For $110 I expected to have a microwave in my room & did not. The room had a strong mildew smell. The outside sprinkler system is broken & sprayed water all over the parked cars & wastefully ran down the street every morning & one evening. Otherwise the room was comfortable & mattress decent.

The rooms were very clean, and smelled very fresh. The service was great, and provided everything we needed. The breakfast was quite simple, and included hardboiled eggs, waffles, and cereal; there was no meat found.

Clerk was very nice. Hotel smelled like mildew. Our tub was covered in pink and black mildew. Was moved to another room tub was not much better. We have stayed in very nice La Quinta"s. This one needs a makeover.

Very helpful and kind staff but was shorthanded on front desk staff therefore the wait to check in was much longer than most of my past hotel experiences… while, I didn’t realize it was a pet friendly hotel (booked on Hotwire) which I didn’t so much have a problem, however my room reaked the smell of animal urine and the bathroom shower curtain smelled like mildew and very unbearable! Front desk gave us another room (so thankful for that) and it smelled so much better. Still noticed mold on the ceilings in the bathroom. The beds were not the most uncomfortable that I’ve ever had but could feel the springs sticking out!. Overall, the hotel is in much need of updating and a hard core cleaning! I would not stay at this at this hotel again.

Nice area with plenty of stuff around. Clean, atiquite rooms. Friendly staff, decent standard continental breakfast. All in all decent worth while stay.

Rooms were very clean and the staff were super friendly! The location is pretty convienent too, although not your typical scenic area, it's very open and pretty outside since it's off of a main highway.

Accommodations were decent, but I was not informed of a 50 dollar "incidental" hold on my card until I arrived at check-in after I made reservations online. I had to leave hotel to go deposit money on my card before I coyld check in. They would not accept cash. Now I have to wait 5 days to get the 50 dollar hold back. I needed that money for my trip so I was furious. I chose this hotel becauseof the price. If I had known I had to have an additional 50 bucks I would have just stayed at the M Star Motel. I wont be back to La Quinta.

Hotel was fine for the price and being pet friendly. My one complaint was that the whole place has a funky odor, kind of like cigarette smoke. We'd stay here again if we were traveling with our dog, but only because it's $100 cheaper than the other pet friendly hotel in the area.

Room was fine for the price and clean. The horrible part of our stay was the noise ALL NIGHT LONG, because we could hear it all my dog was up all night growling, whining, and alerting us to all the noises. Aren't there quiet hours? If there are, why aren't they unforced? I have two young kids that were kept up. I will not stay at this location ever again.

Nice place to stay while traveling. Staff was extremely pleasant. Just may need some cosmetic repairs in the interior and exterior overhaul. However, the room was clean. This is a pet friendly hotel so guests are aware. I'm allergic to pets but had a pleasant stay due to the cleanliness of the room.

I was first put in a nice room facing the freeway. I asked the staff if they could move me to a room opposite the freeway due to the freeway traffic noise. They (downgraded) me to a room that had a faint odor (maybe from a dog). There was dirt in corners and along the baseboards. I expected something much better from a hotel in Franklin. I have stayed at many really nice La Quinta Hotels. This one is/was not a nice hotel. I don't recommend this place. Also the bathtub looked dirty, looked liked ground in dirt. The shower curtain smelled sour.

Such a great experience! The room was clean and the breakfast area was well stocked. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends. The parking was free, had fun at the pool, friendly staff.

I wish I could have given this zero stars. I called to see if we could stay there with our pets during our move from Ohio to Florida. This hotel is supposed to be pet friendly and it is the middle point between the two states. They told me no even though I offered multiple suggestions on how to make it work (we have multiple pets). I won’t be recommending this place to anyone. Now we have to drive the 12 plus hour trip all in one day. Thanks for nothing!

