I wish I could leave zero stars. Worst hotel experience of my entire life. After making a reservation in advance, in the middle of the summer, the room temperature was easily over 100 degrees due to the window unit being turned off. It took over four hours of blasting the AC for it to even be tolerable. The bathroom was filthy. I turned on the shower and the tub looked like a mud puddle… dirt and grime swirled around the bottom into the drain. When I requested extra towels from the front desk, I was told that I had to wait three hours because there was “no one there to get them” and was promptly hung up on. I didn’t expect them to be delivered to my room at this point — I was expecting to get them myself — but she told me that I couldn’t even pick up fresh towels myself from the front desk for another three hours. And forget about the Wi-Fi. There wasn’t a single network available in my room to connect to (even though they gave me a password). Harassed by another guest right outside the door to my room. Wasn’t given a “do not disturb” sign and was greeted by room service while sleeping. It’s obvious that the only reason people stay here is to have a place to conduct illegal activities because the staff could care less about the guests here. There’s a difference between turning a blind eye and just being terrible at your job. I’ve stayed in one star motels nicer than this joke of a place.

I would not suggest this place to anyone. There was mold in our room and refrigerator. Bed looked like the sheets was never changed. The front of the dresser drawer fell off as soon as you opened it. Bathroom was disgusting and the carpet looks like it never has been cleaned in years. Room smells nasty. We ended up leaving a day early. Absolutely horrible experience. Never again will we go there.

Last resort. Check in, TV don't work, pool advertised but pool closed, request house keeping in the am return pm and nothing done call front desk they tell me to come down and give me new bed sheets that I have to put in myself.

Staff was nice. But I'm not sure they have anyone for housekeeping. The toliet looked like my teenage boys bathroom. Very dirty. There were cigarette burn holes in the cover. And the tables, on off switch of the lamps and the phone had stuff on it. The sitting chair had gross stains all over it.

You get what you pay for I guess. Shower had dirt and a used rag still hanging in it. Our bed fell and breakfast is from 6-9 but at 7:15 all that was left was cereal and warm milk.

The rooms were decent and pretty well kept for an aging establishment. The owners seemed to give an extra bit of care and accountability compared to some other motel management staffs in the same area of Bush River Rd from The Cookout and Frankies Car Wash across the street to just the other side of I 20. In truth there is a strange mix of borderline slum and Mid to high end establishments that operate as if it's just business as usual. In the midst Days Inn holds a moral standard above many yet governs with fairness and patience to those less fortunate. Bush River in City limits gets a bad rap but there are still good people fighting to keep this side of town respectable and honest. Not failing to mention economy rates when booked online at the right time in their own website. Thumbs up staff of Days Inn.

I worked the day of my trip and attended a function after work that didn’t end until 3am and then made my way to Columbia. Sad to say that when I got there I had no room waiting and the staff wasn’t willing to find a resolution. I was later greeted by a lady who said she was the head supervisor over house keeping and that she would make it her duty to make sure that my room was clean and ready for me at 2pm. Again I got there at 7-8 am but my room won’t be ready until 2 pm do u see a problem? This hotel made no attempts to accommodate or to understand my situation or even that I was super sleepy and exhausted. So after going from pillar to post I could finally check in. Mind you I have an appointment @ 2 that I wasn’t able to make on time due to the set back of this hotel and staff! When I got into the room and I inspected it I saw there was poo poo spots on my sheets, a torn black belt under the bed, a yellow softball left by a softball team, 2 wash clothes still hanging on the shower rod, a broken shower rod, a filthy tub, filthy toilet, a beat in bathroom door and the head of house keeping said that she was going to make sure my room was super ready for me. The lies The Lies!

This place should only be considered as a last-ditch stop only. Do not let the price and old pictures of this place fool you. This place is truly scrapping the bottom of the barrel for Days Inn. Let's start with the Cons: Cockroaches within the walls and bathroom. Ventilation is horrible. If you leave for the day, and your neighbors smoke inside their room or outside of yours, it dumps all of the smells into your room and it lingers for hours. Interior vents haven't been dusted in about 2ish years. Walls are paper thin, so at a ripe 0345 on the morning, we heard our neighbor profess his love to a lady on his phone, then profess his "love" to another lady inside his room… Without the phone… Anyways, the breakfast provided consisted of cold coffee, and lukewarm milk (even inside the refrigerator), among other standard continential breakfast items. General property cleanliness is not great and a spare set of hands for groundskeeping is recommended or pay the current groundskeeper more to do more. Or provide them with better equipment. Pros: The service from employees is pretty good. They were accommodating with the baby crib we requested. Housekeeping is an older cute and awesome husband/wife team, who would give you the world if they could fit it in their cart. The waffle iron for breakfast is a small saving grace at this facility. Did not use the fitness room or "office area".

