Knights Inn - Columbia Inn

Just horrible. The hotel room had nothing up to date like hotels are required to do. The furniture was old, the bathroom sink faucet was broken and falling apart. The toilet was the worst. There was dried urine on top of the lid from a previous guest. The electrical outlet next the bathroom didn't even work and every other outlet in the room was so broken that anything you plugged in like a phone charger would fall out of the outlet. There was no breakfast like they offer online. The drink dispenser for breakfast was out of order. Overall the hotel experience was the worst I've ever stayed in and would not recommend them for $56 a night.

Very nice staff. Older hotel, but clean & quiet… Great value for your money. I've been staying at thos hotel for the past 7 years when I go to SC for our show.

Managers refuse to honor either Google rate quoted above, or my company's national corporate rate which is even lower. This is an organized criminal enterprise which engages in false advertising, theft by deception, and fraud. They even charge for LOCAL phone calls. Next, I'm expecting them to charge extra for color TV, for the remote, for ice, for an extra key card, for the air conditioning, for the electricity the light bulb uses. This business DEFINITELY does not adhere to Best Practices of the hotel industry. Their franchise ought to be revoked. I'd be willing to bet they keep duplicate books to avoid paying their fair share of taxes too.

Bed bugs. Fair warning. Rooms should be cheaper if there are tons of bed bugs. They don't even change the sheets.

Seemed like an alright place at first. I was there visiting a friend who was staying there. The room was alright. However 60% of the doors were wide open. Which leads me to belive people live there. Also that the air conditioning is probably horrible. Then add I was leaving I saw people actually grilling out on the side walk. Pretty crazy experience of you ask me.

Wifi was very weak. TV channels didn't show up too good.

I stayed here 9/26/15 my birthday was 9/27 so I wanted to just wake up on my 30th happy … I had to switch rooms three times the first room the door was kicked in and wouldn't lock, the second room had roaches terribly and the third room was horrible also it was to late to switch hotels because that was all the money I had left. The clerk told us that he would give us a discount in the morning at 11 then 11 turned into 3 I said f it… I spent my last to be unhappy.

The look wasn't bad has really bad bed bugs I got bit all over my arms I stayed there last night 9/23/15 I would not stay there again.

Great price, beautiful room, all rooms have fast free Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave, TV, phone, furnishings The refrigerator and microwave saved a lot of money by not eating out. The airconditioner put out COLD air. High capacity unit that cooled the room very rapidly. Replacement of dirty towels, emptying of trash, and cleanup every day. I make up my own bed, but they remade it so well I could bounce a quarter off of it, literally. Perfect location within 100 yards or so of Interstate 20, as well as on one of the major roads in Columbia. Walmart within a mile, non ethanol gas, restaurants, etc very near by. This is a 5 star place at a very good price. Thumbs up, and thanks for a great stay!

Motel is dirty full of roaches and bed bugs got bitten by bed bugs all over my back and arms… very nasty dirty rooms be careful if you are staying here you will get bit by bed bugs.

I stayed here for two weekdays on a business trip. It was a nice place. The people who run it keep it up well. The grounds are nice. All the appliances in the room are in good repair. I and my family felt safe and secure. I saw no evidence of the illegal activities I personally witnessed at other budget motels in columbia. I have visited columbia several time in the last few months and stayed at other motels in columbia. Overall the knights inn was the nicest.

The room is a budget room which we paid for and had a smell I wasnt expecting. Maybe they need new carpets. The bed was a bit hard as well. BUT the service was oustanding. Wasnt expecting that at all.

Very helpful and friendly staff but rooms has bed bugs in them and Wi-Fi is super slow.

Have stayed at this Knights Inn several time. The owners and staff are very friendly and do their best to welcome guests. The place is fairly inexpensive. The rooms are clean and have a working fridge, microwave oven, TV. Coffee and Tea is available at the reservation desk most of the time. The place is pretty close to many stores including Wall Mart, as well as access to I-26, I-20. This is a pretty decent place to stay especially on a tight budget and I would stay there again.

You get what you pay for and to be honest it wasn't too bad. Definitely not my first, second, or third choice. But it was the only hotel with available rooms on Gameday weekend. If you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head for a few hours at night this place is fine. It did smell of old smoke. The bathroom was small, and slightly scary but it was clean. I took my own pillow and blanket to sleep with. But the sheets appeared to be clean. The bed was hard and my back was hurting in the morning. Overall, I give it 2.5/5.

Me and my wife stay here for abt a month with great friendly staff and owners are so friendly I have not found anything bad abt the place because l pretty much stay to my self and just a great place price awesome pet friendly.