I am not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. Our rooms are clean and pretty nice. The pool and hot tube area is wonderful and very enjoyable. And has early hours opening at 7 and late hours closing at 11. I was apprehensive about coming here after reading the reviews but I think it's a nice place. I don't have any animals with me but I love that they are accepting of animals. They also have relatively good cable choices. The breakfast had long hours which is nice and accommodating. Overall I give the place a A but one thing I will say in the negative is that I went to the front desk to clarify my check out time and waited what felt like a long time then turned to leave and saw the man who checked me in at the coffee machine, I asked him and he seemed rude and annoyed. I could have bothered him on break but still that is not the best customer service… Pool mostly makes up for it.

This last trip was horrible. We have been staying there for YEARS because we have pets and family there. Always so friendly and helpful in the past this last trip will be our last to this location. Many other hotels now take pets. Three times in the week we were there we asked for the pet poop bags be filled up at the stations around the hotel… never happened, in case you are wondering why the place is covered with dawg poop. I won't go into you managers obsession with fox news… ended up eating breakfast in my room the last few days. Sorry excuse for a La Quinta inn. We've not stayed anywhere else for years. I doubt we will chance staying at ANY of them again.

The room was comfortable. The staff were very kind, pleasant, and professional. Thomasina was so good to our greyhounds! I'm so grateful that La Quinta is pet friendly.

Stayed here once a month for the past year. Pool looks great, I've never tried it. Breakfast is great. Waffles are fun. Next door to Cracker Barrel. Very friendly nice staff, from house keepers, maintenance department, and managers. Work out room is very, very small. Very dog friendly.

This place is perfect for pet owners, no questions asked about your pet, no designated "pet room", you are treated like a normal human being with a pet. Breakfast was fresh and multiple options, waffles, bagels, boiled eggs, toast, yogurt etc. The rooms were average and had a real thermostat, nice TV, and memory foam bed. The pool and hot tub was clean and working! The staff was very very accommodating to all needs and for that reason I give them 5 stars. Helped and asked us many times if we needed anything or offered to over accommodate us. Thanks Franklin La Quinta!

The hotel is disgusting. The chairs in the lobby look like there never been cleaned. The carpet throughout the building is dirty and stained. Now for the room. First thing I noticed was the carpet was torn. There's no refrigerator in the rooms and the bathtub has black grime in it. My sheets had not been changed as the person that was here left plenty of body hair on the bed. I requested house keeping but was told they wouldn't be back till the following morning. The front desk did give me clean sheets and pillow cases and apologized. This review get 2 stars only because of the front desk employee being nice and apologetic.

Check in was quick by friendly staff. Room was fair, although we did have stink bugs. Traveling with 2 cats, so after reading some comments about fleas, made sure to check them for critters. Pillows were way too firm, even after trying out several before settling for the least firm; so neither of us slept very well. Breakfast was lacking, compared to other LaQuintas we've stayed at. My biggest complaint is the ridiculous charge for the room! Never, EVER have I spent almost $144 for ONE night at a place as mediocre as this. Had we not been traveling with pets, we would not have stayed here. And our rate was with a AAA discount! Place needs updating for sure.

From calling and booking the room to checking in to checking out excellent service. Room was clean and the best part is they allow pets without an extra fee. Highlky recommend this hotel.

Clean rooms with friendly staff. Hotel could use some updating. Bed was comfortable. Great location. We enjoyed the free internet. Since we slept in we dud not get breakfast. It is a bargain and although no frills, it was nice and clean. We would stay again.

Moved from 1st room due to ants. Gave us a suite for our 5 night stay. Smelled weird but did not want to complain. The 5th night after coming back to room we were met with a sewer smell. Front desk came down to check and she was shocked. Could not move us as hotel was full. They poured bleach into sinks, tubs and toilet. Smell was toxic. All clothes came back w/ a sickening smell. Will not EVER stay here again!