Clean & quiet. Polite staff. Near airport and places off interest. Continental breakfast subpar.

Not bad area IST the best but will fair up since Walmart is next to ya.

It takes a long time to allocate room.

Bathroom was very nasty, toilet was dirty with old piss when lifting up toilet seat. Bathtub was dirty, bathroom door & floor was dirty. Pulled back the covers sheet had cigarette ashes and top blank was dirty as well. Baby roaches was every where. Called the front desk was suppose to be move to another room they never called back. Housekeeping know no English. It’s jus said!

Where to begin… my husband, my 1 year old son, and I were traveling to Columbia for a spur of the moment getaway. The zoo, museums etc. Just wanted to spend one night somewhere near the main attractions and not pay 200+ for a room. 1. When we arrived at the hotel, which doesn’t seem to be in the nicest of neighborhoods if you know what I mean, the first thing we saw was a rusted out lawnmower chained to the front of the lobby entrance. Great first impression right? 2. Adding to the atmosphere was a very run down abandoned building in the same lot — with at least one dumpster full of trash just littered around the area. (I realize not days inn problem, but still, doesn’t do well for business) 3. We did arrive a little early to check in (my fault) but like most places I figured we could get in before 2 as the long as the room was vacant and cleaned. Nope. The front desk, although kind and not rude at all, didn’t even bother to check to see if the room was available. Just said “oh no, come back after 2 and it should be ready. ” so off we went. Returned after 3 and it took about 15 mins to get checked in, and get our keys. 4. Parking is a little limited but not terrible. It definitely doesn’t feel like a safe spot to leave anything of value in your car though. 5. We had a little trouble getting into our room due to the card reader not wanting to work. It looked like it had seen it’s fair share of disgruntled customers or drunken angry men trying to get in. 6.

Everything was good. Breakfast was great. Loved the gym. And slept well.

Stayed for one night and was charge twice and if I didnt check my account I would not have known. Because nobody said anything when I was checking out. Then I was told by Nathan that I couldnt get my money till Monday when the manager comes in because nobody there was trained enough to fix the situation. Then when I told him I used to work in a hotel and nobody thats inexperienced can work a night shift cause you have to be trained to do the audits his whole story changed. I was booking the room for my brother whenever he comes in town but I will never do business with them again.

What a horrible Valentine's Day! We book a jacuzzi suite here for Valentine's Day. Got in the room it was very Dirty nasty disgusting smelly. The jacuzzi didn't even hold any water when we tried to run it and on top of that they had roaches. We end up getting a refund. On the upside the staff was very friendly and let us get a refund!

I enjoyed my stay at Days Inn. The rooms are clean and a nice size for the price. The staff's customer service skills could use a little help, but besides that, I give it 4 stars.

The room we stayed is a NON smoke room with the sign on the entrance. However it was full of smoke smell and with cheap perfume trying to cover the smoke smell. The bathtub is discolored, the spaces on the bathtub and wall is black, brown, is very disgusting. The carpet baseboard is open with gaps, the wall paper is also open with gaps, the condition of the room is terrible. We made the reservation when wee are driving and stayed there because it is just off I-26 for the convenience. I can't believe this is part of Wyndham. It ruined all my respect for Days Inn and Wyndham.

The check in was good. The room was horrible. It was dirty and gross. The plastic ice bucket was filthy, bathroom was very dirty back of door was nasty looked like someone wiped their fingers on the door with poop. Holes in the bathroom door, and we woke up early in the morning itching like crazy I think from bed bugs. Back of sink was not clean. We checked out early in the morning even though we still had 3 nights to go. Lost money on the stay. When we checked out early they didn't even ask why so I figured they already knew. Would never stay there again.

Low quality… Bathroom vent made a clanging noise all weekend… Tile on floor was moving… But will give 2 stars because the Wi-Fi was pretty good and it was located within walking distance of a shopping center (Walmart and other stores) … They need to hire a good handy man to work on their place and it would be a good stay.

