Lovely new hotel. Very clean. Great staff. Comfortable rooms. However, watch out for all the sliding doors in the room. My fingers got caught in the door, because the stoppers in the sliding doors are not positioned correctly, and two fingers were smashed, bleeding, and needed bandages and ice packs. They kindly gave us a full refund. We stayed a second time but were very careful of the doors.

People at front desk were very friendly. The lady who runs the breakfast was also very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was very clean and modern. My only problem (which is not the hotel's fault) is parents who let their kids scream and run around the room jumping on and off the beds after 10pm! Great parents!

Excellent Hampton, one of the best I've ever stayed in. The manager and staff were amazing, attentive and friendly. Rooms were updated and clean and the complimentary breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Restaurant staff was beyond helpful, greeting everyone with a huge smile and asking if they needed assistance.

If I could give this place six stars, I would! Very clean and comfortable room. Everything worked. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. We will be back!

Very nice modern and clean hotel, only a year old right now. Stayed 2 times in rooms 424 and 422. Spacious rooms with very nice bathroom and large television. 4th floor is quiet, plenty of parking outside and gas station across the street. Get food before you stay for the night there is not much available in the area. Comfortable beds and lots of outlets and usb ports in the room as well. No food available after breakfast they don't have a restaurant, no safe in the rooms either.

Fantastic one night stay! Staff was cordial and courteous from the front desk to the kitchen staff and service staff. We were particularly impressed with the breakfast! The decor was bright and cheery and the place was immaculate. The staff even sang to us!

This hotel gets booked fast! Make sure you book in advance like we did. They have friendly, helpful staff, clean and nice rooms. Complimentary soaps and breakfast was a plus. We appreciate the business area since we needed to use their printer for last minute work materials. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

This was my families second time in this hotel, we liked it so much the first time we marked it off on our map to go back to if we were ever in this area again. Staff was pleasant and helpful, manager seemed very attentive and professional as I over heard him talking with some other guest. There amazing continental breakdast never disappoints me and the young woman that keeps it all going is super fantastic. Oh, and the complimentary shower products they provide smell and work amazing.

Really nice Hampton! Very friendly, accommodating staff. Room was clean and I think we had a suite because it was huge and had a fridge, micro and the bathroom was incredible. Large breakfast area and commons.

Stayed overnight when traveling home from Florida. The hotel was immaculate and relatively new, the room was great and the staff was as well. One thing to note, the king "suite" is more of a king "studio" (no separate bedroom). Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed there Feb 1, 2018. This is our new spot to stay when traveling I-95. Very clean. Very courteous staff. Great breakfast. Wonderful beds! Hampton Inn never fails to please!

2 hour Traffic back up on 95 N put my father and I behind and made us tired so we ate dinner at cracker barrel and got a room here. Place isn't even a year old yet. Tv was biggest I've seen in a reg. Room which was very nice. The star of breakfast was the fresh fruit to put on the waffles. Check the pics.

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn twice now. It is newly built and very clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is also a Cracker Barrel in front of the parking lot.

This is by far the nicest hotel off I95 exit 53. They’re very accommodating. They have various ways for you to get discounted prices. They’re rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfortable. They serve a great spread for breakfast. I stay here every time I visit Walterboro even if the price is higher than its competitors. The only downfall is they only have an outdoor pool.

The room and service were very nice. The view from our room was also nice.

The staff are very hospitable and make you feel right at home. I was very enthused to see a CRACKERBARRELL REST. LIKE 25 ' away which was great for take out since we had my wife's service dog. The breakfast is great and amenities are wonderful. I would recommend to anyone traveling this way.

Clean modern rooms and an exceptionally friendly staff. One of the better hotels I've stayed in for this price range.

Brand new hotel. Great half way spot between DC and Florida. Very clean and nice folks.

Had the same problem as another traveler. Only rooms available are a handicap room or a king suite and the usual discounts do not take more than$3 off a $139.00 rate.

First, the hotel is nice. My rating is based on the fact that they're taking advantage of Florida travelers displaced by Hurricane Irma! I walked in at 4 p. M. To see if they had any rooms after looking at Trip Advisor & Hampton website. I was told they had only King Suite rooms & a handicap accessible room both for $139. I said I was a member of AAA and AARP & was told the only discount was the Hilton H Honors program even though both websites listed AAA discounts! This is clearly not true HOWEVER I happen to also be a Hilton Rewards member. I was told the 'special' Hilton Rewards pricing for that room was $136.25! I've NEVER received less than a 10% discount. They are clearly taking advantage of the emergency! SHAMEFUL!

This hotel is only 2 months old and it is beautiful. I love the new and remodeled Hampton Inns. The front desk staff was friendly but the 2 "breakfast hostesses", as they called themselves, were hysterical. They made us laugh the whole time. They sang and danced and made the whole experience enjoyable. We did have a, couple of orobkems with our room but they were taken care of.

Love the updated Hampton inn and suites. Clean, comfortable, plenty of space to unpack and store items, love the shelf and storage in the bathrooms and plenty of conveniently located USB and AC outlets. Great friendly and accommodating staff. Love the breakfast buffet and making waffles, just wish it didn't end so early @ 10am, 11am would be great for those of us on vacation that want to sleep in. Also all day coffee. Family friendly, no bars so no drama. BTW the room pictures shown here don't do it any justice, just saying.