The only reason I am writing this review is due to the customer service (or lack there of) I received while checking in. Everything else during the stay has been wonderful and up to my La Quinta standards. As a gold member, I have never had an issue checking in early for a room. Apparently there was a festival in town that prevented that from happening during this trip — which I would have been fine with but the front desk attendant was incredibly rude and proceeded to laugh as I asked for service. It was incredibly unprofessional and has resulted in the fact that I will never stay here again. I will however, plan to utilize other La Quinta hotels in the future as you can't beat the pet policy.

It is a decent hotel only if your passing through. The staff was friendly and for the most part the room was clean. I do believe renovation is needed soon or later, but all in all not thev worst.

The facility was very clean and the amenities were great. The location was very convenient and the staff was wonderful. We really enjoyed the room and stay.

Room 327 has fleas. Woke up itchy day 1, chalked it up to traveling. Woke up day 2 covered in bites, get up and legs have small, jumping fleas. I was switched to room 311; no air and smells like an ashtray. Switched again to room 323 which smelled nice, had air… but the whole time I was itching because mentally I just felt the whole place was infested. I realize this is a pet friendly hotel, but rooms should be properly cleaned and treated after canine guests. The accommodations are fine (nothing fancy) but being itchy for the rest of my trip is inconvenient — I have 25 bites on my legs and feet and 1 on my hand. My work made the accommodations so I have noted this internally for future trips.

No frills, not fancy, but decent place to sleep. Room is surprisingly quiet. Bathroom is small but neat. A little strange to find. The breakfast lacked much in the way of protein by the time we got there at 830. But the indoor pool is in decent shape, and the price was good. Would stay here again.

The bed was comfortable but the comforter and furniture had holes. Furniture was also outdated. The room was kind of insect infested. Those imitation eggs for breakfast were lousy, and the room was over priced. Definitely wasn't worth the $100 even if it was the 4th of July.

Awesome hotel! Great service up front, great breakfast, very clean floors, nice rooms, and access to laundry/ice! Conveniently located near restaurants, stores, and I-65. Solid rates too!

The pull out bed springs were broke. The shower had no water pressure due to the fact that most of it was still coming out of the facet. Someone entered the room as soon as we checked out at stole my husbands wallet that he had forgot. I had no pillows so I went to ask for some the lady said I'm sorry we're out but here's a blanket u can use for a pillow.

I've been working out of state for long time and I stayed at many hotels but this one was the worst and the way they treated us was really bad and unfair. It felt man and racist.

It was nice. Night manager a little rude, but he left the pool open, so not bad. All in all, would rate 5/7.

Fair price, good location, big room. Did not have a clothes rack from some reason, as I was sup graded to an executive King room. But will stay again.

Staff is very friendly, rooms are adequate. If you are a light sleeper, the highway noise is significant. Breakfast is all carbs.

We stayed Jan 14th and enjoyed our one night stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was well maintained. The rooms were not attached to the main office / breakfast lounge. But the breakfast made up for that because the hot eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, and pancakes were outstanding. I know this might sound strange but the designer sheets are like nothing I have ever seen before. I wanted to buy some. Stay there sometime and you will understand what I am talking about.

Great location, price and close to shopping, restaurants etc. Rooms were comfortable and affordable.

Nice and quiet if you are used to a park bench. Not sure they own a vacuum. Pick somewhere else! Over priced.

This was the worst place I ever stayed. Although the desk service personnel was polite I think this disaster was somewhat out of their hands. Arrived to filth, an elevator with wet floor and antiquated. The carpet was filthy through out the building. It needs a complete overhaul and if I called the health department it would surely be closed down. The front desk first put us in a room with an adjoining door, very loud, and not the style room we reserved and received a confirmation for 4 days before arrival. After we informed them it wouldn't work they suddenly were able to place us in the correct room but said we could only have it for the night. Our stay time was a week. We would have instantly found another location but the city was sold out everywhere. We called. The next morning we had to move to a smaller room than reserved. No assistance. After 3 days of asking we were finally placed in the larger room. No assistance, just a request for the cart to be quickly returned. We were stuck since in town on business. Yes breakfast was free but lacked real coffee. I could get a better breakfast from the Shell station a walk away. The eating area was dirty and under sized. Once again I believe the issues were not repairable by staff. I strongly recommend no one stay at this specific La Quinta until the health department and La Quinta owners address and repair the building and lack of staff. You may go home to find bugs in your belongings as I did.

