Staff was very nice and efficient! Room was clean. Room was a nice size. Breakfast was very nice (had an egg dish you could heat up, waffles, cereal, bread and bagels and mini danish). Had juices and coffee and tea.

Book this hotel for an over night stay after Carowinds! I am just going to say… DIRTY! $100 a night for a room and it’s filthy! This is not the standard I am use to. I am a rewards member and I think after these two horrible stays in the last month I will be staying at another chain of hotels!

Hotel was clean but needs updated. Faucet on bathroom sink was very old and didn’t have a stopper in it. Carpet and furnishings in the room were also very old and the room had a smell to it not musty but just an old smell. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. The pool was very small but nice except the door leading out to the pool and the gate to the pool would hit each other if opened at the same time, the gate to the pool needs moved up a couple of feet to prevent this from happening. Other than that mentioned above it was ok but a little over priced for what you get.

The people are nice and the room is clean it is a clean place. However, the are small things that could have been a little bit better. The out lets on the dest and the outlets on the lamps didn't work, the pool is super small. Other than that it's a great place. My 17 years old son says the breakfast is good. I can't eat due medical reasonings.

Overall the hotel is a good deal and the amenities were good, nothing to write home about. The area seems okay and it is near the highway and restaurants. I know it’s not a five star resort but there are just some basic things that could be better. Cons: — Light fixture in complete — Desk chair, looks like a dining chair, seemed like it could break at any time — Bring your own pillow as the three small square ones they provide are something to be desired — The bannister for the stairs almost came off as I grabbed onto it — Parking lot was very tight. It is long and narrow the further in you go to the small lot. Barely had room to get out of the carPros: — Breakfast has a good selection of food from some fruits, waffles, muffins, cereal, etc — Cost, the cost is somewhat reflective of the service and condition.

Room was alright. Staff was very nice. They did mention they are getting ready to start a complete remodel very soon.

Was not a hotel feeling. The room was clean. The breakfast wast good, choices for me were minimal.

Great place. Great friendly staff. Only One annoyance. The people above us walking all night and you can hear them as if they’re in the same room. Awful.

The lobby is very nice but our room was rundown. Entry light fixture was broken, bulb and socket showing. Carpet stains, furniture raggity.

The front desk staff were great and the hotel is decently clean. Unfortunately, during our stay a transformer blew out and knocked power out for 6 blocks. The power was out from about 2:00pm until 7:00pm. During this entire time the only update we could get from the power company was they were working on it. The emergency lighting and exit lights on the second floor only worked for about the first 1.5 hours. So the entire second floor was in darkness with only one illuminated exit sign working. At around 6:00pm I asked the desk for an update on the power. She said the power company would only tell her they are working on it. I asked if we could get a refund for the night and go to a different hotel. I had a new born baby straight out of the NICU. With the power out and it starting to get dark I couldn’t see to take care of her and I didn’t have a means of heating her formula. The lady working the front desk said yes we would get refunded for the night. It happens right after we checked out left the power in the area returned. At that point I had already made reservations at another hotel. The owners of the hotel did not care about the safety concerns over emergency lighting nor did they honor the refund promised. They did give us 20% discount but this left me unsatisfied. I would have settled for a 50% discount and been happy. I will never stay at another country Inn Suites due to the owners of this one.

Great place to stay, great price and the service was great.

Mistake staying here. When we travel, we try to stay at Country Inn and Suites. Rooms are usually large with ample space for suitcases and bathrooms are large. I am a member of Club Carlson and again try to stay here for points. This particular hotel was like a budget addition of Country Inn and Suites. The rooms were very small and no storage space for suitcases. The bathroom seemed like the size you would find on inside cabins of cruise ships. Also the walls were very thin as we heard people in the room behind us snoring during the night. The night front desk attendant told me this property used to be a sleep in.

Stayed one night. Ceiling had chunks of plaster falling off, plywood was nailed up under sink, tub dripped all night. Ordered a king bedroom online, decided against the king with jaccuzi in room option. When we checked in they must have been out of the room we paid for, so in large red print on our paperwork they wrote DO NOT USE THE JACCUZI TUB and put us in the jaccuzi room. Tacky and unprofessional.

Felt kinda unsafe… but this isn't always true for the other locations, they must be privately owned. Some are wayy better than others! Suggestion:: Always check ALL Reviews, and ask to see youe room first!

The staff is amazing. The place is clean. It is convenient to lots of eating places.

The place was hot and temperature control not working, the TV had issues, and breakfast was not great. The people were super nice and helpful and that is why I went with a three. It is older and that is reflective but it was clean. The shower had great water pressure.

Very nice rooms clean beds and clean rooms and a very nice hotel would go back any time.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, well lit parking lot, and good breakfast. The staff made sure everything was perfect during our stay.

