My wife and daughter spent the night here the opening weekend, and the service was perfect. Everyone working in the hotel was friendly, including the valet, the host, the breakfast crew, and even the maintenance team! Not a single person didn't great us or ask us how the service was going. The lobby is very modern, open, and appealing, if I were there for business, I could easily see myself working in the lobby as most of the furniture I sat on out there was comfortable, and it really gives out a upscale "Panera Bread" feel. The complimentary breakfast was also pretty good. They serve eggs, sausage or bacon, and omelets hot. The also have fresh fruit, bread to toast, milk, orange juice, apple juice, and water in glass pitchers for you to choose from. The dining plates and utensils are probably more expensive than the one I had my first 4 years out of school. The crew was very friendly each day, and chatty when prompted. (My preference) The room was also spacious and comfortable. Fully supplied kitchen including: pots, pans, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, sink, plates, knives, forks, spoons, and microwave-oven. There are admirably sized 42 inch televisions in the living room and the bed room. They are on one of the satellite packages that give you all the major networks plus a few HBO channels. Only bad part was no AMC (So I missed "Fear the Walking Dead"), but I caught all the football games I wanted to see, so I'll take it. The bed was plush and comfortable. Firm, but not too firm. (Which is the way I like it. I "slept like a baby". Except for when the our actual baby woke me up, which leads me to wonder who invented that phrase. ) Finally, inside the master bedroom, a sliding door revealed an immaculate bathroom. A spacious room with tiled floors, the toilet in the opposite corner away from the shower door (A plus in our books), and a walk in shower that could fit three people (although the 3rd person wouldn't be able to get enough water). The shower "room" had tiled floors, a large shower head, and a fully stocked towel shelf in the back away from the water (Another plus, don't have to worry about where you place your towel, or forgetting one for that matter). Their shower is better than the one in my house! Definitely will stare here again next time we are in Charleston!