Great hotel no pet fee and good service.

The room was clean liked that I could smoke here. We stayed for 7 days. The staff was helpful when I asked they didn't offer. Pool was nice we spent a lot of time there considering I had kids with me. I love animals so the dogs didn't bother me. Plus the weren't on my floor. So the only time I heard barking was when I went to the pool. Motel is a little rundown though. False fire alarm while I was here. Elevevator went down for a bit too. I as a heavy set woman with bad knees didn't appreciate having to climb 4 flights of stairs! Coffee pot in room sucks! We went and bought a cheap machine. Fridge froze my drinks and knob was broken off so I couldn't adjust it. I would recommend this hotel for ppl who are not picky.

NEVER STAY HERE! My room wasn't cleaned the entire time I was there, not a waste basket emptied or vacuum used. I paid cash for the room and the young girl who checked us in could barely figure out the change let alone print me a receipt — told me I would get one when I checked out. My bad I believed her and now they have charged my debit card for the stay as they claim I never paid! Not a manager to be found to talk to. This matter isn't over with as I had people with me who saw the cash change hands, now to figure out where it went.

When we arrived, I noticed that the walls were grimy by the elevator and the the breakfast area looked run down. I decided to look past that and still check in. We got our room and as we were going into our room, dogs were barking. They were across from us. I didn't know that animals were allowed and didn't want to be across barking dogs. We went down and they changed our room. Went to our new room and it smelled like electrical smoke. Called the manager, said that we would need to turn off the ac unit. He would come up and also call maintenance to come in the morning. Asked another guest who was on our floor and said that the whole floor smelled like electrical smoke. Asked for another room. Put us back on the same floor as the dogs. Tried the room and it was tidy, but looked run down and the commode was running. Decided that I didn't want to try to change the room again and asked for my money back and left the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It needs a deep cleaning in the public areas, notice given to all guests that pets are permitted and to have the animals in one area or floor in the hotel, have a maintenance man on duty after hours to deal with issues that come up in the rooms and to have more employees on site to assist guests other than the front office manager.

Beds not made no towels trash everywhere on 4th floor, lobby dirty elevator dirty, second floor room had bugs in bed needless to say we left.

Our experience couldn't have gotten much worse. When we arrived around 6pm there was a line of people waiting to check in and come to find out a lot of the rooms where not ready. One guest left because there as no heat in his room and there were no other rooms clean. It looked as if the floors had not been swept in quite some time and everything needed a good scrub down. I would guess that nearly half of the rooms on our floor still needed to be cleaned when we arrived. We had two rooms and the heat went out in one of them as well. Being the only one there, the woman at the front desk personally cleaned a room for us at 11pm. We where told that only one housekeeper showed up that day and was required to leave at 5pm. We had several family members staying in the hotel at the same time and they had similar experiences. The bed was clean and comfortable but we will not step foot in this hotel again.

I chose this hotel based on location and price. Glad I did. It was clean and comfortable as others has posted. The breakfast is standard fare, bagels, waffles and muffins but with the added bonus of hard boiled eggs. I also chose the hotel over others in the area because the hallways are inside providing a safer environment. I tend not to like the motel layout where rooms are facing the parking lot and anyone can walk up and bang on your door without entering a lobby first. Good TV channel selection add well.

Checked in for a week long, work related stay on the 17th. Staff was polite and friendly. Hotel was fairly clean although a little dated. Room was clean. Rooms on the highway side have a lot of road noise. I didn't care for the free breakfast because I prefer more protein and less carbs for breakfast but it was good for those desiring waffles, pastries, bagels and toast. Yogurt and hard boiled eggs were available but no hot eggs or meat. Room was a king; had a recliner and work space. It was clean and had plenty of space.