LOVE IT! Beautiful and brand new! Modern decor, comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was great and included! After a long trip from Miami they gave us a gorgeous suite!

Located right next to I-95 it is easy to get everywhere you need to go. The staff is friendly and the accommodations are quality as well.

Very NEW and modern, very good use of space, very comfortable. A lot of thought went into building this Hampton Inn.

I used the Hilton Honors app. The check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and fresh. The included breakfast buffet was the perfect start to our day.

It is alright. Not the best due to a bit of a dirty room, but good for one night on a trip. Juice at breakfast was terrible. Only thing that tasted good was the omelet and waffles.

Nicest staff, great rate, rooms were clean and very comfortable. This will be our go-to every time we make the drive to Florida!

We wanted to stop traveling since it was getting late one night, and this was our choice. We were in the middle of no where so not a lot of options. This place needs an update! The sink was part of the main room, not in the bathroom. There was barely any room in the actual bathroom itself. The tub took 30 minutes to drain from a quick 5 minute shower. The most surprising thing was that the doors went directly outside, not a tradition hotel like more HI's. I'm giving 2 stars since the breakfast was decent and the staff was extremely nice.

Just checked in. It's 7:30 at night after a LONG day on the road making our annual drive from NH to Fl. When we make this trip, As we get tired for the day on the road I always look for Hampton Inns along our route to stay at for the night. I've always have good luck with Hampton Inns so when we knew we wanted to stop driving in about 50 miles I got on my phone and searched for a Hampton Inn, found this one and booked the room with on the web using my phone. The room was $100 which is inexpensive for a HI, but it's basically in the middle of no-where so I was not put off by the relatively "low" rate. The hotel is obviously an old motel from some defunct chain that has been purchased and updated with fresh paint, carpet and sinks. (I'm hoping we don't take home any creatures when we leave. ) This room should have cost $34.99, that's what it is worth, and that way I would have known to stay away and would have looked for somewhere else to stay. Other than the gross oldness, the room does seem clean. So I gave it one Star. I saw a Holiday Inn Suites across the street. I'd recommend you try that if you have to stay around here.

Wow I have never even seen a motel 6 this bad, musky smell, huge roaches, and room looks like a cheap $30 hotel even though I paid over $100. Certainly does not live up to the Hampton hotels I have been before.

I am sure the staff is nice, but as a Gold Hilton member, this hotel is not Hilton standards. Needs to be remodeled to fit rest of chain. Outside rooms, feel like a motel. If your a hilton snob, keep driving.

Very clean, and recently upgraded, room. Friendly staff were very helpful. Looks like they're replacing all furniture now. Breakfast was fantastic! Would recommend to anyone.

This hotel is especially clean, but the employees are exceptional! I travel often on business and vacation and plan my trip to include this hotel along the way. These ladies are very friendly, get along super together, laugh and smile a lot, and are committed to making this a hotel. The complementary breakfast is complete, fresh food, service area is spotless, and a attendant is present to assist with anything you may need help with. I'm planning to soon travel again, I'll be staying here, going and coming. This time, I'm bringing my mom. Will see you girls soon.

I liked the hotel overall, I didn't like it because as soon as I walked into our room, 204 it smelt like dog pee and the water pressure was very poor too. The beds were great though and the shower was very warm. The staff was really nice too. Everybody in the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good there was no bugs in the room. The pool was green though it was nasty. They had two waffle makers too that was helpful because it was busy in the breakfast bar. It was a helpful hotel for my little sister my mother and I to stay at for the night.

This Hampton Inn was, in our opinion up to normal HI standards. There are no interior hallways and the room smelled moldy, and just felt "unclean". Additionally, there were several bugs in the room and bathroom and my mother and I both found spider bites on us the next day the morning. After that, we didn't want to try the breakfast. There is a Holiday Inn Express across the street and a nicer Hampton Inn 10 miles south of Walterboro just off 95.

Hubby and I and our two kids stayed the night here while visiting family. The rooms were clean, the pillows comfy, and the shower nice and hot. The breakfast bar was amazing! By far one of the best I've seen as far as complimentary breakfast bars go. In addition to the usual offerings, there were little cheese omelets, gravy and biscuits, and, of course, the waffle maker. Best of all, the lady managing the bar was a total sweetheart. That big breakfast for our family saved us $30 or $40, making the price for the room even more reasonable. Definitely staying there next time we are in Walterboro.

I stay in Hampton Inn very frequently and this hotel did not live up to the standards that I have come to expect from this hotel chain. The room was fine, but the bed was not the pillowtop bed the chain advertises. To be fair, it was comfortable but not great. The bathroom was small and again, not great. My biggest annoyance was a lack of wireless internet. They have a hardwired jack in the room and it was fairly fast. They even provide a cable for you to use. Unfortunately, when two people are sharing a room and both need internet, this creates a problem. My girlfriend also wants me to post that they do not provide hair conditioner, despite being a common amenity for Hampton Inn.