Very clean and our room was spacious. Clean towels daily with our bed made daily as well. The housekeeping staff was very helpful when needed and the staff at the front desk were friendly and suggested various places to visit/eat. My favorite place here was the front porch/entrance… it felt like home. It was nice setting outside in the covered/shaded area with coffee and the newspaper… great breakfast!

This place is great. Very clean and nicely furnished room. We have a King Suite with a living room separate from the bedroom which was great. Staff is great! They suggested a local restaurant; I believe it is called Michael's Grill. We sat outside under the pergola. Food was amazing!

Terrible, it should be rated quarter a star Run down place Run down parking lot Not clean, smelly, elevator was broke and tapped all the 4 days stay Pool is s health hazard, Zika rich environment I think with the new great Managment things are just gonna get much worse before it gets even worse. It doesn't to have any getting better kind of thing at the end Enjoy your jail kind stay on this not so good motel kind of hotel.

They are trying so hard to make it look like classic antique look but it's not more than an old broken sad sad place The day we checked in we asked for one more blanket and the front desk lady claimed they don't have one. I'm sure its direction from the owner, Me P When I told her we need it and I have to check out tomorrow instead of the original three nights they found it right away Other than that the pool is full of contaminated water I'm surprised the city is allowing this health hazard The rooms are in very bad need of repair we had to change rooms twice, toilet and sink are leaking brown water if you know what I mean Light stands are defective Floor is squeaky, third floor that is Room service was not even close to our room by 3 pm when we came back the next day as the poor pregnant lady was alone on a full floor, I guess she was being abused since maybe the owner wants to save extra 70$ for the day So shocked country inn is allowing this kind of low quality third world mentality to run their franchise Anticipate soon this will hopefully be downgraded to 1 star hotel Good luck in your next sad stay there.

Not in a great location but I'll give it 5 stars for being clean, price, and staff. There are many restaurants nearby but the area is just a little ran down. I've stayed at the owners other hotel in town hand they have always accommodated me. I would stay here again and recommend staying here.

Very clean, modern, quiet! We stayed at the Hotel Country Inn & Suites Rock Hill, and as usual we had a good visit. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, and linens. Very clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, excellent front desk staff, quick check in and best of all a great healthy choice breakfast. I recommend this hotel to every one.

Horrible experience, never again! Paid good money for a non smoking room, had to request new room because it was smoked in and then had to worry about roaches in my belongings that I killed and took to front desk, never received call back and was told couldn't be helped because I purchased through third party?

Great complimentary breakfast. Rooms are nice for price. Great amenities. Friendly staff. If I have other business trips here I will always use them.

Came in to stay the night for a wedding today. Walked into our room to find the overpowering odor of mildew. We notified the staff who directed us to another room after a brief explanation. The new room also had a mildew scent too strong to ignore. Without so much as an apology, we ended up requesting a refund and going to the Hilton garden inn down the road where choking on the smell wasn't a problem. Additionally, when we asked the receptionist about the area, the only answer she managed to muster was "I don't know, I'm from Jersey. "

I have stayed at this chain, Country Inn and Suites for over 5 years while my daughter was at SCSU. I have never had this horrible experience ever, with any chain. There were fans used in rooms instead of A/C, 2015, if you reserved a suite! The GM was rude and condescending. I am an African American female and Ms Patel acted as though she was doing me a favor in just talking to me! I have never been so offended, especially when I was used to superior service from other places and chains. I could buy her hotel if I wanted to. She had no idea who she was talking to and obviously didn't care. I would advise noone to stay at this place, especially if you are taking a break and just want good courteous, customer service.

My children and I stayed in the king suite, this was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in and has a very friendly and attentive staff. I will be back and highly recommend it to everyone I know.

My In-laws stayed at this site this week. The lady at the front desk was very nice and when I asked for the elevator she pleasantly asked who I was there to see and confirmed they were a guest. While some people may not like that she asked — I really appreciated that they didn't just let anyone waltz into their property and she respected the safety of their guests! There's a beautiful front porch with rockers and half of it is designated as the smokers area. Nice that they give them a covered area with beautiful landscaping! The site is close to shopping, restaurants, etc but far enough away from the noise. There were a few little things like a lamp shade missing, the sign in the elevator was falling and the button broken… but overall it was quaint and nice. We'll be booking at this hotel again soon!

These people think they're hotel is just the best place in the world well I got news for um they need to get off their high horse cause its not all that you spill one little bit of syrup on their table and they say you trashed they're breakfast room if your a smoker you have to go outside to smoke most smokers wake up in the night wanting to smoke when you go out after 12 the door is locked and everytime you have to pick up the phone and have the clerk come to the door to let you in and the lady at the door won't let you in if she doesn't recognize you unless you have your room key.
