial. Excellent place to stay.

Ants, a lot of black mold in shower, broken sink, foul smell, cheap pillows, no cups, not enough electrical outlets. Front desk was very nice and helpful.

Got a room to meet up with some friends. When I first checked in the room it was not clean to my satisfaction at all. I reported it to the front desk and they seemed very concerned. They were full and could not switch my room so they re-cleaned our room for me. When I came back the room looked very clean. I was comfortable the rest of my stay and had no other issues or problems. The staff is polite and helpful.

Service was great got in late and they check us in easy. Rooms were clean and neat. The AC work but a little out dated for my kids to work. The breakfast was ok for the price of the location.

Needs updating. But staff is courteous and helpful and rooms are not too bad either. "Old Ramada! "

The worse night of my life! As soon as I opened the door the smell hit me in the face! The room was dated. I do as I always do by lifting the corners of the sheets up and lift the mattress. I didn’t see anything then went to get something to eat came back and the bed bugs were out and about. Went to the front desk. The girl there was nice but the owner rude as hell and said that there were no bed beds and to give us another room. My husband told them. The girl went and went ok pictures of the bed bugs then and inert then did the owner refund our money. What a nasty place!

Wow where do I begin? Pumps and drug dealers next door and no Wi-Fi management refused to do anything but further complicate matters. Do not waste your money here it stinks it's dirty its dangerous.

This place is horrible! the bed sheets had a yellowish stain on it and there were little black dots on the sheets. Jay the manager refused to refund my money because I had the room for 3 hours and used the shower! Absolutely ridiculous!

This place is old dirty and nasty. There are so many better places to stay in Johnson City. Wish I would have stayed in my car compared to this and would have saved a little money. Definitely do not recommend it.

I got to the hotel at 2 a. M. Paid a $40 deposite and went to sleep… even though I had the do not disturb sign on the door… their staff started to beat down the door at 9 a. M. The third time they beat on the door the phone rings and its the front dest… when I ask about the deposits and explain that im waiting on a cab to come and get me… the front dest starts yelling at me to get out of their room and wait for the cab outside or they were calling the police… its 37° outside… WORST hospitality and hotel stay I have ever experienced. After reading the reviews… clearly the common denominator its the rude management that does not care to try to help the customers have a decent experience. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF… it would be a better experience to sleep outside instead of your musty rooms with the hostile treatment.

The VA pays for veterans to stay here while traveling to the Mt. Home hospital. It is a horrible place to stay. The furniture is very old. It is clean but old and not something I would feel comfortable in. The curtains did not close all the way. I left and went to another hotel. You get what you pay for. I asked the manager for a room in the main building and he hem hawed around and then told me Veterans were in the outside buildings.

Made reservation previous day, arrived, clerk demanded either to hold my credit card or post a $40 deposit for possible room damage… Have NEVER been ask for this in the past. I declined either option but had to choose one or the other… I was going to leave the $40… under the condition we both inspect the room before accepting and the other the two of us recheck it before checkout tomorrow… we proceeded to go to the room… it was a smelly dump in the run down part of the establishment… I ask for another room, which could not be provided… I declined this room… The clerk refused to cancel my reservation, and as it stands now, the charge will be contested upon receipt of my credit card bill. I went down the street to a nearby Sleep Inn and got a much nicer room for $79.00… Hope other Baymont properties are not run in a similar fashion.

Booked through hotwire for 3 nights. The first night we checked in late, around 1 am. The guy at the front desk was super nice. The room smelled horrible, but it was late and we had a 1 year old with us so we stuck it out. The morning, we asked to switch rooms. The manager was very rude with a bad attitude. Finally, he switched us to another room. We were gone all that day and got in late that night. The next morning, we woke up with fleas all over us and our things. We notified the manager and he pretty much called us liars and said the room was clean before we checked in. There was pet hair all in the carpet. (We don't even own pets. ) so, we checked out and got a room elsewhere. Horrible experience, would not stay again. We would've been more understanding if the manager wasn't so rude.

Had a quick one stay! Easy check-in, clean rooms, good breakfast! Couldn't have asked for anything better, and the price and location is even better! Close to the mall and the interstate and just a few minutes down the road from the gray fossil sight. Will definitely be returning!

Stayed 2 nights. Was more like a Motel. Tv was real fuzzy just a basic motel no frills.

My room was clean, quiet and large. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Room was ok, not gorgeous but clean and neat. No elevator so we had to carry all our bags up 3 flights and then the room was really hot because the air conditioning was not on. The guy at the front desk was really nice and patient and offered us a new room but we didn't want to relocate all of our stuff… It took almost 2 hours to cool down but after that it was ok.

The rooms were very nice and updated. Pool was open and clean. The staff were super friendly, and check in was simple.

We attend a meeting there on a regular basis. The staff is friendly and the room is comfortable. When there are changes in time or in the amount of seating or food we require the staff sees to it quickly and with a friendly attitude.

Old hotel. Not updated. Family said they had cleanliness issues with their room. Mine had a bed and I slept.

Rooms were great, all the hot water you could want. Service was fantastic, this is the first time I have been to Tennessee and they gave me a great first impression.

Go here last night it's 30 degrees outside They don't turn the heat so when you get in your room is so cold you can't stand it I turned on the heat it didn't even blow hot air So I called the front desk asked them if they had another room They told me all the rooms are like that It takes 45 minutes to heat up I then asked for a refund and they wouldn't give it to me Here it is the next morning and my room is still freezing.

I stayed here in Dec. 2015 when we took my dad up to the VA hospital, the rooms were very nice and clean. The beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in away from home, and I travel a lot. The internet was fast. The breakfast was great. Check in/out was fast and easy, the people at he front desk were friendly and helpful (always a plus). The location is good, just a few minutes from where we needed to go. The price is good, and I will be staying here every time I go to Johnson city, Tn. I loved my experience here.

Ok so I had a reservation for this hotel following a hospital stay for brain surgery. This hotel gives a 15%discount for hospital patients. My room was supposed to only cost me $76.50 after taxes. I was released from the hospital at 12:30 when I got to the hotel to check in I was told that because it was before 3 p. M. That I would actually have to pay $149 and some change. When I asked why the price was so much higher the receptionist said I would have to pay full price along with an extra $25 for early. Check in. Their extra $25 is where they charge $10 per hour and $5 per half hour you check in early. So I paid it. When we parked outside the room there were about 20 cops in the room next to mine fighting to make the people leave and when the cops searched the room there was a bunch of drugs inside the room. When I finally get inside my room I found it very dirty. The bed spread and sheets were covered in burn holes. The bathroom wall looked like some one used it like toilet paper for their rear end. I will never stat at any other Ramada or it's affiliates again.

Clean hotel for the price range. Was perfect for an overnight stay. Great location close to interstate.
