Well I only swing in once every so often but owner never says anything to guests but I have heard rumors of how strict they can be but he say she say is only as good as u take it.

Could use some cleaning and maintenance, but the staff was very helpful and friendly and it is affordable, but you get what you pay for I guess.

Complimentary breakfast includes ants. Non-smoking room didn't smell smoky, but did smell musty. Passable if you're on a tight budget, but otherwise, keep looking. Spare microwaves and junk stacked outside storage room.

Little on the loud side but it was the day before college graduation. Beds where harder than they should have been but the air unit worked great and the bathroom looked newly redone.

It was loud. Walls are thin. It is next to an emergency service facility, fire and ambulance. The other guests were up late, and the dog next door got up early. The shower did have plenty of hot water.

New ownership and a lot nastier. We used to be half way excited about staying, but when we arrived after shopping yesterday afternoon, our room had not been vacuumed, boogers, snot, ETC was all over the walls and our sheets were dirty. Not happy at all.

This place is not too bad for the price its just not very clean and I personally would NEVER BOOK HERE but if I was homeless or something it may be a possibility.

This place has gone completely down hill. It's not even a good enough place to get a decent night's rest. They have bed bugs, yes I saw them crawling on my pillow. There was no drawer in the bedside table in the room I stayed in. One of the other drawers it when you pulled it out fell directly to the floor. The ceiling in the bathroom looks as if it may fall in at any moment. I would not suggest anyone to stay at this hotel even if it was free.

The Inn was nice but the reason for a one star rating was because of the guy (Chris) who worked at front desk. He Is literally dangerous! All I did was question him on some charges and he went totally ballistic! Got in my face screaming and threw a chair across the room. I think he got mad because I caught him trying to steal from me. I called the police and of course that was a total waste of time. Nothing was done. People can throw chairs at you and get away with it? This is America!

Overall nice little hotel for the price you can't beat it. Stayed at the Comfort inn Suites a while back for three times the money and was totally disappointed.

I stayed in rm 122 and got ate up by bed bugs. The front desk clerk WOULD NOT go look. He tried to tell me they are fleas but would not go look for himself. I asked for another rm to shower and at 1st he said, we don't have 1. We was full last night. I told him 1 is getting cleaned now. And his response was" all the rooms have bed beds". I said " and you're really going to tell me that". He wouldn't give us a room to shower or our money back or nothing! Worse stay ever! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO NOBODY! The room attendents came to the car and said we should be able to take a shower! I'm verrrry disappointed! The front desk clerk act as if he was on drugs or something. The health department needs to shut the Key West Inn down! Oh and let me not forget to mention. They had put us in room 112 which smelled very bad,, really really bad. Then into a bed bug infested rm. Worse stay ever!

Really nice owners and great rooms! The building itself is gorgeous and they serve a nice small breakfast.

So noisy! Weird smell in the room. People in room next door were yelling and fighting, kids running around upstairs. Poor sound proofing. Ceiling was peeling. Needs repair. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was very skimpy, no protein. Coffee weak. Big room.

After reading many of the previous reviews regarding this inn, we were very apprehensive as to what to expect. However, as this was eclipse weekend, there was no choice on where to stay. On arrival, check-in was quick and easy. We went to our room and inspected it to see if anything was lacking… And our fears were soon put to rest. Yes, the place could definitely use some rennovation (for instance there was mold in the corners near the ceiling of the bathroom due to the humidity in there), but everything else we as guests would be using (floor, sheets, sink, tub, toilet, and towels) was clean and ready for use. Over all, we enjoyed a pleasant and worry-free night.

We stay here once a year during our annual vacation in Tennessee. The price is amazing for the room you get. I've never had a problem at this hotel. Beds are comfortable, shower gets hot, and it has all the amenities you need. I knocked a star off only because there has been a slight smell to our room before. Nothing bad, just smelled slightly musty. But it disappeared by the second day. And who cares? We aren't on vacation to stay in the hotel room all day! It's on the corner of a main road with lots of businesses which is convenient, but we've never had a problem with noise. It's our home away from home once a year. Highly recommend!

Terrible. Period. And no one cares. Looks inviting. Price lie on look up. Can get better rooms elsewhere. Most customers not family oriented. Get It? Needs repairs. Many.

Stopped on Memorial Day during a 16 hour drive. Found this motel on Google and it showed $45 a night. My boyfriend called to ask if there were rooms available and if they offer a military discount. Got to the inn and ended up paying more than if we had been able to book online, over $60, with a military discount. We had two children with us, already asleep, ages 4 and 8, or I would've left because that alone makes me furious. Just woke up on the extremely firm bed and realized we have two hand towels. That's all, two hand towels. Good thing we don't need to shower. The room appears to be clean, the beds were not very comfortable, going to try breakfast now.

It was nice. Not super nice, but nice. Have a grate day.

Need to fix the extended curve at the entrance ridiculous, so many people has hit that thing the guy who was working there told me, someone needs to chop it back a few!

Good place to stay Quiet and very clean rooms To be so close to everything.

Not bad. Good place to stay for the price. It's a little outdated but was clean and quiet. Beds are a little on the hard side but bedding was clean. Sometimes being clean goes a long way.

I went to Cookeville, TN and stayed at the Key West Inn. It was the most horrible motel I have ever stayed in. Most of the electric outlets in our room did not work. The plugs fell out when you put them in. You put sodas in the frig and everything froze solid. The sheets on our bed had holes in them. I had paid for a 4 night visit, since my daughter lives there. After the first night, the next day, we did not get any housekeeping or fresh towels. I complained and got towels. The 2nd night, NO housekeeping. I again complained and had to wait for towels to get out of dryer. The 3rd day there, we left and FINALLY got a cleaner room with towels. I complained to management. They said the housekeepers were Spanish and didn't understand English, and he would "investigate" the matter. No compensation was given us, no credit. No nothing. We went to get our "free continental breakfast". There were NO seats available (only 2 tables) and we were not allowed to take our breakfast back to our room, so we left. I do NOT recommend this motel to anyone.

Short on towels and pillows. No pool or exercise room.

This is one of the best value motels I have been to. I've stayed twice in two years for about two weeks. The rates are very reasonable. The rooms are nothing fancy, but clean. Likewise, the breakfast is fine, but not fancy. The coffee is weak. We did have some trouble with the keys deactivating spontaneously, but the management fixed the problem quickly; they were also accommodating when we needed to stay an extra night and let us move our stuff into our new rooms early. Definitely a good budget place to stay.

Great Price. Friendly service. Good Location, I always stay here when in town. :).

Customer service was great! The rooms are not bad at all for the price. I will be staying hear again.
