Pulled in not knowing if they had a vacancy, but they just had someone cancel. Cute room, very friendly staff — Lisa and Lechya, I believe was her name. Breakfast was easy and convenient with tons of options. Room was very clean, bathroom was tidy. Definitely will be where we stay again next time through!

Clean rooms. I loved the Mexican restaurant thats located there. El Tapatío on Jefferson.

Police the 2 nights we were there. 1 night a drug raid. Prostitution.
Had the unfortunate experience of seeing oral sex being performed right outside our room on open balcony and in ice machine room.
Not a family hotel.
We reported it and nothing done. Email received back from bw Corp that they are not responsible.

Room was clean with great pink and white retro tiled bath. Breakfast was OK, but crowded the morning we were there. The nice Mexican restaurant adjacent to office was good and very convenient. We walked over for takeout. Overall, a good choice at reasonable cost just outside Nashville metro (about an hour East on US 40).

The Thunderbird Best Western is the perfect midpoint stop on our annual beach trip. We've been staying here for, at least the past 4 years, both coming and going to the beach. The rooms are ALWAYS clean and comfortable, the pool is ALWAYS clean, and the staff are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. We'll be staying here as long as we're able to make our annual beach trip!

Fantastic service and the room was great! We rolled in at 1 am, exhausted with two kids in tow, ready to fall out, and they were fast, affordable and very polite. We have a service dog and they were very professional about her being a working member of our family and not just a typical pet. We rented a suite and it was nice to have the separate area to get ready in the following morning while the kids were entertained in the other room. Also the room was clean, well stocked, smelled nice, and spacious. We will be making this trip fairly often with my husbands job so now that we know this hotel is nice we will definitely be back.

This would be a four star review except for the fact that the price was very reasonable. The staff here was friendly, the room was clean, and the location is convenient to the interstate. For convenience, the toilet and shower are separate from the sinks which makes sharing a room much easier.

Just stayed 1 night. Clean room, large pool, allow dogs. They even give the dogs a treat. There is a Mexican restaurant right across from the the lobby door (great food, fast service). In the lobby with tables was a small breakfast counter, and with muffins, eggs, cereal, etc. Very nice staff.

My boyfriend and I stayed there last Thursday night and woke up with bed bug bites extremely bad. I didn’t want to say anything when we went down for breakfast but when we checked out I mentioned it and was told well we will have to leave that to the professionals and call Orkin. Not an apology or anything. We had stayed several times in the past and never a problem until that night.

We had a suite on the third floor. It was nice, clean, and well maintained. Ac worked well, no bugs in sight.

The bathroom tile color is… interesting. But everything is very clean and in very good shape! The breakfast options are solid if you keep your expectations low, but adequate. I would say this is a stop which bucks the general impression of Best Westerns. Great stay!

Thunderbird Motel by Best Western is a convenient spot along the freeway, provides the basics in a good way. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Quick check in and check out. Breakfast is average. Rooms are large and provide the basics. Motel is a bit dated, including bathroom. Parking just alongside your door so that is convenient although it can be noisy in the morning when others leave quite early.

Highly-rated hotel at reasonable cost! Room was BIG, clean. Comfortable bed and pillows, great coffee. Nice breakfast included in price. Great Mexican restaurant on site.

Amazing staff, great amenities awesome food at the attached restaurant! The woman at the front desk was so nice to my kids when we were leaving and made sure they had plenty to eat. Nice location right off of the interstate!

We have stopped many times on our way to NC. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms clean and beds comfy. We will stop again on our return trip.

Don't understand the high ratings on this hotel. I stayed here rather than the LQ across the street because of the "5" ratings and was very disappointed. The hotel was dated and worn. The bed and bedding were good. Otherwise the room was noisy from the parking lot, the heater rattled and I finally shut off the fridge rather than listen to it. TV didn't work in first room but staff were nice and moved me to another room. Breakfast staff was nice, but the fare was typical. Would not stay here again.

Nice clean hotel with very pleasant staff. We have stayed in this hotel 3 times now and always been pleased. It is also in a good location as there are several places around close to eat.

Was traveling through back home to Missouri. Daughter and I stayed here. Very pleasant staff. Housekeeping had done an excellent job with the room. Was very comfortable, smelled pleasant and was quiet having no problem falling fast asleep after a wonderful shower washing off the road weariness. Would definitely stay again.

This older motel had been nicely renovated and our room was decorated with new furniture. The carpet appeared clean and room was quiet. My only complaint was the walking deck was very uneven concrete… so be very careful if you stay on the second level!

I stayed two nights while attending a conference in Cookeville. My room was clean, (the carpet will need cleaning in the near future) bathroom clean, breakfast was exceptional, beds very comfortable, staff helpful. I was missing a bedspread from one bed but it was replaced the following day. I will stay here again.