Rooms need to be cleaned. Walked into a no smoking room and it smelled like someone had just left out smoking marijuana. The toilet was rocking wasn't comfortable sitting on it. The phone in my room didn't work. The staff was very friendly. I feel if the hotel was updated it would be a nice place to stay.

This place is a dump it sits behind and abandon building. When we got here the beds were re made with dirty blankets they just left them on, the shower is filthy, there is mold all over the curtain. The floors have not been mopped at all and we were left with only a half a roll of toilet paper. Everything is disgusting here. Across the parking lot is an area with a grill and picnic tables and where your suppose to take your dog to potty. My daughter and I ran into needles all over, used condoms and garbage all over. The staff Was rude you can't tell the house keeping from bums they walk around with sweat pants tanks no bras and socks with flip flops on and no I'm NOT exaggerating. Stay away from the breakfast it's filthy! The only reason we cannot leave this dump is because we were escaping the Irma hurricane and this is all that was available that allowed pets. Let's hope for no bed bugs but this place is prob a place for drugs and prostitution. The pics are def not accurate AT all! Pics to follow! Days Inn Should he ashamed to have their name attached to this dump! Not worth even 20 a night!

Horrible place! It was a roach motel. I arrived and the hotel was behind an abandoned building. There were two hooker's hanging out in front and when I went inside the room it smelled like roach spray. The room was musty and was so filthy. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I went right back to the front, got a refund and left. Don't go there unless you are a prostitute looking for a John.

Wow! A 2.8 average rating is TOO HIGH for this place. Room 213 was horrific and filthy. I received this room after the previous one they gave me had a busted A/C. I feel like I'm sleeping over at my drunk friend's bachelor pad. The bathroom is nasty, the mini-fridge had 3 inches of ice in it, and there's cigarette butts on the floor next to the bed. Although I specifically booked a non-smoking room, I was told that my reservation was changed to a smoking room. They couldn't explain how that change happened. The lady at the counter was very nice and tried to be accommodating. However, do not be fooled by the nice pictures of this place online. It is not what it appears to be. I'm writing this at 3:30am because I could not fall back to sleep after I awoke an hour ago to a roach crawling across the back of my neck. I instinctively grabbed it, threw it across the room, and heard it hit the opposite wall. It wasn't small. ** UPDATE ** I eventually dosed off again after several hours. Then woke up at 8:30am with another roach staring at me from the top of the alarm clock. I canceled my second night with them and opted to sleep in my car. All other hotels were booked due to the Eclipse. Before leaving, I also found a ball of very short, curly black hair on the carpet (it wasn't mine). The staff offered me a discount on the room but didn't refund my money. I have been to many hotels before and never have I experienced a place like this.

Never changed the sheets in four days. Their patch work in walks and bath was very visible. Clean but tucked away and not a very safe feeling area. As a single women I didn't feel safe with some of the people I saw staying there. The front desk person was very nice but other people would look at you and not smile and walk away. I would NOT go back! AND the AC was not on when I got there. It was extremely hot but fortunately I had to go straight to my workshop and didn't have to stay until it was cool.

Great for price. No idea why it had such bad reviews. We had a great stay it was clean, great Wi-Fi, nice clean pool, and even a picnic area with grills. It is back off the road but we never felt unsafe.

Absolutely awful, we should have slept in the car. THIS should Not Be called a Days Inn. Staff was very rude. Went to the room ac was not on, took 2 hours to cool room off. It was cooler outside in the middle of summer then the room. We were upstairs and every time you walked it sounded like the floor was going to give way. Security lock on the door was a chain. When checking in counter person banged his ruler on the desk and stated if you did not turn keys in they were 3 dollars each. When trying to get breakfast there was no fruit available and a sign that read you could not take it to the room for health reasons. Ummm then how can you offer a microwave and fridge. No spray for the waffle iron so they stuck while trying to make them. Pool was closed early and almost in a different parking lot than the hotel. When trying to find it, you come up to an abandon building and the hotel is behind it almost hidden. Did not feel safe here at all. Spend extra money or find a different cheaper hotel. From now on we will look at a hotel before booking online. Every other Days Inn we have stayed in we've never had any issues. Good luck.

When I first checked in the room looked dated. I went to use the jacuzzi and there was little to no water pressure. When I finally got enough pressure to fill the tub the water was orange most likely due to a steel water heater core instead of a copper one. Overall okay for a night not an extended stay.