Arrived after long a day of driving, checked in quickly, and was in my room in about 5 minutes. Everything was really quiet and I slept well. Departure before dawn was equally quick and easy. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and will be back.

Hotel has a great and helpful staff. The rooms are clean. The bed was ok but prefer a better mattress and bedding. The breakfast needs improvement but for the style and price was ok. I would stay the night here again.

I had to evacuate FL with my 60 lbs dog for hurricane Irma. The person that took my reservation at 3 am unfortunately booked me for a night instead of 3 as I had requested. When I got to the hotel, the person at the front desk did not even hesitate to make it right. She was extremely compassionate and accommodating. They had at least 5-6 rooms booked with FL evacuees and their dogs. The hotel was spotless. Also, they have decent free breakfast and they have the nicest people helping out, cleaning the tables and helping you serve yourself. The room was clean and we'll priced. Close to a lot of restaurants and beautiful parks. I am considering a vacation there. I would stay with them again for sure!

Not bad for the price but look for better options if you're used to three stars or more. Room was clean but dated and musty. Ours had a storage closet that was full of junk including an old mattress. Breakfast was pretty bad. Some sweet breads and frozen microwave breakfast sandwiches. Not a bad experience but three stars is being generous.

I love Best western hotels. I don't travel much but when I do I pick best western. They offer a lot of amenities for a low, reasonable price. The continental breakfast is always convenient.

This is a nice place to stay. We travel with our dog and it was nice to get treats for her. The room and bed were very comfortable. This was the third time we've stayed here and we've always been satisfied.

Stayed there because of the power outages from the storm this was our second stop as we had just rented a room at keywest inn and the room smelled horrible and when I checked the bed there was a dirty pillow case stuck between the pillows and head board so we got our money bk and headed to Best Western. Room was super clean, plenty of pillows, nice size TV and nice staff! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice motel if your in the area. Big rooms, nice lady's at desk and helping with the continental breakfast. Although there is a Krispy Kreme across the street or shoneys next door or Cracker Barrel down the road lol. Also have nice Mexican restaurant sharing same property. Would stay again.

I am a tour bus driver for Lone Star Coaches have been all over the US. And I would recommend this hotel to client not too nice outside pool is nice clean. Comfortable beds spacious clean rooms that smell nice. Lots of shops and restaurants near.

The best just-off-the-highway hotel we have stayed at! Rooms are very clean and updated, breakfast was very good! And having a Mexican restaurant in the building is just great. We will be staying there again on our next trip.

Hotel with clean and looks like it was recently furnished. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. However, I didn't appreciate the early morning wake up call from the cleaner at my front door. You would think they would only send the cleaning staff around after guest of checked out.

This was the best motel we stayed in on our 10 day trip to Gatlinburg and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The room was clean with double vanities in the bath area and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and well stocked with hot and cold items to choose from. The staff at the front desk were not overly friendly but we were only passing through and the room more than made up for that. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Flies, dirty carpet and furniture, and smelled like a musty basement. Don't believe the good reviews. Noisy. And did I mention it was full of flies? I'll bet I killed two dozen of them in our room. I'd NEVER stay there again.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice pool and continental breakfast, excellent price. Older hotel but very well maintained and updated! We blocked rooms for a wedding and everyone was pleased. Glad we booked here and would definitely stay here again.

I do not usually write reviews, but this place exceeded my expectations. Just wanted a bed and bathroom while traveling so picked this one. I saw some negative reviews, so they must not have been in a room like mine. The room was quite large with one king bed, LCD TV, microwave, refrigerator, full-length mirror along with the normal things most every hotel has. The vanity was separate from the bath/toilet room and was the longest I've ever seen in a hotel with two sinks. There were also convenient power outlets which I often find to be lacking. In looking for something to complain about, I guess some people might be bothered that the tile in the shower was pink, but I do not care about such things. I would definitely stay here again, even if it were more than a single night.

Nice place to stay. The rooms were very clean. The beds were great. The most comfortable beds I have slept in at any Best Western motel. The staff was very friendly. If you are ever passing through stay at this place.

Decent considering the price. Pretty good location, quiet, though aging room was pretty clean. Had a fitness center with free weights, could use airing out though. Had guest laundry. Over all can't complain.

Excellent stay from Sept. 28 — Oct 3rd. Room was extremely clean, very quite, and I had not one issue. The day as well as night staff has an excellent disposition, and very helpful. I'll definitely be staying here again when I come across the I-40. Plenty of food places around within very short walking distance. Continental breakfast is the normal fare, but fresh, and well laid out. The value for the room is awesome! This Best Western is much better than many, many Holiday Inn Express motels I've stayed at.