Sheets not clean. Cockroach on the ceiling. Bug in the microwave. Hair in the icebox. Bathroom not clean. White chalky fingerprints line the door, nightstand and table. Oil handprints on headboards. Um this is definitely not my cup of tea. Could really use improvements…

I had a conference for work and had to stay over. The accommodations were great. Great pricw, great stay. That should be their motto lol.

On April 1-2 my family and I spent the night and had the worst experience ever. When we arrived the walk way wasn't clear. They had paint, carpet, and a door in the way. The room were OK. It wasn't the best. First of all, the door didn't close automatic, the heating/cooling system were outdated, the plate in the microwave made noise, and the toliet wouldn't stop running. To say they had just remodel the rooms. We couldn't get comfortable in the beds. It were hot and the air didn't know work. The pillows were for babies. My mother bed didn't have all the covers on it as mines. Then woke up for breakfast. Worst breakfast ever. Cut my foot on the crack up floor in the lobby, orange juice were old, coffee had things floating around in it, and waffle mix were like water. Not to even mention that the chips in the vending machine were a dollar. Parking lot were nasty as I don't know what. Then I checked my checking account to see that they charged me an additional $25 for a freaking cover that wasn't in the room. Worst stay ever. I turned away a lot of people from coming there that night. Left and went to a better hotel with better customer service and air.

The room was dirty and smelled like smoke, the shower was stained and dirty as well. I booked two nights and only stayed one, the hotel manager was rude and disrespectful. It is worth the extra 20-30 dollars to stay somewhere else.

I know you get what you paid for, but this was horrible. As soon as we opened the door it reeked of pee, it was nearly unbearable. The facet was very finicky, it took many tries to turn on, and more to turn it off. Then we noticed that the floor was wet. The carpet floor. And not just damp, but making squishing sounds. Because the place was full they couldn't put us anywhere else. We ended up packing our stuff and sitting in the car until Expedia could get us in somewhere else. On top of that the poor kid at the front desk had to deal with a full hotel on his second night. It took forever to check us in because someone had put my card in wrong and his supervisors were telling him contradictory things. This was the Days Inn Columbia on Bush River Rd, Columbia SC.

The room was okay. Pretty dirty and worn down, but the dirty part could be due to a housekeeper who didn't care. The stains on the chair were really bad. Just didn't use the chair. The beds weren't bad, but I always bring my own blankets when I can. Heard sirens all night long. Not the best neighborhood. No way to turn the fan on constant to drown out the sirens. Ended up paying more for the room than what was posted as a "per night" cost so with the quality, I'd expect it to be less in cost. Did have to pay $15.00 for a dog. There was a decent spot for the dog to utilize.

The room was decent. Breakfast wasn't huge in its selections. My stay was quiet, though. The staff was rude on the phone but exceptionally nice in person. The TV's are old tube-models. That seemed out of place in 2015. Aside from that, it's a decent place. A little hard to find and the neighboring building is a rotting abandoned hall of some kind which almost made me feel I was in the wrong place.

I stay here almost once a week. The rooms are quiet and clean.

This is the place I like to be when I'm in town. Its close to everything has everything I need.

We had a very nice stay. Slept well and the service was friendly and helpful.

This place is aweful. Like other guest we were killing roaches and the toilet wouldnt flush. We were going to try and stay because we had a few nights left but when we seen a roach crawling on our pillow we knew we had to go. This place is disgusting and they need to fix the roach problem.

This was the most horrible place I have ever been. I had to kill 6 roaches in less than 3 minutes. We ended up leaving and spending the night somewhere else! What a waste of money. I don't see how anyone could sleep there.

Husband and I stayed here while visiting family. Nice staff, quiet location, and decent price. Looking forward to staying with them again this weekend.

This review is really bad because the lights went out, can't reach the manager, locked out of a room, the key won't work the phone wont work and there is no one that can help you.

I booked this hotel because I had a bad experience at anoter hotel while visiting my daughter as she graduated from Fort Jackson. The rooms are very, very clean and comfortable. I believe they recently remodeled the hotel because the rooms have new furniture, beds, counter tops, etc. I extended my stay because I liked the friendly staff, clean/comfortable room and overall service of this hotel. The "bonus" is the GREAT price.

Very sorry I booked here. Dirty run down and employees were very noisey early 7am. Room appaired clean but was old stuff and worn out. Tub was stained, I stood on towel to take shower. Ask for king nonsmoking at check-in gave me a key for a double smoking and could not understand what I was saying when I called to ask for a switch. Lots of foreign employees. Left do not destrub sign on door, they came in anyway. Do not stay here.
